Chapter 202 The Real Estate Agency

“You dropped it yourself, why should I pick it up for you?” Xu Jingya crossed her arms, looking at her triumphantly.

The butler on the side could feel the palpable tension, but Xu Jingya insisted on confronting her. To avoid getting caught in the crossfire, the butler discreetly withdrew.

The opportunity had been given, and since she didn't cherish it, Jiang Ziyu saw no need to show further courtesy. She bent down, picked up her phone from the ground, checked its condition, and pressed the power button. The screen lit up again.

Seeing that the phone was undamaged, Xu Jingya’s heart leaped into her throat. Swallowing hard, she dared not blink, her eyes fixed intently on Jiang Ziyu’s hand. xxs1

“I’m at the Jiang residence, yes, tell them to come over.” Jiang Ziyu looked back at Xu Jingya. After hanging up, she glanced at the time on her screen.

Xu Jingya feigned composure, pointing at her and demanding, “What do you want?”

“Don’t rush, you’ll know soon enough.” Jiang Ziyu walked past her and headed towards the living room.

To prevent Jiang Ziyu from discovering anyone in the house, she had deliberately closed all the curtains, plunging the interior into darkness.

Xu Jingya, on guard, followed Jiang Ziyu into the living room. Seeing her about to go upstairs, she blocked the entrance to the staircase with her body.

Jiang Ziyu, observing Xu Jingya’s flustered state, lightly swung her arm, turned, and sat down on the sofa.

Attending to herself, she reached into the fruit bowl and took out an orange the size of a fist.

“What exactly do you want? No matter what happened before, you’re still a member of the Jiang family, and Wenbin is your biological father. If not for us, think of your father. Without the house, where will he live in his later years?” Xu Jingya, in a desperate attempt, resorted to emotional blackmail.

But this tactic no longer worked on Jiang Ziyu. She leisurely savored the sourness of the orange, sitting quietly and waiting.

Long after her words fell silent, with Jiang Ziyu showing no inclination to cooperate, Xu Jingya turned and went upstairs.

Jiang Ziyu wasn’t yielding to her, but she might give some face to Jiang Wenbin. Given their blood relation, she couldn’t believe Jiang Ziyu would be so brazen in front of Jiang Wenbin.

Just a few minutes after going upstairs, a white van stopped at the entrance of the Jiang residence, followed by several men in suits carrying cameras who walked in.

Hearing the footsteps, Jiang Ziyu looked up from the sofa.

“Hello, may I ask if you are Miss Jiang? We are from a home sales agency.”

“Yes, I am. Thank you for coming.”

Jiang Ziyu walked around and approached them.

The person who had just spoken took out a business card from his pocket and handed it to Jiang Ziyu with both hands.

“Wang Hu,” Jiang Ziyu read the name.

The man smiled and said to her, “Miss Jiang, where should we start taking photos?”

Glancing upstairs, Jiang Ziyu gestured around, “Let’s start from downstairs.”

“Alright.” Wang Hu nodded and instructed his colleagues behind him.

Carrying their cameras, some photographed small details, while others focused on larger areas.

Seeing this, the butler stealthily went upstairs to inform Xu Jingya about the situation downstairs.

Upon hearing that people were there to view the house, Xu Jingya rushed out.

“Stop, who allowed you to take pictures?” Xu Jingya shouted as she ran downstairs, trying to snatch the cameras from their hands.

Everyone looked at her in confusion, shielding their cameras and turning to seek Jiang Ziyu’s help.

“Be careful, these cameras are expensive. Not like my phone. If you break one, you’ll have to pay for it.” Jiang Ziyu slowly walked over to Xu Jingya and gently removed her hand from a camera.

The staff, now free, quickly moved their cameras behind them and retreated a few steps.

Xu Jingya, seeing a throng of people dressed in professional attire, turned and stormed into the kitchen, yelling, “Let’s see who dares to take pictures here!”

Brandishing a knife in front of her, she glared fiercely at Jiang Ziyu.
