"What, you're not going to help your friend take responsibility?" the man asked Gu Xiuyu angrily.
Gu Xiuyu, who was just passing by, fixed his gaze on Shen Lin, quietly waiting for him to handle the situation.
"Sir, if you continue to make trouble, I will call the police. Once they arrive, you'll understand what will happen," Shen Lin said, his voice filled with anger.
The man's intentions were too obvious. He wasn't foolish enough not to see that the man was deliberately stalling him.
The clumsy act was unbearable even for Gu Xiuyu. He glanced at the man and took out his wallet from his pocket.
"Is this enough for a medical examination?"
As soon as the man took the cash, his face broke into a smile. "More than enough."
