Chapter 567 Three Stages of the Colored Realm, Barely Enough

“Who!”

“Someone in River Town dares to scare me?”

“Show yourself.”

Holding the telescope, Su Zhan yelled all around. After looking for a while and finding no one, he suddenly felt a pat on his shoulder. Turning his head, he saw Chen Yu grinning at him.

The moment he saw Chen Yu, Su Zhan’s telescope slipped from his hand.

“Old Chen!”

With an excited shout, Su Zhan hugged Chen Yu tightly. Nuo Yi, quick-witted, caught the telescope and muttered from the side.

“Prodigal, that’s quite expensive.”

“Old Chen, why are you here?”

Hugging Chen Yu tightly, Su Zhan’s eyes were full of surprise.

“Weren’t you in the Tato Kingdom? How did you suddenly come to River Town? I specifically went to the Tato Kingdom to find you and couldn’t find you, so I came back.”

“You went to the Tato Kingdom to find me?” Chen Yu asked in astonishment.

“What else?” Su Zhan replied earnestly. “I went through hardships to find you, thinking I could rip you off when I found you. But I didn’t. So I hurried back. Look at my tattered clothes, all from the suffering I endured looking for you.”

“I was going to mention this.”

Looking at the tattered clothes on Su Zhan, Chen Yu said with a wry smile.

“You must have had it rough. You don’t even have decent clothes. They’re all in pieces. Even a cave refugee wouldn’t be this pathetic.”

“Don’t mention it.”

Su Zhan waved his hand helplessly.

“When I went to the Tato Kingdom, I entered the Demonic Beast Plane and encountered a pack of phantom wolves. Luckily, I ran fast enough, otherwise, I would have been torn to shreds by those wolves.”

“Phantom wolves?”

Chen Yu frowned slightly, feeling that the name sounded familiar.

“They’re the ones that chased you for over half an hour and you killed with your random fireballs,” the little demon’s voice sounded in Chen Yu’s ear. Chen Yu suddenly realized and looked at Su Zhan with more empathy.

They were indeed not easy to deal with.

Chen Yu was lucky at the time. He encountered a lone wolf, not a pack. Even so, that lone wolf nearly killed him. He only managed to defeat it with his equipment and by constantly throwing fireballs.

Phantom wolves were incredibly fast and almost impossible to catch.

If a lone wolf was like that, Su Zhan encountering a pack must have been even worse. But the fact that he survived meant his strength was very impressive.

“Good, all’s well that ends well. It’s good that you’re back.”

Chen Yu patted Su Zhan’s shoulder heavily and casually asked.

“How did you get out?”

“Run? When have I ever run? I killed all those phantom wolves before I came out,” Su Zhan replied casually, shrugging. “I must say, those wolf cubs were quite capable. Unfortunately, they ran into Master Su. Forget about the phantom wolves of that plane, I directly destroyed their den before returning to River Town.”

???

Whether it was Chen Yu, Black Bean, Ronnie, or even the little demon, they all stared at Su Zhan in surprise, the words “This guy is a beast!” flashing in their minds.

Encountering a wolf pack and killing them all, that wasn’t the end. He had to go and annihilate their entire den?

“Su Zhan, what’s your strength now?”

Chen Yu murmured, his lips moving. Su Zhan frowned and scratched his head.

“It seems to be Rainbow Realm third stage, or maybe fourth stage. I can’t quite remember. You know, I’m an outsider, so I’m not very clear about the strength levels in this cave. Anyway, I’ve reached the Rainbow Realm, which is barely enough.”

Chen Yu: “……”

What?!

How did Su Zhan reach the Rainbow Realm?

Chen Yu had not dared to slack off since entering the cave. He had been running day and night, encountering countless opportunities, integrating regional resources, and establishing a city-state.

He felt that in terms of development, he was definitely at the forefront among all the outsiders.

Rainbow Realm?!

His childhood friend, best buddy, and brother with whom he grew up, was telling him in such a casual, calm tone…

He had reached the Rainbow Realm, and it was barely enough.

How was that possible?

Even the little demon had said that his cultivation was much faster than ordinary people. It had been less than a year since outsiders arrived in the cave, so how could Su Zhan have improved so rapidly?

“Did you get the Seven-Colored Fruit?”

The little demon standing beside them couldn’t help but ask.

“What’s a Seven-Colored Fruit?” Su Zhan asked, scratching his head in confusion. He frowned and pondered for a moment. “When I first entered the cave, I saw a tree that looked like a rainbow. I was very hungry, so I picked all the fruits from the tree and ate them. I felt quite comfortable afterwards.”

“And the other fruits?” the little demon pressed.

“I gave them to Nuo Yi and the others,” Su Zhan nodded towards Nuo Yi beside him. “I was keeping the fruits as emergency rations, but perhaps I was lucky, and the food from the opened boxes was enough, so I kept them. It wasn’t until I met Nuo Yi and the others that I shared the fruits with them.”

“How many?”

The little demon pursed her lips and asked softly.

“Probably over a dozen, maybe twenty,” Su Zhan said, scratching his head. “I don’t remember the exact number, but I remember taking down a big bag of them.”

Creak.

The little demon, with a stern face, clenched her fists, the slight tremor in her shoulders revealing her complex emotions.

“Are you okay?”

Noticing the little demon’s expression, Chen Yu asked softly.

“I’m fine, I’m very fine,” the little demon grinned, biting her lip tightly. “Let me ask you one more thing. Did the tree you saw have a red sign on it?”

“Uh…”

Hearing this, Su Zhan looked up, recalling the scene at the time.

“A sign? It seems there was one, but the sign was so rotten that I didn’t pay much attention. Why does this little sister know this? Did you see that tree too?” Su Zhan’s eyes were clear, filled with a smile that made people feel warm and comfortable.

Little did he know—

Creak!

The little demon’s fists clenched even tighter.

Seeing her expression, Chen Yu knew something was wrong. He quickly winked at Su Zhan to stop him from talking, then gently grabbed the little demon’s arm and pulled her aside.

“What’s wrong? Do you recognize the tree Su Zhan just mentioned?”

“Recognize?” The little demon’s voice trembled slightly. She slowly looked up, her eyes filled with a hint of manic despair, as if on the verge of a breakdown. “How could I not recognize it? Because that tree… was mine.”

“Ah?!”

In an instant, Chen Yu was stunned, staring at the little demon with wide eyes.

“You’re saying…”

“That tree is mine!” the little demon shouted through gritted teeth, her emotions completely breaking down. “That’s the tree I planted! The Seven-Colored sapling I fought desperately for, it’s mine!”
