Chi Yue took out her mobile phone and saw that it was unexpectedly a call from Fu Rongyin.
Looking at the mobile phone in Fu Rongyin’s hand, she seemed to have realized something. She waved her phone at him, “Did you call me?”

“Yes.”

As Fu Rongyin thought about how to ask her why she had come so late to the hospital, he was taken aback by her question. He was momentarily confused, “What?”
Chi Yue decided not to continue playing charades with him, “That gentleman, he is your biological father, isn’t he? Lady Fan said so, Ms. Xu said so, how long do you plan to keep it from me?”
In an instant, Fu Rongyin had no more enthusiasm to think about the prior matters. He collected his thoughts, “What did they do looking for you?”
“They did nothing, just told me some things. So, when do you plan to tell me the truth?”
Actually, Chi Yue was not insistent on pestering him for the truth but was using this as a final test of his attitude.
Fu Rongyin did not immediately answer her question.
After what seemed like minutes of silence, Fu Rongyin finally gave her the answer she wanted.
“I wasn’t keeping it from you, I just thought it wasn’t necessary to bring you trouble. I’m not planning to return to Beijing, nor am I planning to use the identity of Qi Yizhou, and moreover, I’m not planning to divorce you.”
Chi Yue laughed, “You keep saying you don’t want to divorce me, yet you even hide from me who your biological father is. Doesn’t that treat me like an outsider?”
“I didn’t, I just…”
Fu Rongyin couldn’t continue, because of the way Chi Yue was looking at him.
He sighed, “Chi Yue, I have never treated you as an outsider.”
“Yes, not treating me as an outsider, yet doing things you’d do to a stranger.”
Fu Rongyin choked again.
“Let’s not talk about this anymore. I came here to tell you that Lady Fan found me, suddenly changed her mind and asked me not to divorce you, she seemed to be afraid of something. Also, Ms. Xu found me too, saying you were secretly born by her,”
Chi Yue was also shocked when she found out this news because the previous information had told her that Xuesong and Fu Rongyin’s biological father were forced to part, but Xu Zhenwen told her that it was all Xuesong’s plan.
But now Fu Rongyin’s reaction was very calm, more so in a way that made it seem like he had already known about this.
Chi Yue suddenly realized.
