Chapter 35 Identity Swap

Chapter 1 The First Day

Memory flashed back to that day, Qianqian recalled what Jiang Ziyu had said when she first met her.

Biological mommy and biological older brother?

Her small head couldn't process the sudden explosive news.

“Qianqian, some things are too complicated, and Mommy doesn’t know where to start. I’ll tell you slowly when I have the chance. I returned to the country this time partly because I missed you, and partly because your brother Yuze has uremia and urgently needs a kidney source. The best match is your father’s.” Jiang Ziyu revealed her reasons for returning and her future plans without reservation.

Hearing that her brother, whom she had just met, was ill, Qianqian looked at Yuze with concern.

Perhaps it was the blood relation, but the three children felt an immediate fondness for each other from the moment they met.

Yuze walked to Qianqian’s side, his slightly taller stature making her feel safe.

“Don’t worry, I’m feeling good now. With Mom here, my condition hasn’t worsened. Rest assured, Mom will also cure your voice.”

Xiao Ran chimed in eagerly, “Yes, my brother and I will protect you too. We won’t let outsiders bully you again.”

A sense of care enveloped Qianqian. She looked at her brothers, who were the same age as her but had such sincere faces. She found having brothers to be a wonderful thing.

They wouldn’t bully her like Xiao Shan, nor would they snatch her mother’s love; instead, they would protect her.

Qianqian shyly reached out and held Xiao Ran’s and Yuze’s hands.

Seeing the three children standing together, Jiang Ziyu felt immense relief. Her three little darlings had finally reunited!

After a day of classes, Jiang Ziyu took them to an amusement park to begin their fun.

Xiao Ran and Yuze were very considerate of Qianqian, always thinking of her and treating her like a little princess.

Jiang Ziyu, who accompanied them, was relegated to being a photographer. Looking at the smiles of the three children in the photos, no amount of hardship felt too great.

After a round of fun, Jiang Ziyu took the three of them to McDonald’s.

Qianqian had never had the chance to visit an amusement park before, nor could she appreciate the joy of eating McDonald’s afterward.

“Yuze, Xiao Ran, stay here and keep Qianqian company. Mommy is going to order,” Jiang Ziyu instructed.

Xiao Ran was busy explaining the hidden strategies of the amusement park to Qianqian, while Yuze sensibly responded to Jiang Ziyu.

With Yuze around, Jiang Ziyu wasn't too worried.

She left the booth, and Xiao Ran mischievously leaned towards Qianqian, “How have Mommy and Daddy been lately?”

Qianqian shook her head and wrote a message on paper.

[Daddy and Mommy fought yesterday.]

Yuze looked at the words, his small face filled with melancholy.

“Will we still have a chance to see Daddy?” Xiao Ran lost his enthusiasm and asked listlessly.

From the time they could remember, they knew about Qianqian and Di Mingjue. It was Yuze’s illness that had caused Jiang Ziyu to return earlier.

Seeing their silence, Qianqian continued to write, “I want Mommy and Daddy to be together forever.”

Suddenly, Xiao Ran jumped up from the ground.

“We can set up Daddy and Mommy to be together!”

As soon as he said this, the dejected looks on the three children’s faces filled with hope again.

Xiao Ran was lively and full of ideas. He drew the other two closer and shared his thoughts.

After listening, Qianqian shook her head.

Yuze, knowing what she was worried about, smiled and comforted her, “As long as Mommy and Daddy are together, you can always be by their side, and my health won’t matter.”

He paused, looking at Qianqian with envy, “I just wish I could meet Daddy.”

Qianqian lowered her head and wrote on the paper.

[You can come back to the Di residence with me.]

Yuze shook his head, “Mom still has a lot to do. We can’t reveal our identities to Daddy yet.”

The previously cheerful atmosphere became subdued.

A few seconds later, Xiao Ran excitedly slammed the table, “Brother can swap identities with Qianqian!”
