Evening in Shencheng.
Upon returning home after work, Bai Zhiyuan found herself overwhelmed by the mountain of 'Super Express' deliveries piled at her doorstep.
News had spread by afternoon.
The top 200 players who cleared "Wang Daer and the Colossus" received an official gift: a BT-7274 full-simulation game access pod.
Initially, netizens assumed this device would be similar in size to the VR capsule access pods sold by Bao Xue.
However, once the BT-7274 was assembled, occupying two-thirds of the blogger's living room, they realized how drastically wrong they were.
It was rumored that this device was a scaled-down version, half the size of the BT-7274 in "Titanfall."
One could only imagine that the Titans in the game were at least two stories tall!
These were finished products seen online, yet even with the blogger standing next to the BT for comparison, it wasn't as impactful as seeing the 'Super Express' lying before her eyes!
"This... this is just too big..."
With a slight frown, Bai Zhiyuan's expression turned unnatural. Moving this behemoth into her room was a significant problem.
She lived in a high-end residential area with only one unit per floor, meaning no neighbors to help. Thus, she had to move everything into her room herself.
Including the assembly work... which she had to do personally.
At this moment, she wished she had a man.
She pictured that unrestrained face; he would surely be very skilled at assembling the things he designed.
However...
In reality, when Lu Li returned to his residence, he also found himself with a headache looking at the deliveries stored by his door!
Old Wang had indeed kept his word and arranged a custom version of the BT access pod for him.
With a large rear end, he moved the parts from one box to another into his room.
It took Lu Li a full ten minutes to move all the ten-plus boxes of various sizes into his room.
Fortunately, when he designed it, he had dispersed the BT's assembly parts into smaller components, greatly facilitating the recipient's transportation.
Otherwise, some people living alone might not even be able to move the items into their homes.
He hadn't expected that this convenience-oriented design would indirectly benefit himself.
Was this a case of good deeds being rewarded?
Lu Li touched his nose, thinking self-deprecatingly.
Well, with the BT, he could also experience the charm of the VR version of "Titanfall."
Although Lu Li rarely played games now, his enthusiasm for the BT and the latest VR technology was still very high.
Now, everything was ready, and all that was needed was the east wind.
He had already collected four billion emotional points and only needed a few more days to interact with the super ultimate Jojo version of "Titanfall," and then collect some system-girls' labor fees before June.
Having the system personally handle it, he would perfectly play the role of an emotion-collecting tool.
'Tool' sounded bad; 'capitalist' would be more accurate.
He planned to thoroughly exploit the system-girls' labor value, no, skill value. He hoped that knowing the plot this time, he could still be deeply affected.
To experience that familiar, exclusive childhood taste.
...
Oh dear, why was he thinking about these strange things again!
At the same time, in another corner of the city.
Bai Zhiyuan immediately shook her muddled head, her face blushing as she opened her room door.
Lately, her thoughts had become increasingly unrestrained, her fantasies bolder, feeling a bit strange.
Lu Li's handsome image appeared in her mind rather frequently.
But she couldn't discern what their relationship was.
Netizens?
Confidants?
Like-minded individuals with niche interests?
She also didn't know how Lu Li viewed her, but one thing was certain: this guy was somewhat career-driven.
Since he appeared in her life, Lu Li seemed to have been constantly making games, one project after another.
He had produced one hit game after another with the speed of an assembly line, his success rate astonishing.
In the past two years, he and Ling Jing, the company behind him, had, with the absolute poise of dark horses, stirred up the global gaming industry.
They had led the trend of "torment-style" games and, after surviving market tests, had successfully established a foothold among players.
Countless torment-style games were still vivid in her memory.
"UT," with its dual torment of body and mind, had opened a new world for her, allowing her to experience extreme pleasure for the first time.
"Call of Duty," with its blend of difficulty and plot, coupled with perfectly designed NPCs, had successfully attracted a large number of FPS players.
Finally, with a fatal blow, they taught everyone a lesson, allowing major game developers to find new ideas on "how games can be made this way" for the first time.
