Chapter 934 The Last Phone Call

How soon is soon?

The longer Ye Ziyu stayed by Gu Xiuyu's side, the less peaceful Di Mingjue's heart became.

The three of them remained standing in the middle of the corridor, neither taking a step.

"You still want to go out?" Shen Lin broke the silence.

Di Mingjue nodded. "Ziyu needs me."

Needs you?

Without you, she wouldn't have gone through so much!

Ye Shaoting thought to himself and then advised, "You should wait in the ward for news. Since President Gu took Ziyu away, it means he likes her, and naturally, he won't hurt her. If you go out and something happens, Ziyu might end up worrying about you instead."

Shen Lin, standing beside them, immediately agreed, as if a switch had been flipped. "Yes, when Madam called me for the last time, she was worried about your condition. By the way, she seemed to have told me how to find her then."

Shen Lin's words prompted both Di Mingjue and Ye Shaoting to ask excitedly.

"What method?" they both asked in unison.

After exchanging glances, Di Mingjue turned to Shen Lin and said, "Think carefully about what Ziyu told you last."

"Yes, with your help, I will also dispatch people to search for her," Shen Lin added pressure from the side.

The more anxious Shen Lin felt, the less he could recall. Sweat dripped from his hairline onto his forehead, and tiny beads of water clung to his nose. As his fingers fumbled, a shout from ahead instantly relieved his unspoken pressure.

"Big brother, why are you here?" Ye Chenhan emerged from the elevator, his face covered in sweat.

The call had suddenly gone silent, and he was too worried to delay, so he rushed over from the police station. Yu Xixi remained at the police station, guarding the men who had initially kidnapped Ye Ziyu.

Ye Shaoting, seeing Ye Chenhan's breathless state, guessed that he was also concerned about Ye Ziyu being taken by Gu Xiuyu.

"I heard from Dad that Mingjue was in trouble, so I came to check," Ye Shaoting explained.

Ye Qianzhi, who learned about the situation from Ye Chenhan, didn't suspect anything. He nodded and looked at Di Mingjue standing before him, his gaze sweeping over him. "Are you alright?"

"More or less," Di Mingjue replied.

The few mouthfuls of black blood he had just spat out had significantly lightened his heavy body, and he had recovered considerably.

Ye Chenhan was still worried and stepped forward to support his arm. "You should go back to your ward and rest."

"Assistant Shen, have you remembered what Ziyu told you last?" Ye Shaoting approached Shen Lin, blocking his path.

With Ye Shaoting's persistent questioning, Shen Lin felt bewildered.

Was this last sentence related to finding someone?

"I haven't remembered it yet," Shen Lin said. "It's also possible that I misremembered."

Ye Shaoting eyed Shen Lin suspiciously; his reply did not convince him.

Things don't happen without a reason. Since he brought it up, there must be something to it.

"Is that so? Then please think about it again. If you remember anything, give me a call. After all, Ziyu's whereabouts are currently unknown, and more clues will help me arrange for people to search for her."

"Please rest assured, Young Master Ye. For my Madam's safety, I will cooperate with you diligently."

At this moment, Shen Lin was as annoying to Ye Shaoting as Di Mingjue.

Stopping his conversation with Shen Lin, Ye Shaoting looked at Ye Chenhan, who was close to Di Mingjue.

He's so good at winning people over!

In such a short time, he had already brought Ye Chenhan to his side. The usually flippant Ye Chenhan was actually so concerned about his affairs.

"Chenhan, are you coming back with me?" Ye Shaoting asked.

"Big brother, you go back first. I'm not going back for now. I still need to pick Xixi up from the police station later." As Ye Chenhan spoke, his gaze remained fixed on Di Mingjue, unwilling to look away.
