Chapter 1477 A Shared Lunch
"No, I still want to have lunch with Director Hua. I don't have time," Chen Xuan said directly.
A cold glint flashed across Lu Cheng's brow. He waved his hand, "Leave the food here."
The assistant immediately placed the tray in his hands on the side and wiped a pair of exclusive silver chopsticks before placing them down.
"You go eat first."
Lu Cheng waved his hand again, and the assistant acknowledged and retreated.
He sat down beside Chen Xuan and said lightly, "Chen Yiming, is it? I advise you to stay away from Hua Mei, or you'll die without a burial place."
His tone was casual, but every word dripped with killing intent.
"Chairman, are you threatening me? Can I report this to the authorities?" Chen Xuan asked with a smile.
"You can try."
Lu Cheng hadn't expected Chen Xuan to say that. He found it utterly unbelievable. However, with his immense power, why would he fear Chen Xuan? In his eyes, last night's mishap was merely an accident.
"Director Hua, this is delicious!"
As he spoke, Chen Xuan picked up a meatball, blew on it gently, and brought it to Hua Mei's lips.
This scene made Lu Cheng's gaze turn stern, his killing intent palpable. The air around them seemed to freeze.
"Chen Yiming..."
Hua Mei felt dizzy. Was this guy crazy? To do this in front of Lu Cheng was akin to stabbing him in the heart and pouring oil on the fire!

"Why should I be afraid of his revenge? Isn't he afraid of mine?" Chen Xuan replied dismissively.

Hua Mei chuckled, laughing exceptionally happily.
Seeing Hua Mei's smile, Chen Xuan's heart fluttered. Ever since he met Hua Mei, he had seen her smile, but it was always a shallow smile. He had never seen her laugh so happily, so genuinely.
"I'm suddenly very happy."
"Does that mean you'll agree to be my girlfriend?"
"What do you think others will think after that meal we just had?"

With that, Hua Mei stood up, her slender waist swaying, and turned to leave.
