Nina’s words carried a sense of pride.
She knew that with Brother Sebastian around, that bitch Ivy Kensington couldn’t hurt her.
"Oh really, then I’ll just wait to rot in prison."
Ivy hummed nonchalantly, letting go of Nina’s hair before the police came in.
"Officer, she tried to kill me, look at all this blood on my face..."
Nina eagerly walked up to the police, pointing at the fresh blood on her forehead.
But the police just glanced at her and asked, "Are you Nina Shaw?"
"Yes."
"Please come with us."
What?
Nina was taken aback. Weren’t they supposed to arrest Ivy Kensington? Why were they asking her to come along?
"Officer, you must be mistaken, it was Ivy Kensington who came to make trouble, I’m the victim!"
Nina shouted indignantly.
The officer frowned, speaking sternly, "Please do not disrupt official duties. Cooperate with us!"
Saying that, they directly handcuffed Nina and took her into custody.
"Brother Sebastian, please help me, there must be some misunderstanding..."
Seeing that she was about to be taken away, Nina quickly sought Sebastian Blackwood’s help.
Sebastian’s deep eyes narrowed slightly, his gaze falling on Ivy Kensington.
"Did you call them?"
Ivy nodded, "She incited someone to break into Sharon’s house and smash things, even hurting people. Naturally, she has to be arrested."
"Impossible."
Sebastian replied coldly.
He knew exactly what kind of person Nina Shaw was.
She might have an arrogant personality, but she wouldn’t do anything evil.
Hearing this, Ivy retorted with a mocking laugh, "Master Blackwood, should I think you’re naive or just stupid?"
"Do you truly understand Nina Shaw? She shows one side to you, but do you know what she’s like behind your back?"
With that, Ivy didn’t want to look at this blind man any longer and turned to head back to the hospital.
Sebastian watched the woman’s retreating figure, his Adam’s apple bobbing as he remained silent for a moment before striding after her.
Hospital.
Sebastian followed in Ivy’s footsteps, but before he could enter, Ronnie’s small figure rushed out, his eyes red as he glared at him.
"Daddy, I hate you!"
Sebastian’s black eyes darkened suddenly, were these words something Ivy taught him?
"Ronnie, who told you that?"
Ronnie stubbornly bit his lip, refusing to look at him again.
Ronnie’s resistant demeanor ignited anger in Sebastian’s heart; he realized he shouldn’t have let Ivy leave with Ronnie, she actually taught him such things!
"Ivy Kensington, come out here."
The man’s voice carried a hint of anger.
Ivy heard him and came out, looking at him with equal coldness, "Is Master Blackwood attempting to interrogate me? Do you think I taught Ronnie what he just said?"
Sebastian kept silent, but those dark eyes clearly spelled "Isn’t it?"
"Ha."
Ivy chuckled coldly, not wanting to explain further, she held Ronnie and prepared to leave.
"Stop."
Sebastian spoke up, determined not to let her touch Ronnie again.
"Ronnie, come to Daddy."
He reached out to Ronnie, who looked at him with reddened eyes, his small face full of sadness.
"Daddy, it wasn’t Mommy who taught me those words, it’s how Ronnie truly feels."
After a long moment, Ronnie managed to express his inner thoughts.
"Nina is a bad woman. She bullied Aunt Sharon and caused Brother Cody to bleed, so much blood..."
Thinking of the scene, Ronnie felt a burst of fear in his heart.
She liked Brother Cody and was afraid he would end up like Grandma, gone forever. She was really scared.
Sebastian was completely taken aback hearing Ronnie say these words; it was rare for the man to be so stunned in place.
