End of Volume Thoughts

Actually, I didn't initially plan to write this war so long, but because I haven't written large-scale scenes much before, I was a bit eager to try, so I just wrote it.

Regardless of whether it's well-written or not, it's ultimately my own attempt and breakthrough.

Long ago, I said that I always dreamed of being able to write whatever I wanted to write to my heart's content after having no worries about food and clothing.

This book, *The Descent of Magic*, is a completely new experience for Long, who used to be good at writing episodic plots with small twists.

It's like someone who used to run short sprints now starting to run a marathon.

The reason why the war stopped here is primarily because Long himself was a little tired of writing war plots for too long.

At last year's annual meeting, Long complained to a historical fiction author, saying that you shouldn't skip over it whenever you encounter a battle, as you miss out on a lot of exciting details!

He said: Damn, whenever I write war details, readers say it's boring, I'm also very helpless!

Then I said: You're a loser, I'll write it for you to see in the future!

This year at the annual meeting, we were sitting together again, and I said: Damn, war scenes are really hard to write, and some of my readers also say they find them a bit boring.

He: Hahahaha!

This is a true story;

However, you'll never learn some things if you don't practice them, if you don't try them. You always have to practice and experience them, so thank you all for being food tasters for Long's new dishes.

The main reason for ending this plot here is to use this plot to prop up the world-building and some characters, and to prepare a stage for the following stories of the protagonist and the Demon Lords.

After all, the book is called *The Descent of Magic* and not *The Chronicles of the Great Yan*.

After a while, Long will tinker around a bit to see if he can make a world map and post it in the book review section.

Next, a new volume will be opened, and it will be unfolded more from the perspective of the protagonist and the Demon Lords. It should be more down-to-earth and more flavorful. I myself am also very much looking forward to it.

Also, I think I'm influenced by TV dramas, and I really think the eunuch director has a lot of flavor.

Lastly,

There will inevitably be more things to do during the Chinese New Year, but Long will continue to write during the New Year without taking a vacation, so don't panic.

I also want to wish everyone a Happy New Year in advance.

Happy Chinese New Year, and may you be prosperous!
