Chapter 165: Eldoria!
{Mate’s current health point: 1,000,000.}
Sunny stared at the health in silence, not knowing what to say or do.
Josephine’s surprised voice cut through Sunny’s thoughts, pulling him from the depths of his shock:
"Love... I... I felt something."
He turned to face her, his expression a mask of calm, though his mind was still reeling from the health point notification.
"Like what?" he asked, his voice steady.
"I can’t explain it..." she said, her hands trembling slightly.
Sunny gave a light chuckle, hoping to ease her unease:
"Infinite is grateful. Keep the egg safe until I find a way to set whatever is in there out," he said.
The sheer power radiating from the egg was a tangible presence, and he knew he had to be cautious with it.
Josephine blinked, her eyes wide with a mix of awe and disbelief.
"Grateful?" she whispered, lowering her gaze to the egg in her hands. She felt a profound connection to it, a bond that transcended mere possession, but why?
"Can it hear us?" she asked, her voice hushed.
"It seems so." Sunny nodded, his focus shifting back to the prepared soil. "Let’s get back to the main topic today."
He snapped his fingers, and with a flash of light, ten million grand-class mercenaries appeared in the sky, a vast army of souls hovering above the crowd. Their collective presence cast a chilling shadow over the city.
"Ten million mercenaries, that is more than enough boost," he stated, his voice resonating with authority. With a thought, the mercenaries shattered into pure energy, their forms dissolving into a crimson mist that flowed into the soil.
"Everyone! Fifty meters, back!"
Sunny’s command was immediate, and the people, without hesitation, moved backward, a wave of humanity receding from the central point.
{Congratulations Master!! Yggdrasil has recognized you as its new Master.}
{Master can now start the process.}
"Back," Sunny repeated, turning to Josephine.
"Yes," she replied, carefully storing the egg and taking Ellen’s hand before retreating to a safe distance.
"Grow Yggdrasil!" Sunny commanded, his voice a low rumble.
BOOOOM!!!!!
A collective gasp swept through the crowd as a colossal tree trunk burst from the soil, shooting into the sky. Branches and leaves unfurled at an impossible speed, and in less than twenty seconds, a gigantic tree, standing sixty meters tall, stood at the center of the city.
"Oh my goodness!! Can a tree grow this big?!" someone exclaimed.
"Its leaves cover 70% of the city!!" another yelled in awe.
"Now, Yggdrasil," Sunny commanded again.
Before everyone’s stunned gaze, the tree began to shift. The branches retracted, the leaves vanished, and in their place, a huge green pillar stood, glowing with an unknown energy. Sunny stretched out his hand, and the protection orb appeared in his palm, floating toward the pillar and merging with it.
"With this much energy, you will be able to cover the whole three walls," he murmured.
’Now, system.’
{Process completed.}
{Protection Zone has been successfully created.}
BOOOOM!!!
A pillar of light shot from Yggdrasil, exploding in the sky. A force field spread out from the point of impact, enveloping the entire city and beyond.
"He actually created a force barrier... And judging by the energy it’s emanating, this is no ordinary barrier," Mila muttered, a rare smile gracing her face.
"A great king," she stated with conviction.
{Shield successfully placed.}
{Due to Yggdrasil, shield defense has been upgraded.}
{Shield defense: 100,000,000.}
{Effects: Master can shape the atmosphere to his liking.}
{Effects: All enemies who enter the stones will have all their stats halved.}
{Effects: Master’s and soldiers’ stats will increase by 50% when inside the zone.}
{Effects: Complete security: No creature can enter without Master knowing.}
’Such a strong defense... These effects are just extra cream on the cake,’ Sunny thought, staring at the massive pillar. It was so wide that twenty men holding hands wouldn’t be able to hug it. With a thought, the sky above the city changed.
Beautiful, colorful lights, a celestial ballet of green, red, pink, blue, and yellow, began to dance across the heavens.
’On Earth, I always wanted to travel to Antarctica just to see the Aurora sky... Here, I can make it possible with just a thought.’ A rare, genuine smile appeared on Sunny’s face.
The people stood in silent reverence, their eyes fixed on the spectacle above.
"So beautiful," someone whispered.
"Wow! The King is a god! He even has the power to change the sky," another said in awe.
"So beautiful," Blood Eye murmured, a look of profound wonder in her eyes.
"How did he do this? Is it because of that pillar or tree?" Jinx muttered, her gaze fixed on the sky.
"As I said, nothing is impossible before the God Wolf," Nioh said, a wide, triumphant smile spreading across his face.
Sunny took a deep breath and turned to the people, his voice ringing out with newfound purpose:
"My fellow people!!" he yelled, capturing their full attention.
"Today is the start of a new beginning for us... Today, our nation took the fifth position on the nation strength ranking board!! And I won’t stop until we sit on the first position!" His gaze swept over the crowd, his eyes meeting theirs.
"And I need you all to make that possible!! The Queen and I have been thinking, and we finally came to a decision! I want to share it with all of you." He smiled warmly at Josephine and his subordinates.
"This decision is about the name of our nation!! For generations, our nation has remained nameless!! That will be changed today!" he announced, watching the smiles spread across their faces.
"Our nation will be named Eldoria... From now on, we will be known as citizens of Eldoria, home of all races!! From now onwards!! We will keep on rising until we become the strongest nation!! That I promise you all!!"
"Yess!!!" a man screamed, his voice filled with jubilant passion.
"Eldoria!!!"
"We are Eldoria!!!"
"Eldoria is the strongest nation!!!"
"YESSS!!!!"
Sunny stood amidst his people, hearing their cheers and jubilations, a smile of quiet satisfaction on his face. The weight of his new power was heavy, but the loyalty and hope of his people made it a burden he was more than willing to bear.
