As Lin Ke was organizing documents, a man in a suit walked in from outside, looking polite. "Lin Ke, it's your first day at the company. Are you getting used to it?"
"Team Leader Yang," Lin Ke smiled. "It's already after work hours. Why are you still here?"
"Just organizing some documents, so I'm a bit late," Yang Lei said with a smile. "You've just been assigned to our sales team, and there are many things you're not familiar with. So, I'm asking you to help out for a day. You don't mind, do you?"
"Of course not. I've just arrived at the company and don't know anything. I should be receiving more training," Lin Ke quickly shook his head. "Thank you for your concern, Team Leader Yang."

"A meal?"
Lin Ke paused for a moment before awkwardly saying, "No, thank you! I already have plans."
"Lin Ke, you're new to the company and don't know anything yet. Don't refuse so quickly," Yang Lei smiled slightly. "Regardless, I'm your team leader. Aren't you going to give me this much face?"
"Team Leader Yang, please don't misunderstand. I didn't mean it that way," Lin Ke quickly said. "It's just that someone is waiting for me outside. Brother Lu Fan said he would pick me up after work."

You should understand my capabilities to become the sales team leader. Furthermore, the chairman of this company has a good relationship with me. Your future here is entirely decided by me."
Lin Ke frowned. This was his first job, and he didn't want to give up just like that, but he felt helpless facing such a scumbag.
"What, have you changed your mind?" Yang Lei revealed a sinister smile.
"If what you say is true, then fire me! I will never compromise my principles as a person," Lin Ke stated directly.
"Good, very good!" Yang Lei sneered coldly.
Just then, Lu Fan entered the office. Lu Fan had naturally heard their entire conversation.
"Brother Lu Fan!"
Lin Ke looked surprised. He hadn't expected Lu Fan to come directly to the office; he thought Lu Fan would be waiting for him outside the company.
"Who are you? This is the sales team. Is this a place you can just enter freely!"
Yang Lei said displeasedly, "Get out of here now!"
"Are you talking to me?" Lu Fan shrugged.
"Who else would it be?" Yang Lei said coldly. "This Lin Ke is truly blind to have taken a liking to someone like you."
"I advise you to watch your words. And it's best to have principles. As the saying goes, heaven sees all. Perhaps you'll be fired one day," Lu Fan said with a faint smile.
"The chairman of Tai Kang Pharmaceutical is my buddy. Why would he fire me?" Yang Lei said with a cold laugh. "On the other hand, your dear friend can pack their bags and leave tomorrow."
"We'll see who ends up packing their bags. Perhaps you're exaggerating about the chairman of Tai Kang Pharmaceutical being your buddy," Lu Fan said with a slight smile.
"Are you jealous or resentful?" Yang Lei said abruptly.
"I'll say it again: heaven sees all. You should know better. Perhaps tomorrow, it will be you packing your bags," Lu Fan said with a smile.
After speaking, Lu Fan didn't say any more. He pulled Lin Ke and walked out of the company, feeling a surge of anger.

"Then I'll listen to you, Brother Lu Fan, and continue to go to work tomorrow," Lin Ke nodded seriously. "If I really get fired, I'll have to rely on you to support me."
"It's alright, I can support you for a lifetime," Lu Fan said with a smile. "The business my friends and I are partnering on seems to be doing well. It certainly won't treat you unfairly."
"I don't want that!" Lin Ke said playfully. "I want to create my own value through my own efforts. I can't always rely on others."
"That's a good way of thinking!" Lu Fan nodded and then made a phone call to Manager Chen, saying something before hanging up directly.
Shortly after, Yang Lei left the company and went to the underground parking lot. Just as he was about to happily head home, he received a call from Manager Chen.
"Team Leader Yang, such great authority! You dare to provoke the powers that be!" Manager Chen said. "Go to the finance department to settle your accounts tomorrow. You don't need to come to the company anymore."
"Manager Chen, what's going on?" Team Leader Yang said anxiously. "My performance this month has been outstanding. How could I possibly be fired by the company?"
At this moment, Yang Lei was extremely nervous. The position of sales team leader came with a good salary. He had managed to reach this point, which was a fortunate opportunity in his life. Now, it was about to vanish, and he couldn't accept it.
