Chapter 306: Chapter 306: Baby, Did You Miss Me?

"Okay!"

Ginny and Cody nodded obediently, then exchanged a mischievous glance.

Hehe, sorry godmother!

Ginny grabbed Cody, and their little legs pitter-pattered as they darted into the crowd.

Outside the airport.

Ginny pushed Cody’s small frame into the car and climbed in herself with her little behind sticking up.

"Uncle Driver, we’re going to the Veridia Psychological Clinic!"

Ginny said in her childish voice, while Cody nodded vigorously beside her.

"Yes, yes, that’s the place!"

The taxi driver chuckled in surprise, "You two little ones, where are your mom and dad?"

"Mom and Dad are waiting for us at the clinic."

Cody answered cleverly.

Ginny operated her mini laptop, her big dark eyes gleaming with intelligence: "Uncle, my mommy is already there, hurry up."

Ginny was well-prepared; he could check Ivy Kensington’s location anytime.

The driver looked at them and couldn’t help but be impressed—these kids are really smart and quite calm for their age!

"Alright, little ones, hold on tight, Uncle will get you there."

With that, the driver pressed the gas pedal and sped towards the clinic.

Meanwhile, on the other side.

Sharon Langley had just made a call, ready to fetch the two little troublemakers, but when she turned around, they were nowhere in sight.

"Where are they?!"

Sharon Langley was shocked and immediately realized she had been tricked by the little rascals. She gritted her teeth.

She quickly dialed Ivy Kensington: "Ivy, Ginny and Cody came back with me, but now... they’ve run off!"

Ivy was just getting out of the car with Ronnie when Sharon’s call came in. She instinctively thought Ginny and Cody were there, and called softly, "Honey, do you miss me?"

Sebastian Blackwood, standing tall next to the woman, had his handsome features darken instantly upon hearing this.

Honey?

Was the person on the phone Ethan Ford?

In an instant, a surge of anger swelled inside him.

Sebastian reached out, trying to grab Ivy’s phone, but luckily Ivy was quick to react and didn’t let him succeed, "What are you doing?"

Ivy stared at him warily—she didn’t want him to know about Ginny and Cody after all, since the little ones looked a bit like Sebastian!

"Who are you talking to?"

Sebastian’s face was cold and handsome, and he demanded to know.

Ivy chuckled lightly, "Why do you care? Master Blackwood, we’re already divorced!"

Divorced.

Those two words pressed down on the man’s heart like a mountain; Sebastian cursed under his breath.

Damn it, this woman was really getting on his nerves.

Ivy walked a bit away before resuming Sharon’s call; just about to ask what happened, she heard Sharon say Ginny and Cody were missing.

What?!

Ivy was shocked—the little rascals had snuck back, and now they had disappeared.

"Sharon, what’s going on?"

Sharon explained everything from start to finish, and Ivy was terribly anxious.

Since Ginny and Cody started talking, they had shown an intelligence beyond other kids their age, but no matter how smart they were, they were just three-year-old little kids.

If they’re missing, what to do!

Hanging up the phone, Ivy anxiously walked over to Ronnie, "Ronnie, you go with Daddy to the check-up, Mommy will come later, okay?"

Hearing this, Ronnie’s eyes dimmed as he didn’t make a sound.

His reaction made Ivy feel bad too, but she had no choice—since Sebastian was there with Ronnie, she could be a bit more at ease.

But Ginny and Cody, those two little troublemakers, had just returned to the country and were unfamiliar with everything here, she really couldn’t rest easy!

"You’re letting Ronnie come out, but you’re leaving?"

Upon hearing Ivy’s words, a surge of anger rose in Sebastian’s chest, his icy gaze firmly held Ivy.

For the guy on the phone, she was actually leaving! This woman didn’t deserve to be a mother!
