The holiday ended, and Du Ruoxin and Cristiano returned to Buckingham Palace.
Miranda was swamped with work.
She was in the final stages of filming; there were still other scenes to shoot, and she couldn't stay in Britain indefinitely.
"Sister Xin, you're finally back," Miranda said, pulling Du Ruoxin into a hug and pouring out her woes. "You have no idea, I'm almost worked to death. I—"
Du Ruoxin also had a lot to say. She excitedly gripped her friend's hand. "Darling, I have some super, super juicy gossip for you."
Miranda's thoughts paused. "What super gossip?"
Du Ruoxin leaned in and whispered in her ear, "Grace is with Qin Yunxi."
Miranda: "Wh-what?!"
This was big news.
She was somewhat disbelieving, yet it felt as if it were all within expectation. "That... no... how did they get together? When did they get together?"
Du Ruoxin explained, "Grace was kidnapped, right? Brother Qin found her, and then they got together. You'll have to ask Grace for the specifics, what made her suddenly come to her senses?"
Miranda's expression turned complex. She wasn't as excited as Du Ruoxin, her feelings a mix of joy and apprehension. "A man like Qin Yunxi..."
"Is too dangerous."
Miranda hadn't understood him before, but after more than a month of interaction, she realized Qin Yunxi was incredibly dangerous.

Du Ruoxin was rendered speechless.
After a moment of silence, she tried to speak in Qin Yunxi's defense. "Don't worry, don't worry, Brother Qin isn't that bad."
Miranda knew that too. After more than a month of acquaintance, her opinion of Qin Yunxi had greatly improved.
"Sigh!" Miranda let out a deep sigh. She couldn't stop what had already happened, so she could only smile and optimistically say, "I think this must be Grace's decision after careful consideration."
