"What do you want? Who sent you?" Mei Yun took a deep breath, calming herself down, and quickly typed on the screen.
Qin Xiuyi’s reply came back quickly, but it was evasive.
"It's been half a month. Mei Yun, you're finally willing to speak to me."
Mei Yun immediately typed back impatiently, "Just leave. I don't want to see you."
A dozen seconds later, she saw Qin Xiuyi's stubborn reply, "No. I finally found you, and I won't leave today until I see you."
"Qin Xiuyi, don't push me too far. If you don't leave, I'll call the police." Mei Yun was just as firm, even more so than him.
After a brief pause, Qin Xiuyi sent a long message.
"Mei Yun, I traveled all this way to find you, not eating well, not sleeping well, and you're just going to shut me out and not even let me see you?
I spoke with Si Ye last night. I know everything that happened to him, Shen Xi, and your nephew these past few days.

A moment later, Qin Xiuyi saw a tall, ethereal woman walking towards him.
He hadn't seen her for over half a month. The woman was still as beautiful and captivating as ever, drawing his gaze, but a hint of sadness lingered on her face.
Unable to contain his excitement, Qin Xiuyi walked forward quickly and pulled her into a hug.
Her body stiffened, and Mei Yun, shocked, pushed him away forcefully.
"Qin Xiuyi, what are you doing? Are you being indecent?"
The man gazed at her sadly, "Mei Yun, why would you think that? I told you I like you."
"You say you like me, and that's your best excuse to hug me? I never agreed to date you." Mei Yun tidied her coat and continued coldly, "Speak. Spit out your so-called important news."
"Mei Yun, you... why are you even scolding me now?" Qin Xiuyi looked at her with hurt in his eyes.
Mei Yun was getting impatient and turned to leave, "Are you going to say it or not? If not, I'm leaving."
"Okay. Don't go, I'll tell you." Qin Xiuyi gently tugged her arm, then quickly pulled his hand back. "What did your nephew say to you yesterday?"
Mei Yun wanted to reply, "What business is it of yours?" But she also wanted to know what this important matter he mentioned was.
She answered calmly, "He came back and told me that Qin Si Ye had already arrived here and that Shen Xi had met with him several times. He decided to give up and stop pursuing Shen Xi."
"That's all?" Qin Xiuyi asked with a frown.
"Yes. Is there any other hidden story?" Mei Yun looked at him with confusion.
"A lot happened yesterday. It seems you don't know anything," Qin Xiuyi finally understood why Mei Yun couldn't move on from this incident.
So, he told her the entire story that he had pried out of Qin Si Ye.
"What are you saying? Kai Cheng kidnapped Xi Xi? And your nephew was injured and hospitalized?" Hearing this, Shen Xi looked at him in disbelief.
"Yes. I went to the hospital as soon as I arrived here last night. His leg was stitched up, and it will take about half a month to fully recover."
Qin Xiuyi's gaze darkened. Thinking of his nephew lying alone in the hospital bed, he felt a pang of sadness.
If he remembered correctly, this was the first time Si Ye had been hospitalized in his life.
And it was in a foreign country, to boot.
