Chapter 424: 157. Mountain God Festival: The Melted-From-Shyness Miss Yukino_6
"Come over here." Fujiwara Reya led her by the hand and they sat down on the terrace.
Behind them was a rail made of redwood, looking out to the river flowing with radiant lights, with dreams from the boats pressing against the starry river. Turning inward, there was a luxuriously decorated stage where the true form of a Sakura Demon was revealed, cherry blossoms draping down like willow branches, endlessly magnificent.
As soon as they sat down, birds adorned in colorful feathers approached with a basket, offering fine wine and exquisite dishes.
The portions were small, crafted with exceptional delicacy and luxury. Originally quite indifferent, Yukino Ritsuko suddenly frowned, worriedly asking, "Aren’t these expensive?"
Fujiwara Reya blinked.
In the glow of the candlelight, she seemed to return to that foolish woman troubled over money, her pure and innocent expression reappearing as if snowflakes floating in darkness in Fujiwara Reya’s eyes.
"What’s the matter?" Yukino Ritsuko couldn’t understand the amusement in his eyes.
"Everything here is offered by the Mountain God to entertain guests, no need to pay." Fujiwara Reya chuckled lightly, pulling her into his arms and whispered in her ear, "Shall we thank the Mountain God?"
Yukino Ritsuko closed her eyes, her chest rising and falling, breathing hurriedly a few times.
The feeling of being embraced, she was still not quite accustomed to, but she didn’t find it uncomfortable... it was such a novel experience, as an emotionless Snow Woman, she secretly held some expectations towards that uncharted territory of her heart.
"Snow Princess, come out." Fujiwara Reya clapped his hands.
As the icy wind started blowing, Yukino Ritsuko immediately opened her eyes and looked forward.
In that realm of snow and ice, the Snow Woman slowly took shape, instinctively rushing toward her master, but a glance from the corner of her eye noticed another Snow Woman in her master’s arms.
?
In an instant, Snow Treasure was bewildered.
Who is she?
How can she also be a Snow Woman?
Why did the master, after having Snow Treasure, still seek another Snow Woman?
Does the master not want Snow Treasure anymore?
A flurry of questions went through her mind, as the Snow Woman floated in the air, her expressionless face as cold as a malfunctioning refrigerator.
"Snow Treasure, come here." Yukino Ritsuko beckoned.
?
Already perplexed, Snow Treasure, upon recognizing whose voice it was, became even more confused.
"Ah~" She pointed at Yukino Ritsuko, cried out a few sounds, then looked back at the master, tilting her head to one side. Her clear blue eyes were filled with curiosity.
"Miss Yukino is a Snow Woman as well." Fujiwara Reya smiled, reaching out to include Snow Treasure into his embrace.
With a Snow Woman on the left and another on the right, amidst the chilling atmosphere, he felt an enormous sense of fulfillment.
Snow Treasure nodded with partial comprehension.
"Freeze this for the master." Fujiwara Reya handed her the wine cup from the table.
Snow Treasure, without even thinking, tucked the slender, rounded wine cup under her collar, holding it tightly with both hands.
"..." Beside her, Yukino Ritsuko instantly felt the shape of the wine cup, a slight shiver running down her spine.
"Do you feel it?" Fujiwara Reya observed her from head to toe.
Yukino Ritsuko turned her face away, breathing softly yet rapidly.
In the hazy night, the evening breeze blew gently, cherry blossoms shakily swaying, with fireworks still blooming overhead. In the garden’s stage, geisha swung their sleeves, the gorgeous silk and falling cherry blossoms painting a beautiful canvas.
"Yukino, you’re a music teacher, right? Are you familiar with these?" Fujiwara Reya asked.
"Quite a bit," Yukino Ritsuko examined the dancing geisha on the stage, her crystal-like eyes flickering, "I’m very skilled at singing and often play the shamisen."
Fujiwara Reya, using pointed chopsticks, picked a piece of snowy white golden-eye seabream meat and brought it to her lips: "How about dancing?"
"I know quite a lot too." Yukino Ritsuko instinctively opened her mouth, eating the fish meat into her mouth, only after slightly chewing realized it was Fujiwara Reya who fed her, giving him a cold glare.
"How do you find them?" Fujiwara Reya looked at the geisha’s dance.
The young and beautiful geisha, with red color smeared on their eyelids, smiled with an expression like the flush of drunkenness.
"Average."
"Could you dance for me to see?"
Yukino Ritsuko was ready to get up and leave.
But her waist was wrapped by Fujiwara Reya, she had just stood up only to sit back down.
"Just casually do a move, alright?" Fujiwara Reya patiently persuaded.
"Then you can’t hold me later..." Yukino Ritsuko spoke the most bashful words with the coldest expression.
"No problem!" Fujiwara Reya promptly let go.
Yukino Ritsuko gathered her skirt with both hands and slowly stood up.
A flutter of snowflakes danced in the air, she stepped on the lightly fallen snow, raised her skirt a little with her toes, twirling twice in the snow. Her long silver hair swirled with her movement, rippling gracefully like waves, tastefully pure.
In that moment of beauty, all eyes were drawn from the building.
The woman suddenly emerged, as if a vivid painting brought into reality. Her delicate fingers softly pinched her skirt, surrounded by ice and snow, the gaze from beyond the terrace could only notice her cool glance and pink lips. No one could see her entire appearance, but she undoubtedly had an outstanding presence and appearance. She suddenly appeared, stunning the entire scene, then vanished without a trace.
This was the most beautiful glimpse of transcendence in the human world.
The impact created by that fleeting figure had already subdued the grandeur of the stage.
"Who is that?"
"Ah, how come the meat in my mouth doesn’t taste good anymore—"
"Hey upstairs, big brother, don’t hide such a beautiful lady, let us see her once more—"
