It's Valentine's Day today. I ordered flowers for my wife two days in advance, picked them up early this morning, and gave them to her. This is the first time I've given her flowers since I met her. It should have been romantic, right?

But... I got scolded. "You could have bought me something to eat with that money! You can't eat flowers, and the money spent on flowers could have bought a big box of Hershey's and still had some left over!"

I was speechless...

After giving her the flowers, my wife and I took my mother to the hospital to see a doctor. Yesterday, she got a fish bone stuck in her throat. We fussed all morning but don't know if it was taken out or not, but at least it couldn't be seen in the laryngoscope.

I rushed back after ten o'clock to clean the house because guests were coming...

After cleaning, I finally turned on the computer to report my Valentine's Day arrangements to everyone—spending the day competing with a group of authors to see who writes the most words.

The more I write, the more I'll explode with inspiration.
