Where is this?
What are they doing?
A series of questions flashed through Jiang Ziyu's mind.
A simple kiss wasn't enough; Di Mingjue's hands grew restless. His large palms moved up and down, each inch feeling like an electric current, prickling Jiang Ziyu's heart.
No!
She gritted her teeth, her mouth filled with the taste of blood.
Di Mingjue gasped, his tongue thick as he glared hatefully at the innocent-looking Jiang Ziyu, "Are you trying to bite me to death?"
If his tongue hadn't dodged danger in time, she would have bitten it clean off.
Jiang Ziyu was equally furious, "Pervert!"
Without another word, she got off Di Mingjue's lap with disgust. The only thing she remembered was their one-year contract. They weren't a couple envied by others as rumored, but contractual spouses.
With only half a year left on the contract, once it expired and Yu Ze's surgery went smoothly, she would leave him and the capital.
Wiping her lips with her sleeve, Jiang Ziyu looked at him coldly, "This is the last time. I don't want what just happened to happen again. You and I know our relationship, don't we? You doing this only makes me disgusted!"
These words reminded Di Mingjue of the document she signed on her first day at the Di family. He had personally arranged for it to be drafted and then personally handed her the pen to sign. But now, he regretted it.
He increasingly realized that not only could Qianqian not leave him, but he also couldn't leave her.
However, seeing her constantly mindful of the contract, his passionate heart felt as if it had been torn apart.
"Are you that eager for the year to end?" Di Mingjue asked coldly, grabbing Jiang Ziyu's hand and staring at her, forcing her to answer.
Jiang Ziyu twisted her wrist, finding Di Mingjue's grip tightening. She turned her face and retorted, "I've always heeded your warnings. As for you, what right do you have to say these things now?"
"Heeded?" Di Mingjue scoffed. "I told you to stay away from other men, did you do that?"
"You're being unreasonable!" Seeing the conversation spiraling, Jiang Ziyu refused to engage further.
She turned and went into the kitchen, locking the sliding door from the inside through the glass.
Di Mingjue was also furious. He glanced at the living room and then went to Qianqian's room.
He knocked on the door and entered only after receiving permission.
Qianqian was sitting at her desk, drawing. Looking at her, Di Mingjue thought of Jiang Ziyu outside.
"Come!" Di Mingjue extended his hand.
Qianqian handed him her drawing book.
Actually, it was a person rather than a drawing, but Di Mingjue didn't say anything about it.
Flipping through the pages, Di Mingjue noticed two young boys in every drawing. Upon closer inspection, they bore some resemblance to the two boys he had seen earlier.
"Are these Qianqian's friends?" Di Mingjue couldn't help but ask.
Qianqian looked at where his finger was pointing and nodded.
Once the children were confirmed, Di Mingjue's gaze fell on the tall young man in the corner.
Compared to the two little boys, the young man appeared more mature, like a significant figure.
"And this one? Why doesn't he look like me?" Di Mingjue asked, attempting to probe.
He had seen Qianqian's depiction of him before, and clearly, his attire and appearance bore no resemblance to the man in the drawing.
Could it be that she had taken Qianqian to meet other men?
Seeing that the scene depicted a playground, Di Mingjue's flash of curiosity turned into a heavy concern.
"Qianqian, who is this drawing of?" Di Mingjue asked again, pointing directly at the figure in the drawing.
Unable to speak, Qianqian went to her desk to get paper and a pen.
"Uncle."
His guess was indeed correct!
