"Di Zong, don't touch these shards," a servant said.
Hearing this, Di Mingjue moved his wheelchair to go upstairs.
"Mingjue ge, did you and Zi Yu jie fight?" Lu Sisi blocked his path, looking at the shattered debris on the floor by the bar.
With her in the way, Di Mingjue could not proceed.
Lu Sisi, oblivious, continued to block him, tugging at him and talking, "Is it because of me? Do you need me to explain?"
She babbled incessantly, deliberately delaying Di Mingjue's chance to tend to Jiang Ziyu.
Back in the room, Jiang Ziyu saw that Qianqian had woken up.
With her hair disheveled, Qianqian looked at Jiang Ziyu with sleepy eyes.
"You're awake," Jiang Ziyu said, adjusting her mood before approaching Qianqian and picking her up.
Qianqian hugged Jiang Ziyu's neck, her eyes searching for Di Mingjue.
By the time Jiang Ziyu finished helping Qianqian wash up and change, and they went downstairs, Di Mingjue was still entangled with Lu Sisi.
Seeing this, her heart filled with disgust. Jiang Ziyu coldly walked past them, carrying Qianqian to the dining table.
"Get out of the way!" Di Mingjue coldly ordered Lu Sisi.
Under his stern gaze, Lu Sisi moved aside.
This scene was witnessed by Di Jianhan, who was coming downstairs.
He descended with a dark expression, looking displeased at the family of three at the dining table.
"Sisi, sit next to Mingjue," Di Jianhan commanded as he approached the table.
Jiang Ziyu was to Di Mingjue's left, and the empty seat to his right had no tableware laid out by the servant.
"Uncle, I'll sit next to you instead," Lu Sisi said, pulling out the chair next to him.
Before she could even sit down, Di Jianhan's tone intensified, "Listen to me, go and sit there."
As he insisted, Lu Sisi, with a look of distress, walked over.
A nearby servant, with foresight, added a pair of chopsticks and a bowl in front of her.
When the old lady sat down, she looked at the unbalanced dining table and couldn't understand what they were doing.
"Sisi, why are you sitting all the way in the back?"
Though phrased as a question, the words coming from the old lady felt like concern.
Lu Sisi didn't know how to turn back and looked at Di Jianhan for help.
"I asked her to," Di Jianhan replied, covering for her. "My health isn't good, so I asked them to take care of me next to me."
After explaining, he immediately arranged for servants to stand on either side of him.
With him insisting, the old lady couldn't do anything.
Once everyone was seated, they began to eat.
Lu Sisi's seating position was awkward; the dishes were all placed in front, forcing her to lean sideways to reach them. Her leg, which was closer to Di Mingjue, was injured, making her body stiff and weak.
Seeking an opportune moment, her arm would intentionally or unintentionally brush against Di Mingjue's arm.
"Mingjue, help Sisi with some food," Di Jianhan instructed.
As if it were a grave matter, Lu Sisi was so startled by these words that she dropped her chopsticks. They fell to the floor, and she immediately bent down to retrieve them in a hurry.
With her leg inconvenient, her body's weight shifted forward, and she stumbled onto Di Mingjue's lap.
If both his legs were functional, Di Mingjue would have been exceptionally uncomfortable and jumped out of his chair at this moment.
Lu Sisi, in her panic, instinctively placed her hand on his thigh and used the strength of her legs to lift her head.
"Get another pair of chopsticks for Miss Lu," the old lady instructed. "You stand next to her and help her with food."
Di Mingjue shifted closer to Jiang Ziyu, allowing a servant to stand between him and Lu Sisi as a barrier.
As the meal concluded, Jiang Ziyu did not spare him a single glance from beginning to end.
"Mingjue ge."
As they left the dining table, Lu Sisi followed closely, trying to call out to Di Mingjue, who was pursuing Jiang Ziyu.
Di Mingjue's eyes were fixed on Jiang Ziyu; he acted as if he couldn't hear her, raising his hand to pull Jiang Ziyu, who was unwilling to stop.