This had triggered countless imitation trends, and "killing important characters" had become a very novel gameplay mechanic in the gaming community.
"To the Moon" was self-explanatory; it was the game that made her cry the most and had successfully ignited her deep-seated yearning for emotional connection.
"Dark Souls," as Ling Jing's most representative work, had completely allowed the gaming industry to recognize the cultural depth and absolute strength of Ling Jing, a studio with a profound heritage.
It had also led overseas game manufacturers to put aside their prejudices and re-evaluate the weight of Dragon Country's games in the industry.
"Ark of the End," although she had little interest in mobile games, the fact that it could snatch the lucrative two-dimensional themed game market from Tencent was something that even Bai Zhiyuan had to admire.
This Ling Jing was too all-encompassing; she just didn't know if Lu Li had participated in every aspect.
Including the later productions like "Rebirth Cells Man" and the VR game "Wang Daer and the Colossus," almost every game had withstood market tests.
And with a release speed that even the prolific Yu Bi and Nintendo couldn't match, Bai Zhiyuan even suspected that Ling Jing had official backing.
... While indulging in such reveries and unloading goods into her room, in less than half an hour, Bai Zhiyuan had moved all the parts piled at her door into her room.
"Now for the assembly!"
After dusting off her hands, Bai Zhiyuan pouted slightly with pride, declaring herself a capable Xiao Bai for the day.
At this moment, Bai Zhiyuan, who occasionally indulged her girlish heart, couldn't be happier.
With the help of tutorial videos and step-by-step diagrams resembling martial arts manuals, Bai Zhiyuan spent 2 hours assembling the nearly three-meter-tall steel giant.
Although it was made of high-tech carbon fiber molecular material, the assembled appearance had a perfectly metallic texture.
Bai Zhiyuan walked to the BT's right arm and tapped it a few times, utterly perplexed.
The overall assembly took less than half an hour, with the remaining hour and a half dedicated entirely to assembling this right arm. Pulleys, torques, springs, various mechanical principles, even the law of leverage, were all applied to this right arm.
Bai Zhiyuan couldn't understand why.
Wasn't it just a simulated access pod? Shouldn't the focus be on the access space in the BT's chest being large enough and the posture at the control console being comfortable when logging into VR?
Had the focus been misplaced?
What was the use of the right arm?
To quickly lower players into the cockpit like picking up little children from the ground, recreating classic in-game scenes in reality to enhance player immersion?
Currently, this was the only function Bai Zhiyuan could think of.
Whether it could actually be realized would have to wait until it was powered on and tested.
But even with this function, Bai Zhiyuan still felt it was overkill.
Of course,
As a commemorative gift for the top 200 players who cleared the game, a little extravagance was acceptable.
It was possible that this feature would be removed for future sales.
It was truly difficult to guess the thoughts of that scoundrel. Bai Zhiyuan racked her brain but couldn't figure out the purpose of this flexibly moving right arm.
Deciding not to waste any more time here,
Bai Zhiyuan, sweaty from exertion, took a refreshing hot shower and drifted off to a peaceful sleep.
As a chosen worker, she still had to complete the final scene rendering for Tencent's "Shen Zhan," scheduled for release in June.
As for that silly right arm, she didn't care!
While she didn't care, players online were in an uproar.
"Ling Jing is playing really big, a super large access pod occupying ten cubic meters!!"
"The manufacturing cost must start at fifty thousand, and the selling price at least a hundred thousand?"
"A hundred thousand yuan for an access pod that automatically brings you into the cockpit, half-automated at that, are people just burning money?"
"Bao Xue's hundred-thousand-yuan capsule-type access pod is technological innovation, while Ling Jing's hundred-thousand-yuan BT-7274 full-simulation access pod is just burning money. Anything foreign is good, huh?"
"That's typical of double-standard dogs."
"Don't underestimate this rotatable right arm. I just checked online and found that it utilizes hundreds of high-precision parts and mechanical principles. Don't think it's easy for the blogger to assemble; the manufacturer has already pre-assembled the intricate parts. Do you still think a hundred thousand yuan for this hunk of metal is expensive?"
