"You think I'm heartless?"
Su Yue was silenced by his retort, and dejectedly let go of him, picking up a pair of slippers and placing them by his feet.
She then walked towards the dining table, leaving him with her back, "Come eat, Director Chen, who needs coaxing."
Chen Ziming bent down to change his slippers, and as he lowered his head, he finally smiled.
When he stood up again, his face had returned to its usual calm. He glanced around her home without a word.
The original wood style, clean and warm.
Thoughtful little designs were everywhere, along with cute items that girls liked.
But what brought him joy were the photo frames placed beside the TV cabinet.
They were all taken by her photographer.
As Su Yue was pouring soy milk, she subtly glanced at the man. Seeing that he had noticed the photo frames, she let out a sigh of relief.
These were rushed by her for the shop, thinking that she could lure him home on Saturday and make him happy.
From her understanding of him, he should be in a good mood at this moment.
"Director Chen, would you like a closer look? My bedroom is even better." She rested her arms on the dining table, standing there, smiling with immense warmth.
Chen Ziming finally looked at her. "You wish."
Su Yue thought to herself, just endure it, see how long you can hold out.
On the surface, she continued to smile radiantly, "Okay, but do you want to come and eat or not? It'll get cold if you don't eat soon."
He paused for another second before walking towards the dining table.
He sat opposite her again.
Su Yue sighed silently in her heart. She took the initiative to go around him, stuffed a meat bun into his hand, and handed him chopsticks.
She also checked his fingers.
Very good, the ring was on.
"Does it taste good?" she asked, tilting her head and smiling.
"If it's good, it's because your mother made it. What's with that smug look?"
Su Yue: ...
She decided to stop talking.
After breakfast, she cleared the table.
Chen Ziming sat in the dining room, and from his angle, he could see her wearing gloves and an apron as she washed dishes.
He did not go over to help.
Because he had selfish intentions.
He wanted, just this once, to watch her do housework and experience this reassuring sense of tranquil, peaceful times.
His fingers unconsciously fiddled with the ring on his finger.
Two years had passed.
His moon had finally returned.

At the 4S dealership.
Upon learning that he was coming to pick up the car, the President of the domestic division had been waiting there since early morning.
"Could this be the reporter Su, who has recently gained a lot of fame?" The President's eyes lit up when he saw Su Yue.
"You flatter me, sir. I haven't even finished my internship yet." Su Yue felt a little embarrassed by the compliment and quickly replied politely.
Just as the President was about to praise her further, Director Chen looked at him, "Mr. Ling, we're here to pick up the car."
"Oh yes, picking up the car." Mr. Ling nodded and sat down on the sofa with them. He then beckoned his secretary and asked for a tablet.
Various car models were displayed on it.
"I see you ordered the classic model two years ago, which is also quite good, but our new model released this year is more suitable for girls to drive."
Mr. Ling flipped to that model and showed it to them.
Su Yue took the opportunity to lean against the man beside her, linking her arm through his and moving closer to look.
Chen Ziming knew she was taking advantage of the situation to get close to him, but he didn't stop her.
"Director Chen, are you looking?" she asked, turning her face to him with a smile.
"Whatever you decide," he replied calmly.
Mr. Ling, sitting at a right angle to them, was a little confused.
This young master Chen had ordered a car two years ago, which likely meant he was quite fond of the girl.
But why did he appear so indifferent?
He had specifically checked the order today; the owner's information left back then was Su Yue.
"Is the new model the same price as the classic one?" Su Yue thought for a moment and looked at Mr. Ling.
"Oh, the price, well..." Mr. Ling hesitated. The new model was more than a million yuan more expensive.
"Do you need to pay for it?" Chen Ziming glanced at the girl clinging to him and frowned slightly.
He didn't expect her to seriously consider the question. "I just wanted to ask, what if I could afford it?"
Her words clearly displeased him. Director Chen put on a stern face and took the tablet, his slender fingers scrolling through it.
"I want the new model," he said, then looked at Su Yue. "Get me my wallet."
His wallet was in her bag, a habit they had developed at some point.
"Is it much more expensive?" Su Yue asked, a little surprised.
Chen Ziming ignored her again, took her bag, found his wallet, pulled out a card, and handed it to Mr. Ling.
