Chapter 431 Huang He Repairs Computers

“Your Highness, where is your computer?” Upon arriving at Princess Stephanie’s residence, Huang He prepared to fix the computer.

Initially, Huang He had no intention of coming. How could he, a distinguished magnate, engage in the task of repairing computers?

The issue, however, was that when Huang He inquired about the reward Princess Stephanie required, she very readily stated that she only needed Huang He to fix her computer.

In Huang He’s estimation, this Princess Stephanie was showing him considerable respect. After all, the princess had just claimed a queen’s title, yet she only asked for her computer to be fixed. This was almost equivalent to her freely bestowing a colossal favor upon Huang He.

Therefore, Huang He found himself unable to refuse. He figured it was just computer repair, and his computer repair skills from his previous life were quite good. As long as it wasn’t a physical part that was damaged, he could still fix it. Thus, Huang He ascended to Princess Stephanie’s floor to help her fix her computer.

Princess Stephanie resided in a high-end apartment in Paris, located on the 17th floor. The entire floor was dedicated to Princess Stephanie’s rooms, which was fitting for a princess’s stature.

Huang He wanted to finish repairing the computer quickly and return. The entire day had exhausted him. After confirming the computer was in Princess Stephanie’s study, Huang He bustled off to work. Princess Stephanie, meanwhile, stated that she needed to take a bath first.

Huang He didn’t ponder what taking a bath at this hour might imply. Instead, he entered the study as quickly as possible and found the computer that was said to crash immediately upon booting.

“Huh, why is this study like a bedroom!” Huang He discovered that apart from a computer, Princess Stephanie’s study was virtually indistinguishable from a bedroom. It contained a large bed that looked incredibly comfortable, making one want to lie down on it immediately.

Huang He shook his head, discarding some nascent inappropriate thoughts, and then swiftly powered on the computer.

According to Princess Stephanie, the computer’s problem was that a few minutes after booting, it would freeze and require a restart.

Logically, such a problem clearly indicated a system issue, which could be resolved by reinstalling the system.

However, the current computer system was Windows XP. Reinstalling the operating system typically required a system disk, and such a reinstallation would take at least half an hour, possibly one to two hours if any issues arose. It was simply too time-consuming.

Furthermore, this would also delete the data on the C drive.

Therefore, Huang He decided to boot up the computer first to check the system’s condition, see if any system files were missing, and if he could download files from the internet to restore the system.

However, as the computer slowly powered on and displayed the desktop, Huang He suddenly felt a bit overwhelmed.

This was because Princess Stephanie’s desktop wallpaper was a personal photo of Princess Stephanie herself.

Of course, there was nothing wrong with the princess setting her own photograph as her desktop wallpaper. The issue was that this photograph was artistic, an artistic nude, one that showcased the charm of a female human to its fullest extent.

Looking at the fair-skinned, plump peach on the screen, Huang He suddenly felt his throat dry.

“Ahem, repairing the computer! I’m here to repair the computer!” Huang He quickly reminded himself, then began running some programs on the computer to trigger the bug that caused it to freeze every five minutes or so, hoping to identify missing files through system prompts and then proceed with the repair.

Thus, Huang He stared at the artistic photo on the desktop for a full ten minutes, but the computer showed no signs of crashing.

What was going on?

“Mr. Huang, has the computer been fixed?” Princess Stephanie’s lazy voice came from behind him.

“Not yet!” Huang He was startled and quickly opened the browser, intending to hide the desktop. However, he heard Princess Stephanie exclaim, “Oh dear, Mr. Huang, you saw my desktop?”

“Ahem, it’s nothing, I understand. This is art!” Huang He said somewhat awkwardly, then noticed that Princess Stephanie seemed to be wearing only a bathrobe at that moment.

“But that’s my private photo! It’s meant only for me to see. I secretly took it without my father and mother’s knowledge. If they knew I had taken such photos, they would disown me!” Princess Stephanie looked at Huang He, on the verge of tears.

“Then what should we do?” Huang He swallowed.

“Then let me see yours too, and we’ll be even!” Princess Stephanie’s lips curved into a smile.

Wait, there was such a thing?

Before Huang He could react, Princess Stephanie’s bathrobe slid down.

—————

“You slept with that woman, Stephanie?” The next day, Huang He, who had sneakily returned to the hotel, was caught red-handed by Princess Vivian!

There was no way around it; the child was waiting right outside Huang He’s room, and he couldn’t get past her.

