The children had not seen Ye Ziyu and Di Mingjue for several days, and they lost their usual cheerfulness. They all stood at home, wilted like frostbitten eggplants.
Even Xiao Ran, who was usually talkative, had nothing to say. He sat there blankly, not wanting to speak at all.
“Yuze?” Ye Chenhan called out several times, but none of the three children responded. They didn't even look up at him.

Seeing that the children were unhappy, he specifically sent a message to Ye Ziyu. He learned that they were already on their way back by plane and would likely arrive tomorrow evening.

Hearing the familiar voice, the three children excitedly rushed forward and hugged Ye Chenhan's neck.

"It's Teacher Xi Xi calling," Qianqian said, looking at the display on the screen. She answered the phone for Ye Chenhan.
When the call was connected, Yu Xi Xi's sweet voice came through.
"Chenhan, what are you doing?" Yu Xi Xi asked.
Hearing this, Xiao Ran yelled, "Teacher Xi Xi, Little Uncle is so mean, he hit me."
Hearing the noisy sounds and realizing Ye Chenhan was with the children, Yu Xi Xi said, "Qianqian, have your little uncle take the phone."
"Xi Xi." Ye Chenhan took the phone from Qianqian and walked aside.
"Why are you still roughhousing with the children? From Xiao Ran's voice, you have quite a bit of strength," Yu Xi Xi chided.
Ye Chenhan glared at the children who were pouncing forward to eavesdrop, "No, we were just playing around."
