Chapter 11 After School

Chapter 1 Afternoon Classes

Classes continued in the afternoon.

Attending class was easier than he'd imagined.

Su Yehao recaptured a bit of his student-era feeling. He listened to things he wasn't familiar with, and if he already knew the material, he would simply read and study on his own. Anyway, the teacher didn't bother him, so he enjoyed the peace and quiet.

The afternoon seemed to fly by.

The school bell had barely rung when Jiang Yu from the class next door was already waiting at the door.

Her parents had recently gone to Hong Kong to handle business matters, so Jiang Yu was temporarily staying at the Su household. They went to and from school together.

The school was only so big. Gossip, rumors, and inside information spread constantly. People who knew them were aware of the relationship between Jiang Yu and Su Yehao, so there was no need to deliberately hide it.

Her father, Master Jiang, was also relatively well-known in the gambling scene, having followed Old Su like a shadow for over twenty years.

Rejecting Baoya Jun's suggestion to go to a bar together, Su Yehao checked the time. It was only four-thirty in the afternoon.

There were still quite a few people continuing to study in the classroom. Wei Jiang, the mainland student he had just met at lunch, was one of them.

Wei Jiang acted as if he hadn't heard the dismissal bell. As soon as the teacher left, he took out a test paper and started timed practice.

In addition to him, there were also many students participating in school clubs. They went to club activities in groups of two or three. Many of them took the initiative to greet Su Yehao, but only by calling him "Brother Hao." It was clear that their relationship wasn't much more than that.

Apart from a few close friends like Baoya Jun and Zhugan, Su Yehao seemed to have average popularity on weekdays, perhaps because he was too arrogant and domineering, with no one in his eyes.

Many students respected him, but didn't want to be his friend.

Wei Jiang, on the other hand, noticed that Su Yehao was looking at him and smiled freely, unscrewing his thermos and drinking tea.

After the incident at noon, although they were far from being friends, their relationship had unexpectedly grown closer.

...

Walking out of the classroom, he saw Jiang Yu standing there, sweat still on her forehead.

Su Yehao asked, "P.E. class? Why didn't you take a shower, little girl?"

Jiang Yu gritted her teeth and said resentfully, "Isn't it because I was afraid you'd leave first, and no one would take me home? Taking the school bus is a long way! You snuck off yesterday, and the day before too!"

"...Let's go. School ends so early, it's making me depressed."

He meant compared to when he was in school, when getting home at ten after finishing evening self-study in high school was considered early.

Jiang Yu naturally didn't understand and looked puzzled, but she didn't ask further.

Afraid of being seen going back together and rumors spreading, she deliberately quickened her pace and walked ahead, her back already damp with sweat.

Beneath her white shirt, the black straps of her bra were faintly visible. This was probably what they meant by "fragrant sweat."

The "himself" personally assessed "one large and four small," five beauties. He'd seen the large one, and two of the small ones. Su Yehao wasn't disappointed at all, but rather amazed.

He was still quite curious about what the other two younger beauties looked like.

Although he wasn't used to his past lifestyle of bullying people and spending money everywhere, he had to admit that he had quite the knack for judging girls.

----------------------

The driver was already waiting by the side of the road at the school gate.

He got into the Rolls-Royce, and nothing happened along the way. They arrived home safely.

The setting sun enveloped the city. At dusk, the pink clouds looked very charming.

It was only March, and the days in the Northern Hemisphere were short. After returning to the Panlong Villa on Bishop's Hill, it was dark after resting for a short while.

Su Yehao stood on the balcony, looking towards the city. The old city's tall buildings had already lit up.

In this era,

for mainland residents who had just come to the gambling city or Hong Kong, the outside world might seem prosperous and wonderful.

In Su Yehao's eyes, however, it seemed ordinary. After all, he had seen big scenes before. However, the income level and living environment here were indeed very good, and the nightlife was probably quite exciting.

He hid in his room, deliberately avoiding meeting the two mistresses, mainly because he didn't know how to interact with them.