"Stop arguing, stop arguing, the official price is out!"
...
As soon as the news broke, netizens became restless.
They rushed to Ling Jing's official Weibo.
Upon seeing that the BT-7274 access pod was priced at only 50,000 yuan each, many people were tempted and immediately added it to their shopping carts.
Then, upon seeing that it was limited to 50,000 units globally and would be released on May 15th, they immediately set a hundred alarms for 11 PM on May 14th.
What a joke, the official was practically giving money away!
The market price for the limited edition "Iron Cadre" had already risen from 20,000 to 30,000 yuan. After the "Titanfall" trailer was released, it even rose to 40,000 yuan each, and they were hard to find.
Ling Jing genuinely didn't intend to make money by selling equipment.
With the release of this BT, it was not an exaggeration to say that the price would instantly surge to a hundred thousand!
Not taking advantage of this bargain would be foolish!
Of course, all of this depended on "Titanfall" becoming a huge hit as a VR title.
However, netizens clearly had immense faith in Ling Jing.
"Ling Jing's productions are all masterpieces!"
This saying was not mere idle talk; it was a reputation built from multiple games.
Time flew by as netizens counted down the days.
Soon, May 14th arrived.
The搶 (qiǎng - rush to buy) could begin at midnight, and everyone was already waiting at their computers; it was time to test their speed.
One billion netizens scrambling for fifty thousand units of equipment.
Frankly, the probability of this was only slightly higher than winning the lottery.
"Pah, pah, darling, watch my luck!"
Tang Wanqiu sat in front of the computer, rubbing his hands vigorously. Their family already had one BT, but facing an item that could appreciate in value, who wouldn't want to try their luck?
If they managed to snatch one, they could easily make a fifty-thousand-yuan profit!
"Honey, are you sure this can be resold for ten thousand yuan each?" Chen Yingying was still somewhat uneasy.
"Of course. Check online if you don't believe me, see how much the Iron Cadres are going for now." Tang Wanqiu replied leisurely before the time arrived.
"Hiss!!"
Upon hearing Tang Wanqiu's words, Chen Yingying opened her phone, and upon seeing the search results, couldn't help but gasp, "It's... it's forty-two thousand... Oh my, everyone is so rich!"
"It's not that everyone is rich, but Ling Jing's VR headsets are in short supply and of high quality. It's said that they were manufactured by professional mentors from Tsinghua and Peking Universities."
Tang Wanqiu recounted the market news to his wife like a connoisseur: "Moreover, both the Iron Cadre helmets and the BT are linked products for Ling Jing's latest VR game, 'Titanfall'."
"There's no need for anyone to promote it; Ling Jing's golden brand name alone will naturally drive up the price!"
"Forty thousand... a hundred thousand..." Chen Yingying counted on her fingers, her eyes widening, "Fourteen thousand? Honey, we now have an asset of fourteen thousand!"
"Mmm!" Tang Wanqiu leaned back casually and nodded with composure.
"Yay yay yay!!" Chen Yingying excitedly pounced on him, "Honey, you're amazing, you're so capable! Our family has gained an extra income!"
"The capable part is yet to come." He patted his wife's derrière, "Move over a bit, I need to get to work."
"Ah... this... it's not good, in the living room..." Chen Yingying was a bit shy for a moment, "How about we go back to bed?"
"What are you thinking? I mean your butt is blocking my view. I need to check the time, we're about to start抢 (qiǎng)." Tang Wanqiu said with a hint of amusement, "What posture are you imagining?"
"Eeeek—"
Blushing, Chen Yingying got up and ran into the bedroom, burying her head in the pillow like an ostrich.
How embarrassing!
Although they were an old married couple, that sense of shyness still lingered.
Thinking that she had misunderstood, Chen Yingying's face turned even redder.
"Ooh ooh ooh ooh... Oh, super!!!"
A few minutes later, Chen Yingying, still shy, heard a shout from the living room.
Tap tap tap!!
The sound of slippers approached, "I got it, darling!!"
"Hahahaha!!!"
"Let me reward you!!"
"Mmm~"
"Gently~"
...
