Chapter 180 Collision of Heads

"Where are you going?" Jiang Wenbin shouted.

Jiang Feifei got out of the car, avoiding the accident scene. She felt no guilt and left without looking back.

The drivers of the collided cars, some clutching their heads, others their arms, stormed over to demand an explanation.

"Mr. Jiang, what should we do?" the driver asked worriedly.

The situation outside the car was dire. Some car hoods were knocked off, and the scene was brutal.

Before Jiang Wenbin could even think, they were surrounded by the angry crowd.

"Get out!"

"Stop hiding, get out quickly!"

Everyone pounded on the car windows, yelling for them to exit. They were fierce as tigers, as if ready to devour them whole.

The driver looked at Jiang Wenbin in a panic.

"Lock the doors, don't let them in," Jiang Wenbin ordered, taking out his phone to contact the police.

The people outside pounded harder, and the car's interior felt immense pressure.

The driver swallowed hard, gripping his seatbelt, afraid the people outside would break in.

"Damn it, how dare you still sit in there!" a rough man spat at the car window. Impatiently, he kicked the car door and turned to leave the crowd.

The most vociferous troublemakers departed, and the voices demanding explanations subsided.

Just as the driver thought everyone was tired and had stopped shouting, the same burly man reappeared, dragging an iron bar, his expression ferocious.

"Mr. Jiang!" the driver exclaimed first as the man began banging the iron bar on the car roof.

Fortunately, the car body was sturdy. It was only dented, not broken.

Seeing him about to swing the second time, Jiang Wenbin fearfully opened the car door and stepped out.

"I thought you could hide forever!" the man sneered.

As everyone snapped back to attention, they immediately surrounded Jiang Wenbin.

"Can't you drive? Do you know you almost killed us?"

"Exactly, that was a near-fatal mistake!"

"My car is brand new. What rotten luck to encounter an idiot like you right after driving it out."

Vulgarities rained down on Jiang Wenbin. Some hot-tempered individuals grabbed his collar.

His suit buttons were torn off, and Jiang Wenbin was powerless, pushed back and forth.

Police cars arrived with a siren's wail. Men in police uniforms stepped out.

Holding their batons, they shouted, "Let go! Everyone stand properly!"

Upon seeing the police, the crowd dared not act rashly and obediently moved to the side.

One officer approached Jiang Wenbin and asked respectfully, "Mr. Jiang, are you alright?"

Jiang Wenbin's face was ashen. His clothes were torn, and he looked utterly disheveled.

The officer, observing the surrounding scene, understood the situation at a glance.

"Mr. Jiang, why don't you contact the insurance company first?" the officer suggested.

The compensation for over a dozen cars was no small sum. As the primary cause of the chain collision, he would have to bear the brunt of the responsibility.

Jiang Wenbin took out his phone, made a call, and then asked, "Approximately when can we leave?"

"If they are all satisfied with the compensation, it will be soon. If not, you might need to accompany us to the police station," the officer replied.

The surrounding car owners watched them expectantly, some even taking out their phones to record. The police also hesitated to show excessive favoritism towards Jiang Wenbin, as a leaked video on the internet could jeopardize their jobs.

"It would be best to leave as soon as possible; I have other matters to attend to."

"We will."

The officer readily agreed and turned to converse with his colleagues.

As the police took photos for evidence and directed traffic around the normal vehicles, the insurance company personnel summoned by Jiang Wenbin finally arrived.

"Mr. Jiang, hello. I am Xiao Wu from Ankang Insurance Company," a man in a sharp suit said, extending his hand to introduce himself.
