Chapter 214: Mrs lira’s defense (18+)

The crown prince’s scowl deepened, his lips pressed thin. For a heartbeat, it seemed he might respond, might press the weight of his authority further, but he didn’t. Instead, he stepped back into the crowd, retreating with a stiff motion that was not quite defeat, but not victory either.

It was rare to see Sun silenced, and the sight alone sparked murmurs that ran like electricity through the gathered students.

Mrs. Lira allowed the moment to settle, let the silence hammer home the lesson without needing further words. When she did speak, her voice carried clear and commanding, pulling every wandering gaze back to her.

"Listen well," she said. "Today was no simple test. What you faced was dangerous, and it will not be the last time. There are powers beyond these walls that would use you, or destroy you. Remember that."

Her eyes swept the group, lingering on the nervous, the curious, the doubtful. When they passed over Jae, they hesitated for a fraction longer, the weight of unspoken warning and acknowledgment in equal measure. "And remember that strength always draws attention, both from those who would follow, and those who would seek to bring you down."

Her words settled heavy in the chest, more sobering than comforting. For some students, they stirred ambition. For others, dread. And for Jae, they were simply truth he already knew too well.

The crowd broke into murmurs again, restless and thoughtful. Some students looked to Jae with something like respect. Others with suspicion. More than a few with both. It was the kind of attention that could build or break, and Jae had no illusions about which way the wind might turn.

He didn’t need to glance around to know the eyes on him had shifted. He could feel them, sharp as daggers, heavy as chains. His Dragonfire Blade might have vanished back into memory, but its glow lingered, burning bright in the minds of everyone who had seen it.

Byun clapped him lightly on the shoulder, his grin restored, though his eyes held the seriousness of someone who understood more than he said aloud. "Reckless farmboy or not," he said with deliberate cheer, "you did good."

Elise’s lips pressed into a thin, tight line. Her anger from before hadn’t cooled, but now it was tempered into a different kind of fire, protective, loyal, unyielding. She looked at Jae with fierce determination, her voice soft but edged. "Don’t let him get to you."

Tirel, ever irreverent, tossed her hair back with a playful smirk, her sharpness softened once more into her usual teasing lilt. "If anything, you made him look small. And isn’t that the best revenge?"

Jae chuckled faintly, though it was more breath than sound. His hand drifted absently through his hair, brushing sweat and soot from his temple. He didn’t answer them directly. He didn’t need to. His silence carried its own weight.

Instead, his gaze returned once more to the remains of the beast.

In the cozy dimness of Jae’s dorm room, Yuna lay stretched out on her back, her blonde hair fanned across the pillow like strands of sunlight, her chest rising and falling with easy breaths.

She was dressed in a simple academy blouse and skirt, the fabric hugging her curves in a way that always caught Jae’s eye. He leaned on his side next to her, propped up on one elbow, his blonde hair slightly messy from the day’s training, eyes calm and focused on her face as they chatted about how the cafeteria food sucked and how she hated losing at sparring practice.

Jae’s free hand traced lazy lines on her chest, his fingers light and teasing over the soft swell of her breasts through the blouse. He appreciated how full and round they were, heavy in a way that made his pulse quicken, the skin underneath warm and inviting. "You’re so damn curvy up here," he said with a smirk, his voice low and snarky,

"Makes it hard to focus on talking when all I want is to touch you more." Yuna pouted, her lips pushing out in that upfront way she had. "Then stop tracing and do something about it, idiot. I didn’t come here just to chat."

He chuckled, his fingers kept moving, circling the outline of her nipple through the fabric, feeling it harden under his touch.

Yuna’s breath hitched a little, but she didn’t pull away; she arched her back slightly, pushing her chest into his hand like she was demanding more.

Jae leaned in closer, his body heat mixing with hers on the bed, the simple wooden frame creaking under their weight. Their talk faded as his tracing turned to gentle squeezes, appreciating the soft give of her breasts, how they filled his palm perfectly. "God, your body’s amazing, blonde hair, these big tits, curvy just right. You’re built like a princess should be, but way hotter."

Yuna’s pout turned into a small smile,. "Flattery doesn’t work on me... but keep going." Jae’s smirk widened, and he closed the gap, kissing her slow at first, his lips pressing firm against hers.

She kissed back upfront, her tongue slipping out to meet his, turning it deep and messy quick. His hand didn’t stop, he unbuttoned her blouse with deft fingers, pulling the fabric aside to expose her bare chest. The air in the room was cool, making her nipples pebble even more, pink and perky against her pale skin.

Jae broke the kiss to trail his mouth down her neck, sucking lightly on the sensitive spot just below her ear, then lower to her collarbone.

He shifted his body, leaning over her more, dominant as he cupped one breast fully, squeezing the soft flesh while his thumb rubbed circles around the nipple. Yuna let out a soft sigh, her hands finding his shoulders.

Jae appreciated every inch, how her chest heaved with each breath, the weight of her breasts making them jiggle slightly when he kneaded them. "These are perfect," he murmured against her skin, voice rough with want.
