Chapter 105 The Detective Segment

Upon arriving at the canteen, Wang Muman and Shen Jiaxin exchanged awkward glances, feeling restless. Shen Jiaxin had been dragged along; she had wanted to continue playing basketball, but Zhang Jiayi had threatened her, saying Wang Muman needed her, so she came.

After Wang Muman explained the whole situation, Shen Jiaxin felt extremely embarrassed, having thought the two beside her were staring at something.

"You two, that's enough. Hurry up and eat, don't be so agitated," Wang Muman patted He Lele.

"My suggestion is, just shout out in the canteen: Who wrote the love letter? Isn't that simple?" Shen Jiaxin's idea was straightforward yet mortifying.

He Lele turned her head back and forth, her eyes alert, which made Wang Muman smile.

"What's this about, playing detective?"

"Hey! Yan Cheng and his group are also here." He Lele waved at Yan Cheng. She knew full well they must have overheard He Lele and Zhang Jiayi's plotting.

"Li Zhentao is there too!" Zhang Jiayi glanced at He Lele discreetly, finding no anomaly, and breathed a sigh of relief.

"Don't mind him. The main thing now is to find the target. Do you think that greasy guy would be very fat?" He Lele spotted a chubby boy.

Wang Muman felt like a monkey in a zoo. After reading those letters, she suddenly felt surrounded by many people, yet she didn't know who they were. One was particularly artistic, clearly a humanities student, with the entire text filled with poetic and subtle expressions.

The two beside her were already analyzing, it felt like they would go and ask them any second.

"Hey, hey, hey, a guy is looking at us. He's quite handsome. Wow, he must be a senior. If he were in the same grade, I'd definitely know about such a handsome guy." Zhang Jiayi nudged He Lele, pointing with her chin.

"Indeed, indeed. Do you have a plan? If you want to ask, I'll go." He Lele's social butterfly nature emerged.

Shen Jiaxin put her hand to her forehead. It seemed the nature of the situation had shifted. She spread her hands towards Wang Muman, lowered her head, and slurped her noodles.

Wang Muman watched the two reach an agreement and walk directly over to talk to the guy, unable to help but admire their courage. When they returned, their expressions were filled with unconcealed joy and a touch of girlish shyness.

"Muman, I think using your name is so convenient. He's a senior, and one of your love letters is from him. We've even gotten his contact information for you," Zhang Jiayi said, her face flushed as if from the sun.

Shen Jiaxin chimed in, "Why don't you guys chat with him yourselves? Muman isn't interested."

This remark only made them more excited.

"A senior in his final year, do you guys want to chat with him too?" Wang Muman frowned. "He's already in his final year, he probably doesn't have time to chat with junior schoolmates." Wang Muman thought that seniors in their final year, with the college entrance exams approaching, were still engaging in such things, and she wondered what kind of person he was.

"Don't worry about it, Muman. I believe you don't have such intentions, so we'll help you find out!" He Lele and Zhang Jiayi spoke in unison, like a duet, and Wang Muman couldn't say much.

After eating, Wang Muman left with Shen Jiaxin. The other two secretly followed the senior, trying to find out which class he was in.

Back in the classroom, Wang Muman put her snacks into a bag and placed it in He Lele's large box. She wasn't taking it back, so He Lele could eat it.

"Muman, Zhang Jiayi and I already know his specific class. Impressive, right?" He Lele proudly announced to Wang Muman, holding a grilled sausage in her hand.
