Chapter 745: 734: Poison

Chapter 745: Chapter 734: Poison

“You really know how to pick your moment!”

The space on the second floor of the dining hall was far from as large as the first floor, because this area was designated for Wang Billion’s business elite subordinates to dine. Although it was smaller than the first floor, the decorations were much more upscale. Wang Billion was sitting in an area similar to a private room, except that this sort of private room was open.

Song Yun slowly walked up to Wang Billion, then, without glancing at the dozen or so wary-faced bodyguards, he pulled a chair over and sat down. He then said, “I told you I was going to find you.”

“Heh, seems like you’ve been staking out the place for quite a while,” Wang Billion commented after cutting a piece of steak and chewing a few bites.

“Mhm, for a long while, but it was all worth it.” Song Yun crossed his legs and looked at Wang Billion before whispering, “Today, you’re going to die.”

“Arrogant!” Wang Billion slapped the table fiercely, prompting more than ten bodyguards, excluding the unseen Ghost King and the Qilin, to rush forward.

Meanwhile, Song Yun snapped his fingers, and the thirty-odd people following him immediately charged.

The two groups clashed in the center of the dining hall.

Wang Billion’s bodyguards were skilled, but Song Yun’s men were not to be underestimated. They were armed, and as soon as they engaged, Wang Billion’s side was at a disadvantage. In less than ten seconds, several had already fallen into pools of blood.

“Come back.” Wang Billion commanded sharply, with a hint of seriousness on his face. He hadn’t expected the thirty men Song Yun brought to be so formidable. Although they had the numbers, his own men were top-notch fighters, who could typically take on a dozen opponents with ease. Now, they were being overwhelmed, leaving Wang Billion more cautious of Song Yun.

“Hehe, Song Yun, I’ve been waiting for you,” a piercing laugh echoed from the entrance. The Ghost King, his face purplish-blue, took a step forward. Just one step, and a black line stretched out from under his foot.

“Fall back!” Song Yun bellowed, prompting his men to immediately retreat. He then hit the armrest of his chair, leaping at the Ghost King.

Song Yun quickly recognized the shadow under the Ghost King’s foot as a black lizard.

He had seen countless lizards but had never come across a black one. The lizard, about one meter long, was covered in scales that shimmered with a dark glow, an indication of potent poison!

The lizard was incredibly fast; within two breaths, it had reached Song Yun. Song Yun drew a similarly black dagger from behind, holding it in his hand!

Seven Kills!

This was Song Yun’s personal Divine Weapon, Seven Kills!

Seven Kills traced a dark gleam through the air, aiming straight for the lizard’s head, but the lizard was remarkably agile. It twisted its body, avoiding Song Yun’s dagger as it was about to pierce it!

As Song Yun thought to change tactics, a buzzing noise arose around him!

Poisonous bugs!

Upon closer inspection, Song Yun realized he was surrounded by over a hundred toxic bugs, each one tiny, comparable to mosquitoes!

The bugs swirled around Song Yun, leaving no angle for him to evade!

“Die!!” the Ghost King hummed triumphantly as the bugs launched an attack on Song Yun.

“Ugh,” Song Yun’s muscles instantly hardened.

The bugs crashed against Song Yun’s body as if they hit an iron plate.

“You’re the one who’s going to die!” Song Yun gathered his focus and opened his mouth wide.

“Moo!”

A murky noise emanated from Song Yun’s mouth, amplifying as it spread from his lips.

With the sound expanding, the bugs encircling Song Yun were pushed outwards, as if by a wall; some even passed out from the vibration.

During Song Yun’s effort to neutralize the bugs, the black lizard still managed to reach him and leaped into the air!

Lizards could jump?

Song Yun had only ever seen lizards run. A few types could leap from branches, but this one, sprinting and suddenly jumping, was new to him.

The lizard opened its mouth, aimed at Song Yun’s neck.

Song Yun threw a punch.

You’re nimble on the ground; it’s tough to catch you. But what about agility in the air?

With one punch, Song Yun hammered down on the lizard’s head.

A crack sounded, and the formidable-looking lizard slumped to the ground with its tongue out, showing no sign of life.

As Song Yun wondered why the lizard was so weak, a wave of soreness suddenly surged from his hand that had hit the lizard.

A closer look revealed his hand had turned a slight purplish hue.

“Did you really think the toxic lizard could bite?” the Ghost King approached Song Yun, laughing. “The toxic lizard isn’t good at attacking. Its deadliest weapon is the poison on its skin. Even through the skin, this toxin can paralyze an adult in three seconds.”

Feeling the soreness on his arm, Song Yun frowned slightly, then fiercely hardened his arm again!

Thankfully, he could still harden it, but the sensation of soreness persisted!

It seemed a quick battle was in order. Song Yun rushed towards the Ghost King.

However, the Ghost King simply tossed his hand up, and a little purple snake flew out from his sleeve, heading for Song Yun.

As it reached Song Yun, the snake opened its mouth wide, spraying a light yellow liquid at him.

Song Yun twisted his body to dodge the liquid. It hit the granite floor, hissing on impact, and a green smoke arose.

Deadly poison!

Seven Kills streaked through the air, slicing the little snake in two.

“Hee hee hee, not bad,” the Ghost King remarked while reaching into his bosom and fumbling around. Shortly, a colorful toad appeared in his hand.

“Come, give daddy a kiss.” The Ghost King extended his hand to the toad, which then bit him squarely on the hand.

The Ghost King put the toad back into his bosom, and his body shook as his leg muscles bulged, and his pupils transformed from round to vertical slits.

“Let me show you what the Toad Technique is all about.” The Ghost King laid flat on the floor, coiled his legs, and pushed against the ground.

Boom!

The granite floor shattered, and Song Yun grinned, swinging his fist towards the jumping toad.

Want to face off? I’m not scared!
