Chapter 1450 Direct Confrontation!

The doorman hung up the phone, opened the large gate, and got into a sightseeing car to lead the way for Qing Muye.

The Anthena Castle was named after Anthena. The castle covered thousands of hectares, with a complex internal architectural design and some private areas that were forbidden to outsiders.

Visitors naturally needed an escort from outside the gate.

Five minutes later, the car stopped in front of a small Western-style building at the center of the castle.

At this moment, a man in a tuxedo and white gloves was standing in front of the small building. Upon seeing Qing Muye emerge from the car, he bowed respectfully and gestured for him to enter, saying, "Mr. Qing, please come in."

Qing Muye nodded slightly, his hands in the pockets of his trousers, and strode in with his head held high.

Ascending the steps and entering the hall, he found the hall to be sumptuously decorated, grand, and luxurious. On one side of the living room was a row of display cabinets filled with various antiques, and several famous paintings hung on the walls.

Qing Muye glanced up; he recognized most of the paintings, which had been bought at high prices by a mysterious person at auctions.

He hadn't expected the person behind it all to be Flake.

On the leather sofa in the living room sat a man with golden hair, wearing a silk pajama set, holding a glass of red wine. He leaned back on the sofa, crossed his legs, and had slippers on his feet.

Despite the extreme cold outside, the living room was heated, making it feel somewhat hot.

His posture was casual, but his face carried a cold, ruthless expression, exuding a powerful aura.

He was the leader of the mafia, Flake Street, a man who struck fear into countless hearts.

Qing Muye looked at him, walked forward, and offered a perfunctory, gentle smile. "Mr. Street, we finally meet."

Flake looked at him, touched the beard on his lips, and raised the hand holding the red wine, signaling him to sit. "Just you?"

"Of course." Qing Muye walked to the sofa, unbuttoned his silver suit jacket with his long fingers, lifted the hem, and sat down.

"More courageous than I imagined, daring to come to the castle alone."

As he spoke, he looked up and smiled, taking a sip of red wine, then uncrossed his legs and poured him a glass of red wine from the decanter on the table, placing it in front of Qing Muye. "Aren't you afraid you won't be able to return?"

These words carried a hint of threat.

Qing Muye smiled calmly, picked up the red wine, and sniffed it. "I heard that Mr. Street's estate is famous for producing red wine. It's an honor to taste it today."

Saying that, he actually took a sip and savored the wine.

Seeing his composure, Flake raised his eyebrows in surprise, then let out a hearty laugh. "Hahaha, I've long heard that President Qing is young and promising, mature and steady. Seeing you today, the rumors are true."

Qing Muye returned his smile. "I know Miss Anthena speaks Mandarin fluently, but I didn't expect your Mandarin to be so authentic." He raised his eyebrows and put down the wine glass, maintaining his usual composure. "However, you should know my purpose for coming here today."

He got straight to the point, disliking beating around the bush.

Flake knew what he meant. "You're here for Song Jun's matter, aren't you?"

"Song Jun is my right-hand man and a brother of many years. Would Mr. Street be willing to grant me, Qing, a favor and release him?" Courtesy before force was a way of dealing with people and Qing Muye's usual tactic.
