Chapter 1687: Chapter 1687: Even Heavenly Immortals can’t stop it, what can I use to stop it?

With a shout from Carson Flores, the five Array Flags instantaneously stood upright, rapidly expanding with light flashing on them as the Formation Patterns activated, instantly forming a Great Formation that trapped Clayton Gross’s Primordial Spirit within it.

Five Elements Immortal-Slaying Formation!

Clayton only felt a blur before his eyes; Carson Flores’s figure had disappeared, replaced by an endless white mist, and his perception quickly diminished until it disappeared completely.

He’s trapped by a Formation!

Clayton felt inexplicable panic in his heart; he was genuinely afraid.

Carson’s trump cards were progressively stronger, each more powerful than the last. Now, he was in the Primordial Spirit State; although he had the strength of a Heavenly Immortal, he was nearly spent.

If he fought with all his might, he believed he could kill the two of them in a very short time, but if it turned into a battle of attrition, he feared he would be worn to death!

He had to break the Formation quickly!

However, Carson did not give him the opportunity to break the Formation. As soon as the Five Elements Immortal-Slaying Formation unfolded, the strongest kill move, the Sword Qi Storm, was already initiated.

A storm formed by countless sharp swords enveloped him directly within it.

“Ah!”

In Clayton’s heartrending scream, his angry and unwilling roar echoed: “Break it for me!”

Clayton’s Primordial Spirit emitted a burst of Golden Light, appearing like a blazing sun within the Sword Qi Storm.

Clayton forcefully held open a radiant safe zone amidst the fierce Sword Qi Storm, clinging on until the storm subsided.

Just as Clayton let out a breath of relief, a black metallic orb appeared once more before him, exploding with a thunderous bang.

As soon as the orb exploded, Clayton felt as if his Primordial Spirit had scattered!

The explosion wasn’t particularly powerful, but when it struck Clayton, it felt like the sky had fallen and the world had collapsed.

This magical treasure was specially targeted at the Primordial Spirit!

The power was incredibly immense!

Clayton felt like an egg being wildly shaken, the whites and yolk completely scrambled.

Just as the explosion ended, the Emperor Seal hovered in mid-air, emitting a majestic tremor once more.

Already on the verge of dispersal, Clayton felt like someone had violently shaken him again, throwing his Five Senses into complete disarray.

Who am I?

Where am I?

What am I doing?

Within the Five Elements Immortal-Slaying Formation, the Fire Banner swayed, and a vast cloud of Spectral Elemental Fire silently showered out, enveloping the bewildered Divine Spirit of Clayton.

The Spectral Elemental Fire was the polar opposite of the True Solar Fire, belonging to the utmost Yin flames. It appeared to have no temperature at all, yet its power was extraordinarily immense. Most importantly, it would cling to an object upon contact and burn continuously until the object was reduced to ashes.

The body could be burned, and so could the Primordial Spirit!

Clayton, continuously assaulted by the Sword Qi Storm, Exploding Talisman, and Emperor Seal, was completely dazed. When he finally regained his senses, the first sensation he felt was pain!

Incredibly intense pain!

Pain that penetrated to the bone and soul!

His Primordial Spirit was entirely engulfed in the white Spectral Elemental Fire, which burned ferociously, visibly reducing his Primordial Spirit with each passing moment, just like a melting candle.

“Ah!”

Clayton screamed, trying to extinguish the Spectral Elemental Fire on his body, yet the flames clung on like a parasitic vine, utterly impossible to extinguish.

How could a person engulfed in flames put out their own fire?

“Spare me!”

“Ah!”

“Let me go, I’ll teach you the Sun True Scripture!”

“I’ll serve you as my master!”

“Ah… don’t you want to have a Celestial Level servant?”

Carson Flores, with a calm expression, watched as Clayton, engulfed by the Spectral Elemental Fire, was consumed bit by bit.

There was no trace of excitement or mercy!

After exhausting all his means, he finally had the chance to kill Clayton; why would he stop here?

As for taking Clayton as a slave?

Ha!

A Celestial Level being, capable of being controlled?

Once he caught a breath, even if he pledged loyalty, he would have a hundred ways to kill him in an instant, regaining his freedom.

Carson wasn’t about to take such a risk.

Aiden Roth stood to the side, his gaze satisfied as he watched Clayton gradually dissipate. When he looked at Carson Flores, there was a tinge of wariness in his eyes.

This guy is incredibly strong!

Clayton’s Primordial Spirit didn’t even manage a move before being taken down by Carson Flores’s series of chained attacks!

If he were trapped in this Formation, could he hold out?

The answer was self-evident.

If even a Heavenly Immortal couldn’t withstand it, what could he use to defend himself?

Stubbornness?

Clayton’s figure utterly vanished within the Spectral Elemental Fire. Until his last moment, he never thought he would perish at the hands of two young ones in the True Immortal Realm, his form and spirit completely obliterated.

Clayton’s last thought was deep regret.

If only he had let them go, consumed all the remaining Adventurers to smoothly regain his strength, then left the Cave Mansion, where couldn’t he go in such a vast world?

Could he not gather whatever Essence Blood he wanted?

But his unwillingness to spare their drops of Essence Blood eventually led them to desperately fight him, and they managed to actually take him down.

Why couldn’t he let go, and insist on provoking them?

Having survived through thousands of years, just on the verge of revival, why couldn’t he restrain himself from taking this action?

I hate it!

I regret it!
