After Han Qiushui and the others left, Lu Fan, holding Lin Ke's hand, walked towards the Lin family residence. "If I'm not mistaken, the Lin family already knows you were kidnapped, and they might even be raising money right now."
"Brother Lu Fan, you're truly a divine predictor. It's exactly as you say," Lin Ke nodded. "But if it weren't for you tonight, I would have been in serious trouble. How should I thank you!"
"You're about to be my wife, so why talk about thanks?" Lu Fan chuckled. "As long as you are safe and sound, I will be content."
Lin Ke smiled awkwardly, Lu Fan's words warming her heart.
Meanwhile, in the car, Han Qiushui looked at San Quezi. "I usually tell you to keep things low-key, but you never listen. Now you've brought this upon yourself!"
"Miss Han, who exactly is that person? You are the eldest daughter of the Han family, why do you have to listen to him?" San Quezi pleaded. "Are you really going to make me disappear?"
"Naturally!" Han Qiushui stated directly. "That person is my master, and he is also Lord Lu of Jiangnan. Let alone you, even our Han family cannot afford to offend him, so your fate is sealed!"

Disbelief filled San Quezi's eyes, his expression one of utter shock, as if he knew Lord Lu of Jiangnan quite well.
"If you had offended someone else, I might have been able to intervene, but you offended my master and touched his reverse scale," Han Qiushui said coldly. "In this case, I cannot protect you!"
"Miss Han, I have always been loyal to the Han family. Please, Miss Han, spare my life!" San Quezi begged.
"It's too late!" Han Qiushui's expression was indifferent. "You must pay the price for offending the wrong person. You must know that my master has bestowed great kindness upon the Han family, so you are doomed!"
San Quezi was filled with regret and helplessness. If he had known that Lin Ke had such a powerful backer, he would never have dared to do such a thing.

"Perhaps I couldn't do much, but the people I know can," Lu Fan chuckled. "I'll be returning to Jiangnan tomorrow. I hope Uncle Lin will take good care of Lin Ke!"
"Could it be the Han family's help?" Lin Yalan asked in surprise. She knew very well that Lu Fan was a distinguished guest of the Han family, having realized it at the Jingxuan Hotel that day. She didn't know why Lu Fan held such a status.
"The Han family of Jiangbei?" Lin Aotian was even more astonished. "How does he know someone from the Han family of Jiangbei?"
"I don't know about that!" Lin Yalan shook her head. "But he does have some connection with the Han family!"
"She's been delivered safely, Uncle Lin doesn't need to worry!" Lu Fan shrugged. "If there's nothing else, I'll be going!" With that, Lu Fan left, not lingering, as he felt quite averse to the other members of the Lin family.
After Lu Fan left, Lin Aotian asked with concern, "Are you injured anywhere?"
"Dad, don't worry, I'm fine," Lin Ke shook her head. "But thanks to Brother Lu Fan, if it weren't for him, I would have been in real trouble."
"Xiao Ke, were you…?" Old Mrs. Lin frowned. "You are to marry Lord Lu. You absolutely cannot…"
"Don't worry, Old Madam, I am still a virgin!" Lin Ke stated directly, though she frowned slightly. Old Mrs. Lin was only concerned about this, not her safety, which made her feel a little disheartened.
"You're about to marry Lord Lu, why aren't you preparing properly? You're still spending all your time with this boy," Lin Haitao said coldly. "If the Lord Lu of Jiangbei finds out, who knows what he'll think!"
"I will handle my own affairs, and I don't need your interference!" Lin Ke said coldly.
Lin Haitao was about to say something when Lin Guoli stopped him. Lin Ke was soon to be Lord Lu's wife, and even if they were to become the leaders of the Lin family in the future, they could not easily offend Lin Ke, lest they bring trouble upon themselves.

The next morning, Han Yunhai, along with the members of the Azure Dragon Sect, waited outside the courtyard. After a long while, Lu Fan emerged with Granny Guihua. They were returning to Jiangnan this time to arrange the wedding, and Lu Fan naturally had preparations to make.
As Lu Fan was about to get into the car, a figure appeared beside the convoy. Dressed in casual attire and with a ponytail, she looked rather pure. "Master, I want to return to Jiangnan with you!"
"You are the beloved daughter of Old Master Han and the sole heir of the Han family," Lu Fan chuckled softly. "If you truly accompany me back to Jiangnan, the Han family will not agree."
"Grandfather has already broken through to Grandmaster, so the Han family will be in no danger!" Han Qiushui stated. "This way, I won't have to worry and can always stay by your side!"
"Since you want to go, then go!" Lu Fan waved his hand. "It's a good opportunity for you to gain some experience, after all, being my disciple is not an easy task!"
"Thank you, Master!" Han Qiushui was overjoyed. She had thought Lu Fan would not agree, but it seemed that was not the case, which was exactly what she wished for.
In the car, Han Qiushui was respectful and appeared solemn. Accompanying Lu Fan to Jiangnan was an honor for her.
"How is the matter I entrusted you with progressing?" Lu Fan looked at Han Yunhai. "Have you finished the Qi Nourishing Pills?"
