The doctor’s heart pounded. He could only nod in agreement, “Don’t worry, I will definitely call him. Is that enough?”
Ye Qiang pointed at his nose and roared, “I’m warning you again, if the divine doctor you mentioned can’t come, I won’t just tear you apart, I’ll bring ruin to your hospital!”
One of the henchmen jabbed his fist in front of the doctor’s face a few times, “The Black Tiger Gang is not to be trifled with. This is our boss’s son, you’d better take this seriously!”
The doctor nodded repeatedly and scurried out of the ward.
After leaving, he went straight to the dean’s office.
“Dean, you must save me, I’ve gotten into serious trouble this time!” the doctor blurted out, rushing in, tears streaming down his face.
A white-haired, rosy-cheeked elder in a white lab coat frowned, “What’s wrong? Weren’t you just at the hospital? Did you have a dispute with a family member?”
Medical disputes were common in hospitals, and usually, nothing major happened.
But the real trouble was that the other party was the leader of the Black Tiger Gang. They knew how ruthless these people who licked blood from the tip of a blade were.
If his son couldn’t be saved, he feared the gang leader would stop at nothing to cause trouble, and then this medical dispute would turn deadly.
The doctor recounted everything that had just happened.
“So, Dean, you absolutely must find a way to invite Divine Doctor Mu! Only he can save me and the hospital now!”
The dean’s face turned serious, his expression grave. “This is indeed tricky, but I don’t know this Divine Doctor Mu. Who in the entire Chinese medicine hospital can get in touch with such a big figure?”
“Then what should we do?” The doctor, terrified, slumped onto the floor. He was already planning to pack his bags and hide somewhere for a while.
“Alas, I suppose I’ll have to try and find a way to contact Divine Doctor Mu through someone!”
And so, the dean began making calls. Fortunately, someone quickly sent him Mu Feng’s phone number.
It was already afternoon, and Mu Feng was sound asleep in his hotel room.
He had planned to go back, but his car had been smashed. He intended to buy a new car from a dealership later, and now was the time to catch up on sleep.
Suddenly, an urgent phone call interrupted his pleasant dream.
Mu Feng stretched, fumbling on the bedside table to find his phone.
“Hello? Who is it? What’s the matter?” he asked, sounding slightly annoyed.
“Hello, Divine Doctor Mu, I am Zhang Haiwen, the Dean of Huizhou Chinese Medicine Hospital!”
Huizhou was a second-tier city in China, and Huizhou Chinese Medicine Hospital was a well-deserved Grade III Class A hospital.
When the dean of a Grade III Class A hospital called him, he quickly became serious.
After all, if there was an emergency requiring his attention, such as mass food poisoning, it could lead to many casualties.
“Hello, Dean Zhang, what is it?” he asked politely.
“It’s like this, I have several patients here who have suffered severe knife wounds, and our hospital is unable to treat them. So, we’d like to ask for your help!” Zhang Haiwen’s attitude was exceptionally humble, as if afraid the other party wouldn’t come.
Mu Feng frowned, “That’s strange, how did you know I was in Huizhou?”
Zhang Haiwen, on the other end of the line, was so excited he was about to cry. He couldn’t believe it, “Is it such a coincidence? You are actually in Huizhou?”
“I happened to be here handling some matters. Since it’s so close, please ask Dean Zhang to send a car to pick me up!”
After all, he was in an unfamiliar place, and his car was smashed and ruined. It was more convenient to have a dedicated car service.
“Of course, certainly. Where are you? We’ll come to pick you up right away!”
And so, Mu Feng told him his location.
About ten minutes later, a black sedan stopped downstairs at the hotel.
When Mu Feng got downstairs, he saw a doctor in a white lab coat rushing to greet him with tears in his eyes, “Oh my God, it’s really Divine Doctor Mu! I never thought I’d get to see you in person!”
“Ahem, I didn’t realize I was so famous!” he coughed.
“Of course, you are! When Divine Doctor Mu makes a move, even the dead can be brought back to life. This way, please!”
This doctor was the one threatened by the Black Tiger Gang. Upon seeing Mu Feng, he felt as if he had grasped a lifeline.
Soon, Mu Feng arrived at Huizhou Chinese Medicine Hospital.
Outside the emergency hall of the Chinese medicine hospital, Dean Zhang Haiwen was anxiously waiting.
Upon seeing that Mu Feng had indeed arrived, he immediately ran over excitedly and extended his hand, “Welcome, Divine Doctor Mu, to our Chinese medicine hospital for guidance!”
“Guidance is too much. Where are the patients? I’ll go take a look!” Mu Feng shook his hand.
“It is truly a great effort, Divine Doctor Mu. Please come this way…” Zhang Haiwen saw a savior and bowed deeply.
At the same time, in a ward, a middle-aged man with a full beard was making a loud commotion.
“What’s wrong with your hospital? When is that guy surnamed Mu coming? I’m telling you, if my son’s condition is delayed, I’ll chop off that Divine Doctor Mu’s head! Hurry up and urge them, damn it, what kind of people are they?” This middle-aged man was none other than the leader of the Black Tiger Gang.
Several medical staff were terrified and hurriedly explained, “Divine Doctor Mu is already on his way. Please wait a moment!”
“I can’t wait any longer. When he gets here, I’ll have to give him a good talking-to!”
In the middle-aged man’s eyes, everyone should revolve around him. He harbored not a shred of gratitude in his heart.
Soon, the sound of footsteps could be heard. When the medical staff saw that Mu Feng had actually arrived, a huge burden was lifted from them.
Soon, Mu Feng entered the ward accompanied by the dean.
However, when he saw the young man lying on the hospital bed, sound asleep, he couldn’t help but chuckle.
This fellow, whose ear had been cut off, was one of the thugs who had smashed his car. He didn’t expect them to be here.
But Mu Feng didn’t mind. After all, he had promised the dean, and he should help. He wasn’t someone who held grudges.
However, the middle-aged man’s next words and actions left him utterly stunned.
The middle-aged man strode forward, pointed at Mu Feng’s nose, and yelled, “You are that Divine Doctor Mu?”
Mu Feng nodded slightly, “Yes, what about it?”
“Kneel!” The middle-aged man uttered two words, speaking in an almost commanding tone.
The medical staff were all startled and glared at him angrily.
What was Mu Feng’s status? Their hospital had gone to great lengths and incurred many favors to invite him.
Instead of being grateful, this family member was demanding that he kneel upon arrival? What kind of logic was that?
Seeing that Mu Feng didn’t react, the middle-aged man shouted again, “I told you to kneel. Are you deaf and can’t hear me?”
