Chapter 135 The Beginning of the Disaster

Chapter 1 The First Doomsday

[System: The first doomsday disaster will officially begin in one minute.]

After reading the prompt, Lin En immediately became vigilant and silently waited for a minute. In the face of an unknown disaster, it was best to remain unchanged to cope with all changes.

Soon, a minute passed. Lin En looked around, trying to see what kind of disaster it was.

Suddenly, a burst of intense light stung Lin En's eyes, making him unable to open them. After what felt like a long time, he felt he could open his eyes and immediately did so, quickly surveying the surroundings.

Lin En looked around in surprise. He was no longer in the dungeon? Looking at the tall buildings around him, how much time had passed? It hadn't even been a few months, yet it felt a little unfamiliar.

He wondered when the disaster would strike. Had the dungeon teleported him here because a doomsday-level disaster was about to occur?

Entering a bubble tea shop, Lin En ordered a cup of bubble tea and began to wait, watching the bustling street outside. He could only mourn for them, as self-preservation was the best one could hope for in this kind of disaster.

[System: The disaster is about to begin.]

[System: You must survive for ten hours after the disaster begins. (Note: The dungeon time ratio is 1:10)]

[System: Your location is the epicenter of the disaster. Disaster begins.]

The next second after reading the prompt, Lin En immediately ran out quickly.

The bubble tea shop clerk stared blankly at the empty bubble tea cup, the person who had ordered it was gone. "Damn it, he didn't pay!"

Just as he reached the street, Lin En immediately felt the ground shaking violently, and cracks began to appear on the ground, densely packed and constantly expanding.

The surrounding high-rise buildings also began to shake and crack, with glass signs constantly falling.

In just a dozen seconds, the tall buildings that had been fine just moments ago were now in ruins.

Lin En ran outwards quickly, the collapsing buildings unable to keep up with his speed. They mostly began to collapse after he had passed.

It seemed this doomsday disaster was a super earthquake. What troubled Lin En was that the energy content of this world was extremely low, making it impossible to replenish his own energy.

The vibration frequency was getting faster and faster. Lin En watched the cracks constantly spreading around him, faster than he was. However, the collapse speed wasn't as fast, still unable to keep up with him.

However, the natives of this world were miserable. Normal people simply couldn't escape. One by one, they screamed as they fell into the ground or were buried by collapsed buildings. In the epicenter of the earthquake, escape was basically impossible.

...

After running for a full hour, Lin En finally ran out of the city and into the wilderness. But unfortunately, he still couldn't stop, because the earthquake hadn't stopped, and the cracks were still spreading outwards.

Taking a look at the completely collapsed city, Lin En began to run again. Without the obstruction of things falling from the high-rise buildings, his speed increased by several points.

Looking at the ground fissures hundreds of meters behind him, Lin En figured he could maintain this speed for an entire day.

After all, this was just an ordinary doomsday. And so, Lin En ran for a full ten hours. Although the earthquake caused a series of chain reactions, the disaster was always one step behind him.

A flash of white light, and Lin En was immediately back in the dungeon. He habitually ran for hundreds of meters before stopping.

Stopping, Lin En immediately materialized his home, then quickly took some items to replenish his stamina and energy from the treasure chest, and then quickly put his home away again.

Not long after putting his home away, another flash of white light, and Lin En was teleported back to the doomsday world.

Oh, well. Lin En looked at the beach in front of him. It seemed that this doomsday disaster was very likely a tsunami.

Sure enough, Lin En saw the sea level rising higher and higher, with a super huge tsunami rushing towards the land quickly.

Lin En looked at the huge tsunami and realized that this disaster was much simpler than the previous earthquake.

Picking up a cell phone, it must have been dropped by a tourist fleeing for their life. Fortunately, the phone wasn't locked. Lin En quickly opened the browser and searched for the highest peak in time.

After finding it, Lin En quickly flew towards the highest peak. Flying at full speed, he reached the highest peak in less than an hour.

For the rest of the time, Lin En stood on the highest peak watching this world being swallowed by the tsunami, cities being ruthlessly destroyed, and plateaus and mountains gradually being submerged by the sea.

This time, Lin En witnessed the destruction of a world, no, a civilization.

Huh? Lin En suddenly looked down the mountain. Evacuees were climbing up, and there were still many evacuees rushing here, after all, the sea water wasn't coming here that fast.

Lin En closed his eyes and sat on the snow, thinking about whether or not to help.

Well, Lin En opened his eyes and suddenly swept away the snow on the ground, then stared at the ground.

Soon a chat box popped up. Lin En quickly checked it and asked questions. After a period of communication, he closed the page.

Looking at the evacuees below, Lin En materialized his home and summoned his monster girl, Xiao Na.

Then Lin En had Xiao Na use magic to create a super large staircase that stretched all the way down the mountain.

Sending the exhausted Xiao Na back to the monster space, then putting away his home, Lin En figured he could only help this much.

...

The sudden movement from the mountain made all the evacuees climbing the mountain feel uneasy, and then they saw a miracle, a super large and wide staircase extending down from the mountain.

Looking at the suddenly appearing staircase, everyone's eyes revealed hope, the hope of survival, and then they silently began to climb the stairs. All the evacuees quietly climbed upwards.

The first batch of evacuees finally climbed to the middle of the mountain, where the staircase extended downwards from.

The cold, biting wind made everyone shiver. Although the middle of the mountain was relatively flat, it also meant there was no barrier to block the cold wind.

The evacuees didn't have any warm clothing, and if they did, they had already thrown it away long ago.

...

Looking at the crowd huddled together and shivering below, Lin En felt somewhat helpless, but since he had already helped, he shouldn't give up halfway.

Lin En spread his wings and flew down, and in the midst of a group of people looking at him like a god, he took out all the wood and stones on his body.

Then taking out a few very trashy props, Lin En used these props to build a greenhouse, and then planted hundreds of food trees, and added energy to the food trees to quickly produce food for two years.

Then Lin En found a group of people who obviously looked like Chinese soldiers from here, came in front of them and looked at them.

After confirming their identities again, Lin En asked, "Who is your leader?"

Hearing that this mysterious person was actually speaking Chinese, Second Chief struggled to get out of his assistant's obstruction and came to Lin En, saying, "I, I am."

Lin En glanced at Second Chief, then gave him the key to the greenhouse, and after explaining it to him in detail, and seeing him nod to indicate he remembered, he was teleported back to the dungeon because the time was up, disappearing in front of them.