“Ahem, this is a matter for adults. Children shouldn’t interfere!” Huang He coughed and said.

“All you men are bad!” Princess Vivian said indignantly. “I was here first, but that woman got to you first!”

“Uh, Your Highness, how old are you?” Huang He tapped Princess Vivian’s head, then continued, “Also, I am a very terrible, ordinary man. And I have a wife in China, so I am a complete scumbag. Princess, you should study hard and put this scumbag aside!”

“I won’t!” Vivian stomped her foot in anger. “Huang He, how much do you charge per night? Name your price!”

“Hu Jing, call Mr. Kiel and the two maids over. Tell them that Princess Vivian is very tired and needs to rest!” Huang He rolled his eyes.

“They’ve been waiting downstairs! I’ll ask them to come up right away!” Hu Jing replied.

Then Princess Vivian was unceremoniously taken away by three servants.

“Boss, this is rare. This Princess Vivian is several times more beautiful than Princess Stephanie from last night, and I see she’s still a maiden. You’re letting her go when she’s actively offering herself to you!” Hu Jing suddenly teased after Vivian had left.

Well, this secretary was becoming increasingly impudent.

“Sigh!” Hearing Hu Jing’s words, Huang He sighed and said, “They are not the same. Princess Stephanie is highly skilled and experienced. We merely shared an enjoyable moment together! Beyond that, there is no other relationship! Neither of us will have any psychological burden, as if we had just watched a movie.”

“But Vivian is different. I truly consider her a sister and a friend. I cannot make a move on her, do you understand?” Huang He asked.

“Oh, so Qu Wei is not your friend either?” Hu Jing suddenly asked.

“……” Huang He froze for a moment, then glanced at Hu Jing. “You know about this too? I remember clearly telling you to handle that matter…”

“That idiot Qu Wei, she wore her stockings inside out and didn’t even realize it!” Hu Jing said nonchalantly.

“Cough cough!” Huang He coughed a few more times. “Qu Wei and I are indeed not friends. We are in a superior-subordinate relationship. It is inevitable for superiors and subordinates to engage in friendly technical exchanges.”

“Then you and I are also superior and subordinate. Does that mean you also…” Hu Jing suddenly asked in a seductive tone, licking her lips.

“No… what’s wrong with all of you… why does everyone want to devour me? Am I made of Tang Monk’s flesh?” Huang He felt like crying. The demanding princess last night had wanted him four times, and his legs were about to break.

“You are not Tang Monk, but I am not a monk either!” Hu Jing regained her usual impassive expression. “Boss, I watch you eating everywhere every day, and I get hungry too!”

After speaking, Hu Jing quietly left, leaving a somewhat bewildered Huang He behind.

“Meow, did Paris really become the city of romance? Does everyone who comes here get love-struck?” Huang He didn’t have much time to ponder this question. He was indeed extremely tired and fell asleep as soon as he got into bed. When he woke up, it was already evening.

“Boss!” As soon as he opened his eyes, he saw Hu Jing standing by his bedside.

“You didn’t…” Huang He felt his body, his energy had been fully restored, and there was no pain downstairs. Everything should be fine.

“Boss, news has come from America that Google plans to announce its new market report the day after tomorrow!” Hu Jing reported.

“Is that so? Have they finally finished the statistics?” Huang He immediately sat up from the bed and took the report sent by Google from Hu Jing’s hand.

This was Google’s market research report, which was not scheduled to be publicly released until the day after tomorrow. However, as a shareholder holding 20% of the company’s shares, Huang He naturally had access to the detailed contents of this report in advance.

“It seems we can make our move!” Huang He chuckled and then said decisively, “Give Little Swift the order to proceed according to the plan!”

—————

As Paris sank into the night, it was the fiercest afternoon sun in America.

In fact, a great cheer erupted in the Nasdaq stock market in America.

This was because, at this moment, numerous traders had witnessed a stock making history.

That was Yahoo’s total market capitalization, which, at 3:12 PM this afternoon, successfully broke through 150 billion US dollars, becoming the fifth electronic technology company in America to surpass a total market capitalization of 150 billion US dollars, and also the first pure internet company in all of America to break through a total market capitalization of 150 billion US dollars.

That is, a company that did not include any physical production or sales of internet-related physical products, but solely relied on virtual network operations, had achieved a total market capitalization exceeding 150 billion US dollars.

And just two months ago, Yahoo’s market value had hovered around 120 billion US dollars. In two months, it had increased by 30 billion US dollars.

At this moment, history was indeed being made.
