Chapter 55 Wreaking Havoc in the Jin Family

The Jin family mansion.

Su Ding pounded on the large gate, the iron door clanging.

Security was alerted, and someone shouted, "Who are you!"

Su Ding looked up, her bloodshot eyes glaring at him. "I'm looking for Jin Ye."

The security guard felt she was not in the right state and frowned. "Let me check."

"No need."

Su Ding immediately called Jin Ye and put it on speaker. The call was answered quickly.

"Hello? Why aren't you at the hospital?" Jin Ye had just arrived at the hospital, only to find Su Ding's belongings in the ward, but the person missing.

"I'm at your front door. Tell the security guard to let me in. I'm looking for Shao Lin."

Su Ding's voice was icy cold, her heart trembling uncontrollably.

Jin Ye detected that something was wrong and wanted to ask why, but he could feel that Su Ding was in a state of extreme suppression, on the verge of exploding.

He paused and then raised his voice, "Let her in."

The security guard heard this and opened the large iron gate.

Before Jin Ye could say anything else, Su Ding hung up the phone and strode in.

...

"Linlin, you're injured, don't overexert yourself. Wait for the nanny to come back before you do anything," Mrs. Jin persuaded Shao Lin gently and with satisfaction.

The nanny had taken the day off, so only the two of them were at home.

As they chatted, the topic of dinner came up, and Shao Lin volunteered to prepare the meal for the evening.

"I'm fine, really," Shao Lin smiled and said coquettishly, "Please go and sit on the sofa."

"Alright, alright," Mrs. Jin smiled, her wrinkles deepening.

Just then, the living room door was suddenly pushed open, and a woman barged in.

Su Ding's hair was dishevelled by the wind, and her sharp eyes held a chilling glint. Her steps were fierce and swift.

She saw Shao Lin standing by the kitchen door at a glance and rushed over in three strides!

She grabbed Shao Lin's shoulder blades and slapped her across the face!

"Slap!"

Shao Lin hadn't even had time to react. Her body was yanked forward, and she received a slap.

The sting was fiery!

She widened her eyes, "Are you crazy!"

Su Ding directly grabbed her hair and pulled her down, dragging her backward!

Her gaze seemed to be laced with poison, her killing intent revealed, "Give Xiao Rui back to me!"

Mrs. Jin gasped for air, startled, and rushed forward to pull Su Ding's hand. "You lunatic! What are you doing! Do you want to kill someone!"

Her pulling was like a tickle, having no effect on Su Ding at all.

Shao Lin's hair was pulled, and she struggled in pain. "Help me, it hurts! Let go!"

Su Ding's grip was tight, her eyes fixed on Shao Lin, venomously saying, "Speak!"

"Let go! Auntie, save me, call the police quickly, it hurts so much, let go!"

Su Ding fiercely kicked Shao Lin's knee, forcing her to her knees.

Mrs. Jin reacted and quickly called for the security guards at the door and the police!

"Where is Xiao Rui!" Su Ding narrowed her eyes, clamped her hands around Shao Lin's neck, her grip gradually tightening...

Shao Lin's eyes rolled back as she struggled to breathe.

Seeing the situation turn dire, Mrs. Jin grabbed the ashtray on the table and was about to smash it at Su Ding!

Su Ding's back was to her, but it was as if she had eyes behind her head. She slightly shifted her body and dodged the blow.

Shao Lin was close to suffocating, terror flashing in her eyes.

This woman was crazy, truly crazy. If she didn't speak now, she would really be choked to death...

She desperately clawed at Su Ding's hands and said with difficulty, "I... I'll talk..."

Only then did Su Ding loosen her grip slightly.

Shao Lin finally managed to catch her breath. She took a deep breath, opened her mouth, but said nothing.

Su Ding realized she was deliberately stalling for time.

The security guards would be here soon...

"Slap!"

She directly slapped Shao Lin across the face. "Bitch!"

Slap!

Slap!

"Speak!" Su Ding, like a demon from hell, was consumed by hatred, her eyes like knives, torturing Shao Lin.

"Slap!"

Shao Lin was stunned by the blows. She had never imagined Su Ding would come to her door.

"Speak, I'll speak, she... she was taken to C City, she's on the road now..."

"I want to hear her voice," Su Ding still didn't let her off.

"Okay, I'll make a call..." Shao Lin looked at her pleadingly. "My phone is on the coffee table."

Su Ding's icy gaze immediately swept to Mrs. Jin, who was watching her vigilantly. "Get it."

Su Ding now was no different from a ferocious kidnapper.

Mrs. Jin was intimidated by her fierce gaze and tremblingly went to retrieve the phone.

She had no idea what had happened.

Who was Xiao Rui? Why was this woman asking Linlin for someone?

Just as she handed the phone to Su Ding, Shao Lin suddenly broke free from Su Ding's grasp and, in utter terror, rushed out of the main entrance.

"She's dead!"

Su Ding watched her fleeing back, consumed by hatred, and threw the phone down heavily.

With a crack.

The phone shattered into pieces, and Mrs. Jin's face turned completely pale.

She looked at Su Ding tremblingly, only to see that Su Ding didn't pursue her. Instead, she stared blankly at the television in the living room.

At that moment, a news report was being broadcast.

"Local news reports that at 5:45 PM, a landslide occurred on Xiangxin Avenue en route to C City. Five people were killed, two seriously injured, and two are missing – a middle-aged man and a little girl..."

The on-site footage from the news appeared on screen, with the incessant wailing of ambulances.

The injured were blurred, but remnants of bloodstained clothing could be vaguely seen in the debris...

Su Ding's head buzzed, her heart seemed to stop, and the soul-piercing despair drained her strength.

Tears streamed down her face, and her body collapsed limply onto the ground.

Mrs. Jin had been staring intently at Su Ding, afraid Su Ding might do something to her, but then she saw Su Ding faint.

"Quickly grab her!"

Soon, Shao Lin, accompanied by security guards, rushed in. Upon seeing the unconscious Su Ding on the ground, a flicker of ruthlessness flashed in her eyes.

The security guards looked at Mrs. Jin, who hesitated for a moment before nodding.

The security guards immediately went over and pulled Su Ding up from the ground.

But she remained deeply unconscious, showing no signs of awareness, and the guards were somewhat at a loss.

Shao Lin had run out in such a panic earlier; they thought something life-threatening had happened?

Who would have thought that upon arrival, she would just faint?

"Ma'am, the police said they'll be here soon," a security guard reported respectfully.

"Oh," Mrs. Jin was still shaken, her fingers trembling. Looking at the unconscious Su Ding, she felt even more perplexed.

What in the world had happened?

What grudge did these two women have?

She looked at the dishevelled Shao Lin, still feeling a trace of blame for being abandoned earlier. "Linlin, what exactly is going on? Who is Xiao Rui? Why did she come asking you for someone?"

Shao Lin widened her innocent eyes. "I, I don't know..."

Mrs. Jin frowned. That was absolutely impossible.

Shao Lin had clearly mentioned going to C City earlier, and Su Ding had fainted after being stimulated by the landslide news.

Shao Lin was definitely hiding something.

Seeing Mrs. Jin's expression, Shao Lin started crying louder, "I really don't know, Auntie. I spent the whole day with you today. Just now, I was just talking nonsense. Didn't you see she's a lunatic?"
