"Chen Han, don't be shy, just tell Xi Xi the truth."
Ye Ziyu glanced at him, the unsupportive one, and gave him a chance to shine.
Yu Xixi's gaze once again fell on Ye Chen Han.
"I just want you to enjoy the meal," Ye Chen Han managed to say after a long pause.
Ugh!
Ye Ziyu exchanged a speechless glance with Di Mingjue. Why did he become so foolish when it came to matters of the heart?
The atmosphere became awkward. Ye Chen Han fidgeted, waiting for Yu Xixi's reply, while Yu Xixi stared blankly at the table full of food.
Seeing this, Ye Ziyu didn't know how to break the ice.
"Everyone, please start eating!"
A few minutes later, Di Mingjue, seeing the children's wistful eyes gazing at the delicious food they couldn't yet reach, spoke up to break the silence.
As everyone began to eat, the atmosphere eased. Ye Ziyu picked up her phone from the table, glanced at Ye Chen Han, who sat silently opposite her, and then looked down to tap on her keyboard.

Feeling his phone vibrate in his pocket, Ye Chen Han put down his chopsticks and took out his phone. He glanced at the screen, and his eyes turned to Ye Ziyu.
Through their exchange of looks, Ye Chen Han's body gradually leaned towards Yu Xixi.
"I just tried this, it tastes good, you should try it too." Ye Chen Han picked up a piece with serving chopsticks and placed it on Yu Xixi's plate.
Yu Xixi looked at the food, and then her peripheral vision swept over Ye Chen Han, who was beside her with a fawning expression. She picked up her chopsticks, pushed the plate forward a bit, and reached out to pick up other dishes.
The food left untouched was like Ye Chen Han's unspoken intentions, placed aside without value, from steaming hot to cold.
Every move Ye Chen Han made was observed by Di Mingjue and Ye Ziyu, their faces beaming with smiles. Just as Ye Chen Han looked over, Di Mingjue gave him a provocative look.
Before Ye Chen Han could understand why he was being provoked, Di Mingjue, with a dish in his chopsticks, moved towards Ye Ziyu.
"Here, my dear, taste it and see if it's good." Di Mingjue said as he picked up food, holding a tray beneath to catch any drips. He was attentive and full of affection.
Ye Ziyu's body instinctively tilted backward, evading the affection Di Mingjue was offering.
"Here, open your mouth!" Di Mingjue's second wave of attack arrived.
Sensing his intentions, Ye Ziyu obligingly opened her mouth. As she chewed the food, she exaggeratedly looked in Ye Chen Han's direction, "It's truly delicious, perhaps because you fed me?"
"Mommy, I want to feed you too."
The three children, eager to gain Ye Ziyu's praise, vied with each other to pick up food with their chopsticks and feed Ye Ziyu.
She only had one mouth, and couldn't possibly eat it all at once.
Di Mingjue bent over, eating from left to right, consuming all the food the children picked up.
Licking his lips with relish, Di Mingjue put on an even more exaggerated expression than Ye Ziyu had just displayed, "Indeed, food fed by others is always more delicious!"
Their side of the table was lively and filled with affection, while Ye Chen Han and Yu Xixi watched awkwardly.
Having demonstrated the expected behavior, if he didn't act now, there would be no teaching him.
Ye Ziyu looked at Yu Xixi, her gaze gentle, "Xi Xi, do you still like the taste?"
Yu Xixi nodded, "Yes, it's quite good."
"When Chen Han heard you agreed to the meeting, his heart became even more anxious. He was afraid he'd do something wrong and make you unhappy. Now that you've said it's good, he must be the happiest." Ye Ziyu spoke like a doting mother, constantly recounting Ye Chen Han's actions towards Yu Xixi.
Yu Xixi understood his intentions.
"I forgive you for playing tricks on me last time." Yu Xixi turned to look at Ye Ziyu behind her.
