"Shen Lin, keep them coming," Di Mingjue instructed.
Shen Lin continued to place the documents on the table, one after another.
Before Di Dongsheng could snatch them, his third uncle's hand firmly held them in place.
"Third Uncle," Di Dongsheng tried to intervene.
As soon as the words left his mouth, Third Uncle opened the documents. Below each reimbursement form was Di Dongsheng's signature.
After reviewing several, he shoved the papers in front of Di Dongsheng. "Is this fake too?"
Di Mingjue smiled and proactively handed over a pen and paper. "Sign your name, let's compare."
Third Uncle stuffed the pen into Di Dongsheng's hand and ordered, thumping the table, "Sign!"
With the pen in his hand, his fate was also in his own control. Di Dongsheng felt the gaze of everyone, his mind raced, and he gripped the pen, scrawling over his own signature. xxs壹贰
"Shen Lin, get his recent signatures."
Even if he had forged them, he had his ways to prove it.
Another document was placed there. With the three items lined up evenly, the signatures were easily compared.
With the evidence laid bare, any further explanation was just a cover-up.
Third Uncle slumped back into his chair, hitting the table in frustration.
"Third Uncle, you've run back and forth, you must be tired. I'll have Shen Lin take you back. Come to the old residence for dinner another day," Di Mingjue said politely.
With things in such a state, he had no face to linger any longer.
Assisted by Shen Lin, Third Uncle sighed and left the conference room with a mournful expression.
Seeing how things had turned out, Jiang Wenbin's heart sank, as if falling into an abyss.
Was the deal he had almost secured going to fall through?
Jiang Wenbin sat there, trembling all over.
"Di Mingjue, what exactly do you want!" Di Dongsheng kicked a chair, suppressing his temper, and paced back and forth.
Jiang Feifei stood up from her chair. "That's right, Mr. Di. After all, Dongsheng is a member of the Di family. This company isn't solely yours, and you can't completely interfere with his ideas."
Di Mingjue scoffed, "Is this your place to speak?"
Jiang Wenbin stood up and went to Jiang Feifei, pulling her aside.
Her arms twisted, and Jiang Feifei was displeased.
"Dad, don't touch me!"
"Alright, let's go back quickly."
Jiang Wenbin pulled her towards the exit.
Jiang Ziyu followed beside Jiang Wenbin, helping him push Jiang Feifei out.
The conference room door closed, and Jiang Ziyu blocked the entrance. Looking at the fuming Jiang Feifei, she said, "It seems the plan to save the Jiang Corporation has been dashed again. Instead of clinging to this stubbornly, you should look for other ideas. After all, if this drags on, the Jiang Corporation won't be able to hold on."
"You!" Jiang Feifei glared, extending a finger.
Jiang Ziyu, accustomed to her behavior, stopped her hand and said calmly, "What me? The Jiang Corporation deserves this fate. No matter what you do, it's all futile struggle!"
She yanked her hand away and turned to look at Jiang Wenbin, who was angry but dared not vent.
"Don't worry, this is just a small surprise. There are more exciting things waiting for you later, so don't get too excited," Jiang Ziyu said, then turned and entered the conference room.
Di Dongsheng stood before Di Mingjue, his raised palm about to strike. Jiang Ziyu lunged forward, grabbing Di Dongsheng's descending arm.
Her strength pushed his arm upwards, preventing him from moving. Turning, Jiang Ziyu flicked her wrist, sending him crashing heavily onto a chair.
The chair was unbalanced, and his body followed, tumbling to the floor with it.
"Are you alright?" Jiang Ziyu asked.
Di Mingjue witnessed the entire scene, his eyes widening in astonishment as he looked at Jiang Ziyu's slender arm.
Did she just...?
Unwilling to accept defeat, Di Dongsheng behind her, believing she had taken advantage of his vulnerability, got up to retaliate.
As if she had eyes in the back of her head, Jiang Ziyu kicked backward at Di Dongsheng's calf.