"Damn it!!"
"I can't believe this!!"
"I didn't get it!"
The gap between people was not ordinary. While one side was filled with affection, Mo Zhi was furious enough to revert to primal instincts!
Having not made it into the top 200 and missing out on the BT access pod, Mo Zhi, who was already unwilling, had put all her effort into抢 (qiǎng) this pre-sale.
As a result, her luck was just that bad.
Even trying to win by luck, she was a complete black cat, not getting anything at all.
'Hahaha, as expected of a jinxed streamer, your luck is truly terrible.'
'Oh dear, streamer, how did you know I managed to get a BT-7274 full simulation access pod?'
'High-priced resale of BT access pod, 150,000 yuan fixed price, it might even go up later!'
'Conspiracy! Conspiracy!!'
'I want to report you, I want to report Ling Jing for hunger marketing!'
'He's flustered, he's flustered!'
'No one's forcing you to buy, you know. Wangyi and Penguin next door are also having their pre-sale today, and I see they still have stock. Why not buy theirs if you didn't get one? What's the big deal.'
...
Water friends were arguing heatedly in the livestream room; not everyone could rationally deal with this pre-sale.
Ling Jing's pre-sale had been as fair as possible. Besides the timing, they also implemented an equal probability of winning, similar to new stock offerings, allocated by chance.
"Everyone, stop arguing. The price is determined by the market. I know why those who didn't get it are angry."
Mo Zhi waved her hand, "It's not poverty that causes discontent, but inequality."
"But this is inherently a lottery, and if the probabilities are equal, you can only blame your own bad luck."
Mo Zhi didn't explain much. This was Ling Jing's way of giving back to the vast number of players.
It was just that those who couldn't buy it were destined to be without the BT.
They hadn't lost anything.
If anything was a loss, it was her potential loss from not having a BT access pod.
Mo Zhi planned to stream "Titanfall" first in June. Having a BT simulation access pod would make the livestream effect explosive.
Her demand for the BT was very high, but others who didn't stream also had high demand.
This item had been tacitly recognized as a valuable commodity and was being speculated upon. Missing the pre-sale meant having to buy it at a higher price through other channels.
Mo Zhi was already planning to find a BT on the second-hand market and welcome the VR game era of June.
After ending the stream.
Mo Zhi thought for a moment and finally found Chen Yingying's contact information in WeChat.
[Excuse me, do you have a BT for sale?]
She asked tentatively. This player who had previously sold her "Ark of the End" might have successfully ranked among the top 200 in "Wang Daer and the Colossus" with her skills, and might have a BT.
Chen Yingying, who had just finished her battle, saw the WeChat message and her face flushed as she crawled out of the covers.
Upon seeing Mo Zhi's purchase request, she immediately broke into a smile.
"Honey, honey, look, business is here!"
"Oh... mm...~" came Tang Wanqiu's muffled voice, sounding weak.
"Oh dear, hurry up and analyze it, what's a suitable price."
[Let's go by the current market price of 150,000 yuan!]
As she spoke, another message came from Mo Zhi.
"Wow!!!"
"Deal!!"
Fearing that Mo Zhi would change her mind, Chen Yingying immediately agreed, making a profit of 100,000 yuan!
Ling Jing is truly a great benefactor!
...
Mo Zhi, upon receiving Chen Yingying's reply, was also overjoyed.
She hadn't expected her to actually have one!
And so promptly!
This item would definitely be put to full use in her hands, she trusted Ling Jing.
A week later,
Mo Zhi successfully received the goods shipped by the official, and Chen Yingying's side directly wrote Mo Zhi's home as the shipping address.
That's how extravagant they were.
After assembling the BT, Mo Zhi used the BT access pod to stream the airport trial of "Stellar" to pass the time.
Another week and three days later.
June arrived.
On this sunny morning.
Mo Zhi woke up early. After her morning run, she walked to the BT-7274 and said, "BT, prepare for battle."
[Received, Mo Zhi.]
A synthesized mechanical voice came from the mecha, followed by the BT's large hand grasping and easily placing Mo Zhi into the cockpit in its chest.
