The two sides fought for five minutes when a purple light suddenly descended, hovering before Ye Tian. He looked closely; the inner core had turned purple, and the purple bead was gone.
Before he could react, the inner core flew into his mouth and settled in his stomach. Once inside, it slowly released purple energy, which was absorbed by his body, feeling incredibly comfortable.
He was stunned and muttered, "How am I going to explain this to Old Ren?"
Shaking his head, he called Old Ren and the others over.
Ren Ping saw the corpses on the ground and chuckled, "I knew the Japanese would pay a price. They indeed died inside."
Then, he asked with a smile, "Brother, did you find anything?"
Ye Tian pointed to the meteorite fragments on the ground and said, "It shattered, and a purple light flew out."
Ren Ping nodded, "I saw that purple light, like a shooting star. Brother, you're a cultivator, do you know what it was?"
Ye Tian thought for a moment and replied, "It's hard to say. It possessed spirituality. It should be some kind of cosmic life form."
Ren Ping's eyes lit up, "Cosmic life? So, there's life beyond Earth!"
Ye Tian sighed, "Whether it is or not, it escaped anyway. We came all this way for nothing."
Ren Ping laughed heartily, "Not for nothing. We killed a few Japanese and some gene warriors. That's the harvest! You don't know, brother, but privately, any department that kills a ninja receives a hefty reward. Killing gene warriors also earns a bonus, though not as high as for ninjas."
Ye Tian's interest was piqued, "Oh, how much is the reward for a five-flower elite ninja?"
Ren Ping smiled, "A five-flower elite ninja is fifteen million. A seven-flower elite ninja is thirty million. If it's a Ninja King, it's a hundred million."
Ye Tian said, "That's not bad. I don't need the money. Just remember to treat me to drinks."
Ren Ping laughed heartily, "Deal!"
After cleaning up the scene, Ren Ping received news that the Rasha side was sending people over. He quickly left with Ye Tian and the others.
An hour later, the group boarded a helicopter. After flying for several hours, the helicopter entered an airport on the border.
As dawn broke, Ye Tian and Ren Ping had returned to the capital.
Ren Ping was exhausted and went to rest immediately. Ye Tian, however, found a quiet place to feel the changes the purple light had brought to his body.
By noon, he felt refreshed and was about to go out for something to eat when he received a call from Huang Yanran.
"What is it?" he asked.
Huang Yanran replied, "I received news that the Tu family is indeed going to make a move against you. They've sent an expert in the evil path to deal with you. Be extremely careful."
Ye Tian said, "Understood. Since the Tu family is making a move, I have a reason to act. I'm at the hotel; you can come over."
Half an hour later, Huang Yanran arrived at Ye Tian's hotel room. She asked, "What are your plans?"
Ye Tian stated, "First, I'll meet that evil path expert. If it's truly the Tu family making the move, I'll pay them a visit tonight."

Ye Tian said, "My dealing with the Tu family is equivalent to helping you. Tell me, how do you plan to thank me?"
Huang Yanran said, with surprising seriousness, "If the Tu family falls, half of their assets will be yours."
Ye Tian's heart stirred, "How much is half their assets?"
Huang Yanran elaborated, "Let me put it this way: the tribute money the Tu family collects annually from various regions is no less than a hundred billion."
