Chapter 527

Anton took a total of four days to conquer the 50th floor of the Corridors of Amuneta Dungeon.

“Well, technically it’s just three days since I will just rest the night here, count my gains, then exit the dungeon tomorrow,” Anton thought to himself.

His gains were enormous. He received a total of 53 high-level mana stones, and that count brought his total high-level mana stones to 137. Since high-level mana stones cost 10,000 gold coins each, that meant that he had a reserve treasure that could be converted to around 1.3 or 1.4 million gold coins.

The medium-level mana stone he received from the floor was 24, and once he sold those, his gold coins would go up again to more or less 28,000. Anton also received an enormous number of enchanted items from the floor. Once his father arrived, he would let Anders handle those. It didn’t matter to Anton whether his father would use them or sell them. More likely, though, Anders would keep the items to distribute to the members of the mercenary group that he formed.

Regarding the diamond quest items that he received, by his count, he could probably complete around 17 to 20 of them. He wasn’t sure if all the things that he would bring outside would count. Anton would just let the people from the Adventurer’s Guild handle those.

Anton then checked his ladder Amazon character. His Amazon climbed from level 21 to level 35. At least, he didn’t have to regret not focusing on leveling up his character and doing the dungeon instead, since his system allowed him to earn experience points from the dungeon monsters. Although it was a little slower compared to him totally focusing on the game inside his Diablo II system, having the experience of killing the monster in the dungeon was truly important to him because it allowed him to have true battle experience against monsters.

After counting all of his gains, Anton exited the dungeon and headed directly to the Adventurers Guild located near the entrance to the Corridors of Amuneta dungeon. The guild staff led him to a warehouse where he could submit all the things that he had gathered from the monsters, then he gave all the remaining medium-level mana stones in his possession to be exchanged for gold coins.

The guild staff then led Anton to a private booth to wait for the guild staff to bring back his Adventurers Guild bank card. After about an hour of waiting, the guild staff arrived.

“Sir Anton, I’ve exchanged your mana stones into gold coins, and the total amount is 23,000. The total diamond quest that you have already submitted is 48. Do you have any plans to sell your high-level mana stones? We can handle that for you using the market value,” The man from the guild said.

“How long can I keep the high-level mana stones before they decay and lose their value?” Anton asked.

“For high-level mana stones, after a hundred years, they would lose around ten percent of the stored mana, and the value would also lessen by about ten percent. After 200 years, the value would decrease by 20 percent.”

“Oh, good! I have time then. I think I’ll keep them for now.”

After that. Anton hurriedly flew back home. He had been gone for around four days and was worried that the 30,000 gold coins that he had given to Ronia were not enough to fill his new manor with furniture and all the things needed to make sure that the manor would be fully furnished by the time his father arrived.

Once he arrived at his house, he saw that there was no one there, and he thought that maybe everyone had already moved to the Rose Manor. Anton immediately went outside his house and flagged a carriage to bring him to the Rose Manor. After less than an hour, he entered the section where his manor was located after showing the guards his Rose Token. When he arrived at the manor, he saw that it was very lively with a lot of movement.

Anton pinned his Rose token prominently on his chest to avoid miscommunication. With the token, the guards at the gate looked at him and his token and allowed him to enter without asking him any questions. He frowned at that. He wanted his manor to have tighter security than just the guards looking at his token briefly.

After a while, though, Ronia, Mary, Torbin, and Torban met him by the door, together with a distinguished older man and a dignified older woman, and a professional-looking young woman.

“Anton, we have been expecting you to arrive soon since you did mention that you’ll be gone around three to four days,” Torban said with a huge grin on the dwarf’s face.

Torban’s reaction brought a slight frown on the older man who was following Ronia. Anton simply nodded at the dwarf, then asked Ronia to introduce him to the three distinguished people following them while they showed him the changes that had happened on the manor.

While they were walking, Ronia showed him the furniture that had been bought to decorate the main hall. The woman who looked like an office lady looked a little antsy, though, when she heard Ronia’s introduction to the paintings, the sculpture, and the furniture. Everyone noticed, and Ronia smiled and shook her head.

She then introduced the three new people.

“This is Mr. Raymond Jenkins. Mr. Jenkins is the butler that I’ve hired through Ormunda’s job agency. His resume was impressive, and since I truly need assistance in managing your manor, I hired him on the basis that it will still be your decision if he will stay or not, and Mr. Jenkins agreed. This lady is Ms. Almida Noria, the head maid whom I hired, and her status as your employee is also contingent on your decision. This beautiful lady is Ms. Felicity Orwells, the decorator who assisted me in purchasing most of the items. She would take over in introducing the items that we bought,” Ronia told Anton.

The three new hires bowed to Anton, and Anton simply shook their hands.

“Don’t bow to me. Although I’m your employer, I’m not a noble. A simple courtesy is fine by me. I don’t know if Ronia told you. I’m expecting my father to arrive in a few weeks with my relatives. My father’s name is Anders Sunders, and I’m Anton Sunders. I don’t know exactly how many people will arrive with my father since he recently formed a mercenary group. I also have a sister who’s currently studying in the Magic Academy of Evocation or something and will be joining us during semester breaks. My father is still very active, so once he arrived, he would be the head of the family. Do you have any questions?”

“Is it true that you’ve been diving from the 40th floor of the Corridors of Amuneta? I just want to confirm since a rumor had been circling the people in the manor, and it would be a good idea to give your people definite confirmation,” Mr. Jenkins said.

“Didn’t Ronia, Torbin, and Torban tell you?” Anton asked.

“We told them, but they still couldn’t believe that someone as young as you could dive the deep floors of a high-level dungeon. And alone, for that matter,” Torbin said.

“Let’s set the record straight, then. Please call everyone in the manor so I can introduce myself and settle all the information,” Anton told them, and everyone dispersed to call all the people in the manor.