[Good morning, Mo Zhi. It feels like autumn after just one day apart.]
"BT, you're becoming more sensible." Sitting in the cockpit, Mo Zhi skillfully operated the touch screen before her.
Open the livestream room.
Open the Ling Jing game platform.
Download "Titanfall"!
That's right, today, "Titanfall" is officially launched!
[Mo Zhi, "Titanfall" download successful, do you wish to enter the VR game?]
BT's voice inquired, and Mo Zhi replied, "Enter the game!"
[Mo Zhi, your physical condition is very healthy, allowing you to enter the VR game. Please find a comfortable position to lie down, put on your Iron Cadre helmet, and we will prepare to fight together.]
"Okay, let's go!!"
...
(A 6,000-character chapter; I got carried away and updated a bit late.)
ps: A short interlude connecting to the previous chapter↑:
The sales representative on the phone said, "Brother, I thought you weren't buying it after you left during the day, so we'll proceed according to what was discussed in the store earlier."
I replied, "Mmm, okay."
Sales Rep (reluctantly): "Well, I'm not sure if the black one you wanted is still available. Let me check for you. How about you pay a deposit? I'll tell the boss to reserve this car for you?"
Me: "No need for a deposit. I'm definitely picking up the car this week. Don't worry, I'll buy it."
Sales Rep: "Alright then..."
Three minutes later, the sales rep called again: "Brother, the black one was just sold. How about you switch to a Polar Night Silver? Or another color?"
Me: "Ah... so quickly?" (It was all a tactic; I actually believed him then. What a fool.)
Sales Rep sighed: "I told you earlier, if you paid a deposit, I could have reserved the car for you. That's the market situation now."
Me, confused: "Ah... so what do we do?" (Considering going to other 4S stores or other car brands.)
Sales Rep hesitated: "How about this, the next batch of cars will be shipped by next week at the latest. You can pick it up then. For now, you can pay a deposit, and I'll keep the car for you."
"Or, do you want the white one? I have a customer who ordered white, and they haven't picked it up yet. I'll reserve this white one for you and discuss with my client so they can pick it up with the next batch of cars."
Me, grateful: "Ah, thank you, brother. White is fine too, plus two thousand yuan, right?"
"Mmm, I told you, sincerity for sincerity. I've kept the price for you. The Double 12 discount for today has passed, so please don't stand me up tomorrow." (I believed the great swindler.)
"What about the plan discussed during the day? How about you pay a deposit, so I can explain it to the boss..." (The daytime plan was 90,000 over three years. He said it would be difficult for me as a freelancer to get a loan, and three years might not be enough, but five years would be easier to repay in advance. I insisted on three years, and he vaguely agreed, not giving a definite answer, saying it needed to be handled at the bank. Note: this is where the details are meticulous!)
Me, in great distress: "No deposit. I'll find some time tomorrow to get the procedures done in one day. You know my sincerity. I even took the earliest high-speed train here this morning."
"Fine, come over when you wake up tomorrow."
After hanging up the phone, I went to the hotel where I was staying. Before sleeping, I truly tossed and turned, unable to sleep. I had a feeling that this deal wasn't going very smoothly. /
I felt very uncomfortable, yet I didn't have many options. At that moment, I even considered biting the bullet and buying an electric car beyond my budget because the driving experience of the domestic electric car I test-drove during the day was really great!
That night, I suffered from insomnia until 3:30 in the morning before finally drifting off. At 9:30 AM, after washing up, I rushed to the store.
Upon arriving at the store, the most exciting part came!
That scoundrel made me wait in the lobby for about half an hour again before he leisurely sauntered over (in fact, I didn't pay much attention to these details at the time, and only later did I realize how impolite he actually was). He immediately wanted me to sign the contract.
He seemed to be in a hurry. I waved my hand and said, "Wait, let's discuss it further."
He frowned, impatient, "What else is there to discuss? What else do you not understand?"
"Just to discuss..." I asked him the questions I had listed on the way, "Will the 360 be included? Will the loan be registered on the green book? Can I see the car? What's the full payment price?"
