Chapter 26 Father and Son Meet

“Young man, you want to see our President. May I ask who you are and what your relationship is with him?”

The receptionists, two sweet-looking female employees, one of them bent down and asked in a low voice.

“He is my daddy. Please call him and ask him to come down and pick me up,” Chen Chen replied, standing up straight, his voice resounding.

What? The President is his daddy? The female receptionist’s legs went weak, and she almost fell.

She quickly held onto the counter, picked up the phone, and dialed the internal line.

On the 22nd floor, in the President’s office, Qin Si Ye had just closed his computer and stood up, preparing to return to the Qin family villa to see Shen Xi, who was treating his grandmother. However, the phone on his desk rang.

“Hello?”

“Hello? President, there’s a little boy in the lobby who claims to be your son and wants to see you,” Zhao Ze said in a low, cautious voice.

Where had this bold little brat come from, daring to come alone to claim kinship?

Qin Si Ye, on the other end of the phone, was so shocked that he couldn’t speak for a long time.

Zhao Ze said, “It’s probably a prank. I’ll go down and drive him away.”

“Wait,” Qin Si Ye slowly sat down and said, “You personally bring him up.”

He wanted to see what kind of child it was who dared to impersonate his son.

Five minutes later, Chen Chen was brought into Qin Si Ye’s office by Zhao Ze.

The two of them met eyes and remained silent, scrutinizing each other without blinking.

In Qin Si Ye’s eyes, the child was handsome, with delicate features and fair, tender skin. He didn’t look like him at all.

Yet, for some reason, he saw a trace of Yin Xi in the little boy.

It must be my eyes playing tricks on me, he thought, immediately closing his eyes to dismiss the idea.

Chen Chen, on the other hand, had basically concluded that Qin Si Ye was his daddy.

Moreover, he noticed that his daddy was even more handsome in person than in the online photos, and a sense of pride rose in his heart.

“Daddy, I finally found you!” Chen Chen spoke first, his eyes filled with excitement and anticipation.

His heart jolted. Zhao Ze quickly intervened, “Little boy, you shouldn’t call people whatever you want.”

Qin Si Ye waved a hand at him, his lips curving slightly, as if piqued. “What’s your name?”

“Shen Zi Chen,” Chen Chen replied.

Daddy wasn’t just handsome, his voice was also so pleasant to listen to.

Qin Si Ye frowned, “You say I’m your daddy, but I’ve never seen you before. What proof do you have?”

Chen Chen knew that the three of them, his siblings, took after their mother more. Only his eyes and eyebrows bore some resemblance to Qin Si Ye.

However, if one didn’t look closely, it was hard to tell. It seemed that his appearance was not convincing at all.

But he had a trump card – physical evidence.

He calmly took out a box from his bag and placed it in front of Qin Si Ye.

“I have a jade bracelet here. Take a look, is it yours?”

The inner side of the jade bracelet was engraved with the character "Qin," and he had specifically searched online for the value of similar jade bracelets.

The reported value was tens of millions, so he guessed it must be from a prominent family. Coupled with the slight resemblance to Qin Si Ye, he had found his way here.

A jolt of surprise ran through Qin Si Ye. He sat down, quickly opened the box, took out the jade bracelet, and examined it carefully, his gaze deepening.

“How do you have this jade bracelet?”

“You admit this jade bracelet is yours?” Chen Chen asked back, instead of answering his question directly.

“Yes. It is indeed a Qin family jade bracelet,” Qin Si Ye said with certainty.

Although he hadn’t examined this jade bracelet closely, he had seen another one from his mother when he was young, and knew that it was engraved with the character "Qin" on the inside.

“Okay,” Chen Chen smiled at him. “Of course, this jade bracelet belongs to my mommy. Otherwise, why would I be looking for daddy with it?”

“Your mommy? What’s her name?” Qin Si Ye pressed.