Around six o'clock,

the maids at home prepared dinner. Su Yehao ate a meal at the table with Second Mistress, Third Mistress, and Jiang Yu, who was staying over.

The maids and housekeeper were also women, clearly a surplus of women and a deficiency of men. It was very quiet during the meal. They only talked about school topics, which made Su Yehao relieved.

He had only glanced briefly last night and hadn't seriously looked at the decorations in the house.

There were dragonfish in the aquarium at the entrance, with the four traditional characters "Zhao Cai Jin Bao" (bringing in wealth and treasure) written on it, which was a bit tacky. A Bagua mirror was also hung on the wall, and a statue of the God of Wealth was enshrined not far away. Judging from the smell, incense was probably burned regularly.

This villa was very expensive, but compared to the mansion Su Yehao had imagined, it had too much of a living atmosphere and was obviously a bit different.

As early as now, he was already thinking that when he was a little older, he could find a reason to move out and live alone.

It was nice for the whole family to live together, but to him, they were just strangers, so he couldn't help but feel uncomfortable.

Third Mistress was drinking tonic soup. She had a smile on her face at the moment and asked, "Little Hao, it's rare for you to come home so early today. Could it be that you're trying to get close because Miss Jiang Yu is staying here? I'm a little unaccustomed to seeing you so taciturn and absent-minded."

Jiang Yu heard the teasing and her delicate face turned slightly red.

Second Mistress was about to go out to play mahjong, carrying a Hermes crocodile skin bag. She put on makeup and said with a smile, "Could it be that you've used up your allowance in advance? I still have more than 20,000 here. How about you take it first, Little Hao, and I'll go get more later."

They had lived under the same roof for so many years.

The relationship between Second Mistress and Third Mistress could barely be considered harmonious. If they had the ability to drive the other away, they would have done it many years ago. Why would they wait until today?

Now that they were in their forties, they didn't have any other thoughts to think about.

If they caused trouble and aroused Old Su's displeasure, it might suit his wishes and he could find an excuse to no longer think of old times and sweep them all out the door.

You should know that neither of them had children, and neither of them was the legal wife. They had long since reached the stage of old age and declining beauty. Neither of them wanted to cause more trouble. Moreover, he was keeping a Fourth Mistress outside. That canary was not easy to deal with.

Each had her own thoughts, and that was how a delicate balance was formed.

Seeing that Second Mistress had already taken out the money, Su Yehao felt that it wouldn't be like him if he didn't accept it. Without saying a word, he happily accepted it and stuffed it all into his pocket, explaining, "Second Mistress, Third Mistress, I'm fine. I'm just tired from drinking yesterday. I'll drive out for a stroll later."

Third Mistress also took a stack of pocket money from her bag, about 20,000 gambling city dollars. She put down her bowl and spoon, got up, and said, "If you have nothing to do, take Jiang Yu out for a stroll. I'm going out to dance too. I also have to get my hair done when I have time. The color isn't right."

The lives of rich women were nothing more than spending money to have fun all day long, without having to go to work.

They couldn't get involved in business matters.

When you really delved into it, half of Old Su's wealth belonged to Su Yehao's biological mother. They didn't divorce and divide the property back then, and they were still legally married to this day.

Having received more than 40,000 pocket money for no reason, Su Yehao finally understood why there was so much cash in his schoolbag.

He had originally wanted to talk to Old Su about business matters since he had come home so early, but he was late in coming back and probably had social engagements.

Feeling bored and not wanting to watch any TV series, he simply dragged Jiang Yu, who was sitting in front of the TV watching *Zombie Daoist*, out for a drive.

He knew how to drive, but he had never driven a supercar before. Su Yehao had been itching to try it for a long time.

Since he was going to choose, he had to choose the McLaren F1 Limited Edition, with its orange body and handsome design.

It was just a pity that the chassis was too low, as if he was driving close to the ground, which was very uncomfortable.

Soon, a roar resounded, and he slowly drove onto the road.

As long as Su Yehao thought that this car was worth several million, he didn't dare to step on the accelerator hard. He couldn't get his mindset right and was always afraid of scratching it...