Then, he answered them. When it came to the loan, he calculated the loan price for me, "Ninety thousand, five years..."
"Wait..." I interrupted him, "Five years? Not three years?"
"Didn't you agree to five years on the phone yesterday?" he retorted.
"Me? When did I agree? I only said we'd proceed according to what was discussed during the day. You also said three years was possible during the day, and I can only accept three years."
He retorted, "Three years is not possible. It's five years as agreed."
I asked, "Then with a landing price of 197,000, and 90,000 over five years with over 20,000 in interest alone, I'd be buying it for 220,000, which I can't accept. It's no different from back home."
"Oh, you..." He looked at me with an expression of disappointment, pointing at the contract, "Why are you like this?"
He got up and left.
I was already annoyed. Five years. I intended to let the loan go slightly to make your performance look better and for both of us to be happy.
Instead, you want to drain me dry. Since I couldn't accept the price for a five-year loan, if I didn't take the 90,000 loan, his landing price wouldn't be discounted as much.
Therefore, I had already decided to look at other places. However, two minutes later, the scoundrel came back.
"How do you want to buy it?" His tone was slightly softer, perhaps seeing my firm stance and wanting to concede a little.
At this point, my head was already aching from the installment plan, and I felt disheartened. I no longer intended to give the sales rep any concessions. I directly asked, "What's the full payment price here?"
"204,000 or 205,000," he replied after a pause, "205,000."
"Fine!" I slapped the table. Let's go with 205,000, I want to pay in full.
"Full payment?" He looked at me in disbelief, "Forget it, we can't sell it with full payment."
He turned and walked away without looking back.
Very emotional.
At this point, it was already noon, damn it, they didn't even invite me to lunch at the store.
To be honest,
I had a biased view of this sales rep. It was because of him that I came to the provincial capital from my hometown to buy a car. It was also because of him that I witnessed the promotional discounts in the provincial capital were greater and more cost-effective than in my hometown.
Moreover, he had been using moral blackmail on me. At that time, I didn't realize it was moral blackmail; I just felt he was treating me well, so I tolerated his attitude and wasn't angry, just regretful that the deal didn't go through.
Only later did I realize this was blatant moral blackmail.
I wondered why I felt so gloomy during those two days. The car purchase had even made me a bit depressed.
I even considered going back to my hometown to buy it from a car dealership for 205,000 in full payment.
I didn't know much about car quality at the dealership, but it was definitely not as reliable as a 4S store. I wouldn't go to a dealership as a last resort.
So,
Being lazy, I embarked on my journey again and visited two other 4S stores.
The results were turning around!
At the third 4S store, after negotiation, the car could be purchased in full for 203,000, and there was a car in stock... I still didn't pay a deposit and left after the discussion.
They only gave me floor mats and window film, no dashcam.
I had originally planned to buy it at this store. Although they gave fewer gifts, I was quite satisfied to be able to pick up the car in full payment from a 4S store.
However, I still didn't feel happy about this transaction.
At this point, there was only one last 4S store left to visit. I saw that it was only past 4 PM, and it was just a few stops away, so I went to the last 4S store.
I had an appointment with the sales representative via an app. When I arrived, this sales representative was waiting for me at the entrance of the 4S store. He asked if I had an appointment with a sales rep. I showed him the chat records.
He said it was him, and I looked like the client he was waiting for. (He waited in advance; regardless of anything else, this detail was very thoughtful, giving me a feeling of being valued. I had appointments at the previous three stores as well, but none of them offered such treatment.)
The perception improved, and the negotiation went smoothly. I learned the discount for full payment, the discounted bare car price, and then how much tax, insurance, and the 130 yuan license plate fee I needed to pay based on the bare car price.
These fees were very clear and transparent. In the end, the landing price was around 200,600.
At that moment, I was stunned, you know?
I even suspected they were a dealership and that the car wasn't sourced from a legitimate place. Then he showed me their store's authorization information.
Only then did I feel at ease. Due to the late hour, I couldn't complete the procedures that day, so he asked me to pay a deposit. He also said it was fine not to pay, but the price might fluctuate after a meeting tonight. Therefore, with a deposit, I could get the price from today tomorrow.
