Chapter 358 Learning to Play with One Hand

Motorcycles, due to their speed, are indeed easier to learn than bicycles.

Once moving, as long as you don't mess around, you'll generally be fine.

But that's if *you* don't mess around!

Chai Shao was the one who loved messing around!

Seeing that the bike was stable, he got cocky. He rode straight down the main road all the way to Kaiyuan Gate.

He turned back, and as he passed Cheng Yaojin, he saw Cheng Yaojin looking very displeased. Chai Shao extended his right hand and made a middle finger gesture.

Fang Er was dumbfounded!

He just learned and is already riding with one hand?

Sure enough, tragedy struck the very next moment!

Inside Chang'an City, the roads were paved with flagstones, and it was common for one stone to be higher than another.

As a result, the front wheel ran into a protruding flagstone. Although this stone didn't stick out much more than others, only about three to five centimeters.

Even this slight unevenness caused the motorcycle to wobble a bit. Chai Shao quickly retracted his right hand and grabbed the handlebars firmly.

But in his haste to stabilize the bike, he neglected what was ahead.

The 'Warrior' charged straight towards the Imperial City wall.

*Duang!*

The motorcycle crashed hard against the Imperial City wall, and Chai Shao was thrown off.

He landed sprawled out, his body flat against the wall, then slid down, crashing onto the fallen motorcycle.

Fang Er and Cheng Yaojin rushed over to help him up.

"Old Chai Dog? Dead yet?"

Despite his concern, Cheng Yaojin didn't forget to tease.

Chai Shao lifted his head, shook it, and felt a burning pain on his face.

He touched it and found his hand covered in blood.

Seeing the blood on his hand, Fang Er was bewildered.

He then looked at Chai Shao's face. His forehead wasn't broken, but it had swelled into a large lump!

The blood was flowing from his nose.

"Come on, Father-in-law, take a couple of steps. Let me see if you're broken."

After saying that, Fang Er released his grip.

Seeing this, Cheng Yaojin also let go and stepped aside.

Chai Shao clutched the lump on his forehead, hissing in pain.

He took a few wobbly steps, then turned in a circle.

"I'm fine, my legs and feet are all good. See, I can even do a little jump!"

After saying that, he actually jumped a few times.

Seeing this, Fang Er finally relaxed. His face wasn't flattened, his head wasn't damaged, and his legs were fine, so he was okay.

Cheng Yaojin looked at Chai Shao with undisguised disdain.

"Old Chai Dog, still want to rob? Heh heh, now it's my turn to have some fun!"

He stepped forward and picked up the motorcycle. The engine roared to life, indicating it wasn't damaged by the crash.

Fang Er wanted to stop him, suggesting they find a more spacious place to ride another day.

But Cheng Yaojin didn't give him a chance to speak. He immediately got on, engaged the clutch, shifted gears, applied throttle, and rode off!

As the motorcycle started, Cheng Yaojin shouted excitedly.

"Hahaha! This is more fun than a pickup truck!"

The hundred or so officials outside Chengtian Gate watched in stunned silence as Chai Shao stood there, rubbing his forehead.

Then, they looked at the departing Cheng Yaojin and all shook their heads.

Cheng Yaojin rode towards Tonghua Gate. As he turned back, he saw Li Xiaogong walking leisurely towards Chengtian Gate.

He hit the brakes, and with a screech, the motorcycle stopped beside Li Xiaogong.

"What the hell!"

Li Xiaogong was walking along when a piercing sound suddenly came from beside him. Startled, he quickly moved a few steps away.

He turned and saw it was Cheng Yaojin.

He then looked at the never-before-seen motorcycle and asked curiously.

"Is this something the Marquis of Liaodong just acquired?"

Cheng Yaojin leaned to the side and patted the rear seat.

"Get on! I'll let you experience this vehicle too."

Seeing Cheng Yaojin's smug expression, Li Xiaogong had a premonition of something ominous.

He retreated a few more steps and waved his hand, saying.

"Never mind, I'm almost there. I'll just walk."

Cheng Yaojin was displeased that Li Xiaogong wasn't cooperating with his show-off.

"Are you getting on or not? If not, when my brother gets more of these, you won't get a turn!"

Li Xiaogong eyed the magnificent 'Warrior' and was indeed a bit envious. He was already contemplating how to ask Fang Er for one.

Hearing Cheng Yaojin's words, he gritted his teeth and climbed onto Cheng Yaojin's back.

"Fine, fine! Just go slowly!"

Cheng Yaojin grinned and said, "Hold on tight!"

Then he began to start.

He twisted the throttle hard. Li Xiaogong fumbled for a place to hold on for a long time, but found none.

As the bike lurched, Li Xiaogong instinctively wrapped his arms around Cheng Yaojin's waist, holding on tightly!

Cheng Yaojin froze when Li Xiaogong embraced him.

He immediately cursed.

"Let go, you bastard! I'm not into that! Hurry up! If people see us, will old Cheng still have any reputation?"

Li Xiaogong, bouncing precariously on the back, felt uneasy and refused to let go.

"You bastard, drive slower! You almost threw me off just now!"

As the two argued, the motorcycle, without them realizing it, rode back towards Chengtian Gate.

Seeing the hundred or so officials looking at him with meaningful glances, Cheng Yaojin became anxious.

He freed one hand and tried to pry off Li Xiaogong's arm around his waist.

Li Xiaogong refused to let go.

The motorcycle wobbled again.

It sped directly towards the gathered officials.
