Lu Jian gritted his teeth, about to expose Chen Xuan. "Grandpa, you can't believe him! He's just a cripple. Just now, an old woman came for treatment, a minor issue of spleen deficiency and lung heat. This guy couldn't figure it out either. I wanted to perform acupuncture, but he wouldn't let me."

A group of people, charging in aggressively with murderous intent, stormed into the medical clinic.
As the crowd parted, two people carried a stretcher, on which lay an old woman with a deathly pale face.

The surrounding people were terrified and retreated, looking at the old woman on the stretcher with fear.

"Could she have died?"
Lu Jian's expression changed drastically upon seeing this.
He recognized the old woman on the stretcher, and the two men leading the charge were the same burly men who had accompanied his mother for treatment earlier.

He turned to look at Chen Xuan. How did this guy know something would happen?
Did he foresee it?
Could the old woman's condition have really been problematic?

The old woman was indeed dead, her body already cold.

Divine Doctor Lu fell silent. Now that someone had died, at best they would lose their medical license and pay compensation; at worst, they would go to jail.
He took a deep breath and said with a forced smile to the burly man, "Brother, this is our Benevolent Heart Medical Clinic's responsibility. We are willing to compensate you two million. Would that be acceptable?"
"Two million? Screw you!"
Divine Doctor Lu's face turned green and white as if he had eaten a fly. "Brother, name your price. Just say it."
"I don't want money, I want his life!"
The burly man drew a saber from his waist and pointed it at Lu Jian's nose.
Divine Doctor Lu's face was worse than if he had eaten a fly.

Clutching his bleeding shoulder, he got up from the ground and knelt before Chen Xuan, begging piteously, with none of his previous arrogance remaining.
"What you said makes some sense." Chen Xuan rubbed his chin.

The burly man cursed and swung a saber towards Chen Xuan's forehead.
Chen Xuan kicked the burly man's wrist, and the saber flew towards the roof beam, then fell vertically, landing on the wooden floor almost grazing the burly man's nose.
The burly man's heart also pounded violently.
"From now on, the Benevolent Heart Medical Clinic will be my property, Chen Xuan. This farce should end!"
