Chapter 479 A Punch to Him

Qin Siye was in a panic, his brow furrowed as he paced back and forth in the hall. Suddenly, he remembered his grandmother mentioning that the person who had taken Si Yue away was surnamed Han.

He took a deep breath and immediately called Shen Xi's mobile phone.

"Hello?"

"Hello? Xi Xi, do you have Han Haoming's phone number? Can you contact him?"

"What's wrong? What happened?"

Qin Siye's voice trembled slightly as he recounted what he knew and suspected to her.

"I have his number. Don't worry, I'll call and ask."

Soon, Shen Xi found Han Haoming's mobile number in her contacts and immediately dialed it.

Two minutes later, she called Qin Siye back.

"I've already contacted Han Haoming. He said Si Yue is at the First People's Hospital. She..."

However, before she could finish speaking, Qin Siye had already hung up the phone.

Shen Xi's heart skipped a beat. She quickly got up, put on her mask, changed her clothes, and ran downstairs.

When she rushed to the First People's Hospital, she saw Qin Siye punching Han Haoming hard in the corridor on the first floor of the emergency building.

Han Haoming staggered backward, looking at Qin Siye with ice-cold eyes. He clenched his fists but didn't retaliate.

Trembling slightly, Shen Xi hurried toward them. Just as Qin Siye was about to throw a second punch, she forcefully grabbed his arm and shouted, "Qin Siye, stop!"

Qin Siye glanced at her and said coldly, "Shen Xi, get out of the way. I won't let him off easily today."

"No. Qin Siye, calm down." Shen Xi quickly walked between them, blocking him with her arms. "He didn't drug her. Why are you hitting him?"

"Of course, it has something to do with him. If he hadn't made Si Yue sad, why would she have gotten drunk and given that beast an opportunity?" Qin Siye's voice was dark and agitated, his hands clenched tightly, making a "crackling" sound.

Shen Xi quickly turned her face and looked at the man behind her. "Han Haoming, what exactly happened?"

On the phone just now, she had only learned that Qin Si Yue had been drugged and sent to the First People's Hospital.

Fearing Qin Siye would be too anxious, she had called him back without asking for the specific details.

Han Haoming lightly wiped the blood from the corner of his lips, his eyes filled with guilt. He slowly straightened up. "Mr. Qin is right. It's all my fault. Shen Xi, don't stop him. Let him hit me; perhaps it will relieve his anger."

"What are you saying? Han Haoming, you're a police officer, for goodness' sake. Do you also like to solve problems with violence?"

Hearing this, Shen Xi looked at him in disbelief and then glared at Qin Siye.

"And you, your wound isn't even fully healed yet, and you've already forgotten the pain?"

Qin Siye was rendered speechless by her reprimand, and his clenched hands finally relaxed slowly.

"Han Haoming, get lost. Disappear from my sight quickly, or don't blame me for being rude."

At this moment, a nurse walked out of a room ahead and said loudly, "What are you arguing about? This is a hospital. Can you be quiet?"

Shen Xi quickly pulled Qin Siye's arm and led him into the room. "Alright, alright, stop talking. Let's go in and see Si Yue first."

Just as the door was about to close, she looked back at Han Haoming, waving her arm to signal him to leave quickly.

The two of them hurried to Qin Si Yue's bedside and found her face flushed, her head constantly swaying from side to side, and beads of sweat forming on her forehead.

Qin Siye heartachely grasped her hand. "Si Yue, Si Yue, brother is here. Don't be afraid, don't be afraid."

Shen Xi quickly grabbed the washbasin by the bed, refilled it with warm water, and gently and meticulously wiped away the sweat on her face.

After wiping several times, Qin Si Yue finally settled down, her complexion returning to normal. She fell into a deep sleep.

"Is this enough? She won't..." Qin Siye asked worriedly, looking at Shen Xi with a stern face.

"Yes. The doctor should have given her an antidote. She'll be fine after a good sleep," Shen Xi said, then picked up the basin and walked towards the washroom.

After coming out, she asked, "Did you reply to Grandma?"

"Not yet." Qin Siye took out his phone and was about to dial, but Shen Xi, fearing he wouldn't explain well and would worry Grandma, quickly said, "I'll call. You stay here and watch Si Yue."

With that, she pushed the door open and walked out of the room.

Han Haoming leaned against the wall. Seeing her emerge, he immediately stood up straight and asked, "Shen Xi, how is she... how is she?"
