Chapter 1651: Chapter 1651 Under the Divine Wood, Divine Wood Palace
“I need a favor…”
Evan Foster looked at Carson Flores in surprise: “Why are you suddenly so polite? Just tell me what you need!”
Carson smiled and said, “This time when going to the Divine Wood Palace, I hope to visit under your name, um, to put it simply, I won’t show up.”
Evan Foster readily agreed, “Of course, that’s no problem, but can I know why?”
Carson replied, “My relationship with Cristopher Hopkins Immortal is good, but I’m enemies with Maggie Fitzgerald, and she happens to be in charge of the eastern part of the Heavenly Profound Continent. I don’t want her to know about my situation, including the identity of my friends, as I’m afraid it would cause her trouble.”
Evan Foster seemed to understand, and his expression turned sly: “A small matter, of course, it’s not a problem, but seeing how much you care, is it really just friends?”
Carson replied calmly, “My wife.”
Evan Foster’s eyes widened suddenly, “Whoa, you’ve only been in the Immortal Realm for a few years and you already have a wife?”
Carson explained irritably, “What are you talking about? We both came from the Mortal Realm, but because of the spiritual root issues, we joined different sects.”
Evan Foster was surprised, “The Immortal Path is ruthless, yet you managed to cross three realms together in such a short time and even entered the Divine Wood Palace. Her talent must be strong too, right?”
Carson straightforwardly replied, “She didn’t cultivate in the Mortal Realm. Because I was seriously injured, I found a way to send her to a sect in the Barbaric Wilderness Realm. Who knew she was born with a Wood Spirit Physique, so she was highly valued by the sect, and the Divine Wood Palace was eager to take her in as well…”
Evan Foster was shocked, “Wood Spirit Physique? That’s a top-level spiritual root. Your luck is amazing.”
“Okay, using my name to visit the Divine Wood Palace to meet her, even if someone notices, they won’t know any connection to you.”
Carson breathed a sigh of relief. Having shown up at the Northern Mystic Sect earlier, Carson was somewhat worried about being targeted by Maggie Fitzgerald’s people. Naturally, he must be cautious when going to the Divine Wood Palace.
Carson didn’t want to cause Samantha Tate any trouble.
…
“The Divine Wood Palace is located within this continuous mountain range, enveloped by dense primeval forest. Unless one is a cultivator, it’s simply impossible to reach.”
Carson and others rode the Flying Boat, flying over the dense jungle below.
Carson observed the jungle below, marveling, “The trees here are so tall and sturdy; they must be at least a thousand meters high!”
Evan Foster laughed, “That might be why the Divine Wood Sect chose to start their sect here. In a place like this, they have a natural advantage in battles when it comes to using wood attribute spells.”
“These trees are nothing, the giant tree inside the Divine Wood Palace is what’s truly magnificent…”
Carson curiously asked, “Very large?”
Evan Foster laughed, “Not just very large, it’s super massive, towering into the heavens, visible from miles away.”
Soon, Carson saw the giant tree Evan Foster had described. It was so tall that even clouds could only circle around its waist, and its crown rose above the clouds into the sky. Its branches and leaves extended out from the cloud layers, stretching over a hundred miles, blocking out the sun.
The Divine Wood Palace was located beneath the giant tree.
The Divine Wood Palace sat atop a range of majestic mountains, which paled in comparison to the towering Divine Wood.
At the mountain gate, Evan Foster announced his identity and was immediately warmly welcomed into the gate.
The Treasure Path Sect was one of the Top Ten Immortal Sects, and Evan Foster, as the Saint Heir of Treasure Path Sect, naturally had a prestigious status.
Although the Divine Wood Palace was also one of the Top Ten Immortal Sects, there was a distinct gap when compared to the Treasure Path Sect.
The person receiving Evan Foster was Jericho James, an elder of the Divine Wood Palace. After some pleasantries, he asked about Evan Foster’s purpose for visiting.
“What brings the Saint Heir to the Divine Wood Palace this time?”
Evan Foster laughed, “I’m here just to visit a friend.”
Jericho James asked in surprise, “Who is the Saint Heir’s friend?”
Evan Foster laughed, “Samantha Tate, but I’m not sure which peak she is a disciple of. She has a Wood Spirit Physique.”
Jericho James seemed to understand, and there was a bit of curiosity in his expression, “Samantha Tate hasn’t been with our sect long and hasn’t gone out much. How does the Saint Heir know her?”
“Introduced by a friend.”
Evan Foster casually replied, smiling, “May I meet her?”
“Today happens to be the day of the sect competition, she should be at the competition venue. Saint Heir, please follow me.”
Evan Foster curiously asked, “Sect competition?”
Jericho James smiled and explained, “A sparring event among disciples to increase combat experience, held once a year.”
Evan Foster laughed, “That’s quite an event, it seems my luck is good to witness it.”
Jericho James smiled, “If the Saint Heir is interested, you could also enter the competition to guide our Divine Wood disciples.”
Evan Foster shook his head, “That wouldn’t be appropriate.”
Jericho James smiled and didn’t mention it again, knowing that Evan Foster was a top ten strong expert on the Immortal Ranking. If he were to compete, the disciples in the True Immortal Realm within the sect wouldn’t be able to withstand him.
Carson followed closely beside Evan Foster, silent and resembling an attendant.
Evan Foster didn’t introduce him, and Jericho James didn’t ask.
The group crossed several mountain peaks, and suddenly, their view opened up.
Between the mountains lay a giant lake, surrounded by Divine Wood Palace disciples, while on the vast lake surface, two disciples were engaged in an intense battle.
