Opening the medical kit, Shen Xi took out a silver needle and sat on the single sofa on the side. She found the acupoint and slowly twisted the needle inward.
Qin Si Ye frowned slightly. As the second needle was inserted, he immediately felt a great sense of relief in his head.
He asked abruptly, "Do you treat patients like this in the hospital today?"
"Ah?" Shen Xi was surprised by his question. After a moment of hesitation, she replied, "Yes."
The distorted and pained expression of Su Chengyu suddenly appeared before her eyes, and the corners of her lips couldn't help but curl up slightly.
The person this morning had suffered quite a bit under her care.

Among the patients who sought her for acupuncture, there must be male patients. The thought of her fair hands attending to other men made him unhappy.
He felt like he was at a disadvantage.
"How is that possible?" Hearing this, Shen Xi immediately denied it. Then, fearing he wouldn't believe her, she added, "I've never done this before. You're the first."
"Really?" Qin Si Ye's expression immediately changed from a dark cloud to a clear sky. "Does that mean that in your heart, I am different from others?"

What she meant was that what she was doing was merely to thank him, and to prevent him from overthinking.
Qin Si Ye smiled dismissively. "It's fine. As long as in your heart, I am different from others, that's all that matters. Many relationships may develop from gratitude."
Shen Xi paused for a moment and did not respond to his words, continuing her movements.
After a moment, she spoke, "You don't need to pick me and the children up tomorrow. I'll be out for the whole day."
Qin Si Ye closed his eyes hazily, not hearing her clearly, and softly responded, "Okay."
After the massage, Shen Xi intended to change the dressing on the wound on his hand and leave. However, Qin Si Ye insisted on showering first before attending to it.
Shen Xi frowned. "Your hand is injured, and you've been drinking. Perhaps it would be better to wash it tomorrow morning?"
Looking back at her, Qin Si Ye's lips curved into a sly smile. "If you're worried I might fall, why don't you help me?"
His words left Shen Xi speechless.
She glared at him fiercely, stood up, and lowered her head to pack the medical kit.
Seeing her anger, Qin Si Ye immediately tugged at her arm and apologized, "Don't be angry, I was just joking. Wait for me, I'll be out soon."
After saying that, he let go of her and walked towards the washroom.
In his heart, he thought: One day, I will make you willingly help me bathe.
More than ten minutes later, Qin Si Ye emerged from the washroom wearing a grey striped pajama set. He leaned against the doorframe, panting heavily.
Upon seeing him, Shen Xi quickly walked over and asked, "What's wrong?"
"I'm a little dizzy," Qin Si Ye said, extending his arm towards Shen Xi.