After all, car prices fluctuate daily, so it's hard to say. Then I still didn't pay a deposit. The reason I gave was that he expressed understanding. I said, "Brother, trust me, I'll come to pick it up tomorrow."
We've talked for so long, and our sincerity is sufficient. I genuinely want to pick it up from his store. We talked for about two hours, and it was already dark.
Finally, he didn't accept my deposit but kept the price for me. As he left, he even drove me to the subway station because his store was a bit out of the way, and I needed to take a bus to the subway station to get to where I lived.
And he also said that he would pick me up at the subway station exit tomorrow.
That night, I slept early.
It couldn't be said to be a very satisfying transaction, but compared to my previous experiences, I was quite content with this one.
Exhausted, I really didn't want to run around anymore. This was the most suitable store among all the 4S stores for this model that I had visited in two cities. You know, I was willing to pay 205,000 in full payment that morning.
Unfortunately, the first sales rep, upon hearing that I intended to pay in full, left without looking back.
This was my car purchasing experience over the past three days.
I picked up the car on the third day. Because this sales rep was indeed very good and responsible, the car purchasing process was exceptionally smooth. He didn't rush me to wake up early; I could wake up naturally and go. The procedures were easy to handle and didn't take much time.
At noon, he invited me to lunch. After three days, I finally ate lunch, devouring two large bowls of white rice, which was incredibly delicious!
After picking up the car, the sales rep's attitude remained good; there was no sign of him turning his back on me. He was truly good.
On the fifth day, he took me to get the license plates. I had contracted COVID-19, so he asked his colleague to help me with it. His colleague was also a good person, and the entire process went smoothly.
On the sixth day, my friend drove the car from the provincial capital to my hometown.
On the seventh day, after sending off my friend, I resumed my updates.
This was my entire car purchasing experience.
I wrote so many words, but regardless, I felt deeply touched.
There were so many tactics. It's really not easy to find a good sales rep when buying a big item. When I buy things, I can compromise and let you make money, but I need to buy what's suitable.
The first three sales reps I encountered, the first one probably relied on my susceptibility to his moral blackmail, thinking that not buying from him would be ungrateful. He was successful throughout; he blackmailed me.
But I have my principles. I just didn't want to loan, and he insisted on giving me such a high loan for such a long term, which directly crossed my bottom line. Therefore, I directly stopped considering installments and decided on full payment.
If he wouldn't sell it to me with full payment, I wouldn't buy it. I'd switch to another place. Moral blackmail, get lost!
After getting out of the moral blackmail trap, diligence is still required.
I was just thinking about saving trouble and reducing the number of trips, which almost led me to a big loss. I didn't even research models other than this one, resulting in me being anxious and stressed because I couldn't find satisfactory alternatives.
I suggest everyone definitely not be lazy when buying big items. Comparing prices from multiple sources is truly necessary. (Rich people can ignore this.)
Also, don't be fooled by sales reps' "I did this for you..." type of moral blackmail tactics. We are consumers; we are the ones spending money. What they do is what they should do because you are consuming from them, and they get commissions. You are right to be a demanding customer.
Don't be too kind-hearted; they can be ruthless when trying to cheat you, to the point where they'd climb onto your neck and suck your blood.
Also, watch fewer online tutorial warning videos. While they seem helpful, they're actually of no help when you actually encounter a situation.
Practice more; practice leads to true knowledge.
That's all, everyone can just have a good laugh. Keep these in mind when buying big items in the future, and these thousands of words will have served their purpose.
Life is truly interesting.
There's knowledge everywhere. For a shut-in like me who rarely leaves home, there are many things to learn. I should go out more often and not become out of sync with the world.
Starting tomorrow, I will officially delve into the game content of "Titanfall." Afterwards, I will decide whether to conclude it early and start a new book based on the data.
Honestly, with the current lackluster data, I have no passion for writing, which is why I only write so little every day.
I feel like my writing is less inspired than just chatting.
Hahahaha.
That's all, I'm going to sleep!
