Chapter 806: Chapter 806: Chi Yue, You’re Angry

In the vast park, Chi Yue and Fu Rongyin sat in front of a large tree. Not far behind them, by the lakeside, were Lu Nanxi and Fan Xuesong, and their conversation could be heard clearly.

“Did you bring what I wanted?” Lu Nanxi asked.

Fan Xuesong replied grumpily, “You called and demanded it last minute. Where was the time to prepare? Where’s what I wanted? I need to see the photos to know if you’re deceiving me.”

Lu Nanxi calmly took out a stack of photos. Before she could speak, Fan Xuesong snatched them away and only glanced at them before attempting to throw them into the lake.

Lu Nanxi reminded her, “I have the originals with me. If you throw away these, I can print countless copies. But Mrs. Gu, by then, I won’t be as accommodating.”

Fan Xuesong held back, her face darkening, “You’ve planned this all along? Lu Nanxi, how shameless can you be?”

“If I cared about shame, how could I have gotten these photos? Back to business, let’s trade face-to-face; you bring over the stock transfer documents, and I’ll give you the originals.”

“How do I know you won’t keep a set?”

“It’s your issue that you don’t trust me, but I do have that bit of integrity.”

Fan Xuesong clearly didn’t believe her, “It’s not the first time you siblings have been untrustworthy. This deal can’t proceed unless you sign a guarantee, with signature and fingerprint, taking legal responsibility if these photos leak from your hands in the future.”

“Okay, I agree. As long as you bring the stock transfer documents, I’ll do as you say.”

In truth, Fan Xuesong didn’t have the stocks anymore. Lu Nanxi wanted the ones in Xi Yihang’s possession, leaving only those held by Gu Qingcheng.

If it weren’t for Fan Xuesong advising Gu Qingcheng, Gu Qingcheng wouldn’t have notarized the assets before marriage, and things would be much simpler now.

Fan Xuesong immediately called her lawyer to send Xi Yihang’s stock transfer documents over.

Xi Yihang had written the stock transfer documents long ago when he went back to being a lawyer, intending to distance himself from the Gu Family.

As a lawyer, he knew better than anyone else that the stocks were deceitfully obtained by Fan Xuesong, and he had no genuine connection to the Gu Family. The stocks were illegitimate, so he discarded potential trouble proactively.

While awaiting the documents, behind the tree, Chi Yue whispered to Fu Rongyin, “What photos does Lu Nanxi have in hand?”

She felt it was related to Fan Xuesong; otherwise, they wouldn’t be valued so much.

She leaned very close, almost touching Fu Rongyin. As the breeze blew by, her long hair slipped inside his collar, tickling him.

Fu Rongyin’s eyes darkened slightly. With a slight turn of his head, he could kiss her lips if he just leaned down a little.

Restrained, he glanced at her attractive thin lips, his Adam’s apple moved slightly, and he said, “They’re computer-generated photos. Of me and Lu Nanxi, inappropriate ones.”

While Fu Rongyin spoke, he was observing Chi Yue’s expression, and he saw her complexion change slightly, her brow softened somewhat.

“Oh.” She straightened up, “Looks like Lady Fan really cares about you.”

Her mind was filled with the words “inappropriate photos,” not realizing how poor her own complexion appeared.

Unexpectedly, Fu Rongyin leaned in, frightening her into stepping back, but a big hand pressed against the back of her head, assertively kissing her.

Chi Yue was stunned.

Once she regained her composure, she pushed him away, her almond eyes widened, “What are you doing!”

Fu Rongyin didn’t let go but looked her in the eyes, “Chi Yue, you’re angry.”
