As the chairman of the Cao family, Cao Liren exuded a strong aura of authority.
His entrance immediately drew many eyes.
"That's the chairman of the Cao family!"
"He's actually here for coffee?"
As the helmsman of the Cao family, Cao Liren frequently appeared on local television.
While the viewership of local stations wasn't high, some people still recognized Cao Liren.
Cao Liren's gaze swept the room and he immediately spotted Qin Hanchu.
With a somber expression, he walked towards Qin Hanchu.
"That's Cao Shu's father," Wen Jianing said with a serious face.
Qin Hanchu responded with a nonchalant "Oh."
As they spoke, Cao Liren arrived. His eyes were filled with fury. "You are Qin Hanchu!"
Qin Hanchu, holding his coffee, smiled. "If you have something to say, say it. If you want to fart, do it!"
"Did you break my son's hands?" Cao Liren questioned through gritted teeth.
Qin Hanchu took a sip of coffee. "Do you have any evidence?"
"Are you a man? Do you dare to do it and not admit it?" Cao Liren said angrily.
Qin Hanchu smiled. "Alright, I'll come clean. I broke your son's hands."
Upon hearing Qin Hanchu's admission, Cao Liren immediately burst into laughter. "I thought you were a meticulous person, but I didn't expect you to be so foolish!"
"Chairman Cao, what do you mean?" Wen Jianing asked, confused.
Not only Wen Jianing was perplexed, but even Cao Liren's bodyguards frowned.
"I have a recording pen here. Your own words are the best evidence for conviction," Cao Liren chuckled.
"Chairman, why did you reveal the plan?" a bodyguard nearby asked in surprise.
Cao Liren chuckled triumphantly. "He's already admitted it. What does it matter if he knows?"
The bodyguards were utterly bewildered. When had Qin Hanchu admitted anything?
Wen Jianing and Zhao Lanqing were also confused, unsure of Cao Liren's intentions.
In their eyes, Cao Liren seemed like a fool talking to himself.
Although Qin Hanchu's lips moved, they heard no sound.
"Chairman, did you hear him speak? Why didn't we?" a bodyguard asked, astonished.
"What? You didn't hear?" Cao Liren looked at his bodyguards behind him in disbelief.
In response to Cao Liren's question, the bodyguards all shook their heads.
Qin Hanchu teased, "Are you hallucinating? Want me to turn on the recording pen and let you listen?"
Cao Liren quickly took out the recording pen, but it only contained Qin Hanchu's words, "Do you have any evidence?"
Besides that sentence, everything else was Cao Liren's monologue.
Cao Liren had intended to use the recording pen to convict Qin Hanchu, but he couldn't understand how this had happened!
He clearly heard Qin Hanchu confess his crime, so why wasn't it on the recording pen?
What shocked him the most was that even the bodyguards standing beside him hadn't heard it.
Could he really be hallucinating?
"This..." Cao Liren was dumbfounded.
Qin Hanchu said mockingly, "I gave you a chance, but you couldn't use it."
Cao Liren clenched his fists in anger. "Justice may not be able to punish you, but my Cao family can! You wait, our Cao family's revenge will show you what it means to wish you were dead!"
"I'll be waiting. I hope you can give me some surprises," Qin Hanchu picked up his cake and continued. "You can leave now. After all, these bodyguards can't stop me from beating you up."
"You... you just wait!"
Cao Liren's face turned ashen with rage. Despite his anger, he didn't dare to challenge Qin Hanchu.
If more than ten bodyguards couldn't handle Qin Hanchu, then these few were no match for him.
After issuing a threat, Cao Liren, with his bodyguards, left in a huff.
After Cao Liren left the coffee shop, Wen Jianing asked curiously, "What just happened? Did you really say something? Why didn't we hear it?"
Qin Hanchu smiled. "Just a little trick to play with him."
"He really heard you speak? Why didn't we hear anything?" Zhao Lanqing asked, amazed.
"Even though it's a small trick, I can't tell you easily."
"You're so mysterious. Fine, don't say it then." Wen Jianing gave Qin Hanchu a look. "I have to go to work. You guys chat."
Just as Zhao Lanqing was about to press further, Qin Hanchu's phone rang.
Seeing it was Brother Tang's number, Qin Hanchu answered. "What is it?"
"I'd like to treat you to a meal," Brother Tang said respectfully.
"No need for a meal, just tell me what's wrong."
Qin Hanchu had no particular friendship with Brother Tang; in his eyes, Brother Tang was merely a walking ATM.
Hearing Qin Hanchu's words, Brother Tang got straight to the point. "There's a negotiation tomorrow, and I'd like your help."
"Send someone to pick me up tomorrow."
Brother Tang was, after all, his subordinate, so he didn't refuse.
This so-called negotiation was like a child's game in Qin Hanchu's eyes.
Hearing Qin Hanchu agree, Brother Tang happily said, "No problem, then I'll see you tomorrow."
...
At half-past eight in the evening, Qin Hanchu drove back to the villa.
As he passed a secluded stretch of road, a car suddenly overtook him.
The car suddenly drifted and then blocked the middle of the road.
Normally, Qin Hanchu should have braked at this point.
But Qin Hanchu pressed the accelerator to the floor!
Vroom...
Qin Hanchu's car sped up sharply, charging fiercely towards the car in front.
"Holy crap!"
The driver of the car was terrified and screamed, frantically shifting into reverse.
Bang!
Although the car managed to dodge Qin Hanchu's collision, its rear end hit a utility pole.
"Damn it, is this guy crazy?"
The car driver cursed. If he hadn't reacted quickly, it would have been the end of them both.
Still cursing, he quickly drove the car in pursuit of Qin Hanchu.
"Drive steadily, I'll take care of him!"
The young man in the back seat picked up a submachine gun, opened the car's sunroof, and stuck his head out.
Rat-tat-tat...
The young man, holding the submachine gun, unleashed a barrage of fire towards Qin Hanchu's car.
Bang bang...
Boom!
Qin Hanchu's car was instantly riddled with dozens of bullet holes and then crashed into the guardrail!
"Stop!" said the young man holding the submachine gun.
The car driver stopped the car not far away. "Give him a few more shots to make sure it's foolproof."
The young man nodded and reloaded the magazine.
Rat-tat-tat...
The young man first sprayed bullets towards the driver's seat where Qin Hanchu was, and then fired a few shots at the fuel tank.
Boom!
With an explosion, Qin Hanchu's car was engulfed in flames.
"All done!"
The young man first threw the submachine gun back into the car and then took out his phone to take a picture.
The car driver also smiled. "Let's go get paid."
Half an hour later, the car driver and the young man walked into the Glorious Nightclub.
In the Supreme VIP room, Cao Liren was smoking a cigar, puff by puff.
"Don't worry, Chairman Cao, my subordinates are absolutely meticulous."
The man speaking was bare-chested, with large tattoos covering his chest and back.
