She chose her words carefully before speaking slowly, "You previously instructed me to decide their fate according to the company's hiring regulations and policies. On the way, Su Ding told Jin Ye about her plan to open a shop. Jin Ye's response was simple: "I support you. If you need any help, just ask." Then, they chatted and laughed all the way home.
As soon as they arrived home, Su Ding's phone rang. Looking at it, she saw that Bai Ruobing had called twice.
It seemed rather urgent.
"I'll take a call, you go inside first," Su Ding said to Jin Ye. She walked to a bench in their small garden, sat down, and answered the phone.
Bai Ruobing got straight to the point, "Ms. Su, something has happened."
