Chapter 244 Stay or Kill

In the National Assembly Building at this moment, Bai Ye sat in the presidential seat within the assembly hall, with a host of Korean assemblymen below him.

"Samsung, LG, Hyundai – the three major chaebols?" Bai Ye asked languidly, crossing his legs.

The South Korean Vice President, seated at the foremost position below, nodded in terror. He offered a lengthy explanation, noting that the terrifying figure before him seemed to have somewhat diminished his killing intent.

He continued, "The revenue of these three chaebols combined exceeds half of our South Korean GDP each year. Especially Samsung, which is involved in almost every industry, big or small, in our country. We had no choice!"

As he spoke, the South Korean Vice President began to plead his case, and the assemblymen behind him, fearful of death, chimed in. For a moment, the vast assembly hall was filled with wailing and lamentations.

Observing these high-ranking Korean officials, who usually acted arrogantly, now groveling and begging for mercy. Some assemblymen had even begun swearing allegiance and submission, willing to do anything for their lives.

Bai Ye merely said coldly, "Alright, I understand."

Sensing the coldness and hint of displeasure in Bai Ye's words, all the assemblymen shivered and quickly fell silent.

In the spacious and bright assembly hall, a dead silence suddenly descended once more…

At the front of the National Assembly Building, Han Jae-in and Han Soo-hye, along with their entourage, rushed over. Rows of guards respectfully saluted them, but they had no time to acknowledge them, hurrying towards the assembly hall at their fastest pace.

As their group exited the elevator and entered the assembly hall corridor, they saw a line of guards standing motionless. Han Jae-in and Han Soo-hye's expressions changed as they approached.

These guards were covered in a thin layer of frost, and one could feel an icy chill just by passing them. These warriors were already lifeless…

Something had indeed happened!!

Han Jae-in and Han Soo-hye quickened their steps. Such a method could only be Bai Ye's! The silence was unnerving; could those people all be dead?

Rushing to the doorway, they were stunned. The assemblymen, usually arrogant and quick to criticize him, were now huddled in the corners like chastised kindergarten children, too afraid to utter a sound!

And in the prominent, commanding position at the front, a young man with crossed legs was the source of this oppressive atmosphere, like the god of death suppressing the entire scene.

Han Jae-in silently counted the heads and, seeing no one missing, felt a sense of relief. Although he disliked these two-faced individuals, the death of all the assemblymen within the National Assembly would have dire consequences for South Korea.

"Oppa Bai Ye! We meet again!" Han Soo-hye's eyes lit up upon seeing Bai Ye, her heart filled with uncontainable joy.

The sudden voice 'startled' the assemblymen, who had been holding their breath. They all turned their heads to look, and upon seeing Han Jae-in and Han Soo-hye, their eyes suddenly gleamed with hope.

"President! President, save us!"

"We were wrong, Mr. President! Please, plead for us!"

"Mr. President, as long as you save us, we will obey you from now on! We will unite to deal with those wicked capitalist chaebols!"

"President, for the sake of our years of service, save us! We don't want to die!!"

The assembly hall erupted into wails and cries once more. Bai Ye would truly kill them, wouldn't he? They could find no reason why he wouldn't!

Would such a terrifyingly powerful monster care about being a South Korean leader?

Han Jae-in and his group felt a surge of disgust. However, having navigated the political arena for many years, their profound depth of experience kept their expressions unreadable.

Ignoring the assemblymen, he led Han Soo-hye towards Bai Ye.

"Mr. Bai, your reputation precedes you. I am Han Jae-in, President of South Korea. Welcome to our country. Please forgive any lack of hospitality!"

Bai Ye had already turned his head towards them, nodding slightly at Han Soo-hye.

Standing up, he glanced at the numerous assemblymen, his expression hardening. The entire space seemed to collapse as an invisible, terrifying gravity pressed down on them.

Thump! Thump! Thump!!

The South Korean assemblymen looked on in horror, their knees buckling as they fell to the ground, faces contorted in pain.

"Who do you want to keep? Who do you want to kill?"

The words that boomed through the air made the assemblymen present shiver, and they frantically shook their heads, looking towards Han Jae-in to beg for mercy!
