Chapter 796 Worries of the Family

"Where did you take this photo? The angle is truly stunning," Lu Fei remarked, impressed by the image.

Liu Yifeng knew Lu Fei would appreciate such a photo, as the sense of awe it conveyed was something one couldn't experience on solid ground.

"It was taken on the rooftop during the hotel's topping-out ceremony today. If you have a chance, go up to the rooftop yourself. It's quite spectacular. This is a still image, but when you see the dynamic labor force working diligently, it truly warms the heart and brings a sense of relaxation. I must say, Zhang Jin chose the perfect location to build this resort-style hotel."

At first, Liu Yifeng had thought it was just a simple shed, and wondered what could be so captivating about it, especially since they had all seen sheds before. But seeing it now, he truly understood how refreshing and exhilarating it was to witness such natural scenery.

Lu Fei gave a thumbs-up. "I have to admit, this place looks incredibly refreshing. It's genuinely the first time I've seen our shed from this perspective."

Before long, the video of Liu Yifeng rescuing someone began to spread online, appearing quite perilous from what was shown.

As it was nearing the end of the workday, Lu Fei also saw the video and rushed into Liu Yifeng's office. "You're making the news awfully fast lately!"

He then handed the video to Liu Yifeng, who perhaps was unaware of the situation.

"This isn't something I can control. At the time, I was only thinking about saving the person, not much else. Since people find it astonishing and recorded it, I suppose there's no harm in that."

However, Liu Yifeng had indeed considered the implications afterward, which explained his composure when Lu Fei presented the video.

Lu Fei found his reasoning to be quite sound. "You're right. If I saw something like that, I would record it too. And I think what you did was absolutely right; the child seemed to trust you completely in the end."

He knew Liu Yifeng well enough to understand that he would definitely intervene in such a situation. It would be out of character for him not to.

"Fortunately, the comments are all positive, and people are actively asking for the hotel's name. With your investment in this hotel, everyone is even more eager to stay. I must say, your strategy is brilliant; the hotel hasn't even opened yet, and you've already made it famous."

Lu Fei watched the video repeatedly, filled with admiration for Liu Yifeng's bravery. He imagined there were likely many other men present at the scene, and few would have stepped forward to help as he did.

Considering the danger of the situation, he was willing to step in. If he had succeeded, it would have been fine, but if he hadn't, and the incident was captured and posted online by someone with ill intentions, the outcome would certainly not be as it was now.

"First and foremost, my intention wasn't to create buzz for the hotel. It was because the child was in a genuinely dangerous position that I went to rescue him."

He hadn't expected it to boost the hotel's popularity, but he was generally satisfied, as long as no one overreacted regarding the child or his family.

"Oh, right, since this matter has blown up so significantly online, you should get someone to handle the public relations and issue a statement, just in case our competitors try to exploit this video for more malicious purposes."

The situations from the previous few times had taught him to be cautious. He had asked Lu Fei to find a public relations team to manage any trending videos online promptly, hoping it would prevent future troubles.

Upon hearing Liu Yifeng's request, Lu Fei immediately set about the task. He was aware that after Liu Yifeng's videos went viral in the past, a series of problems would invariably follow, and he feared this time would be no different.

Therefore, he did not dare to be negligent and quickly contacted the public relations team.

When he returned home that evening, Tongtong was not yet asleep. Checking the time, it was past ten o'clock. By his usual bedtime, he would have already been asleep.

"Tongtong, why aren't you asleep yet?" Seeing Tongtong sitting on the sofa watching television with Liu Chunsheng, it looked quite heartwarming.

Liu Chunsheng snorted. "It's because he was worried about you. Ever since he saw the video after school this afternoon, he's been wanting to find you. I managed to stop him then, but he's still uneasy. He insisted on waiting until you got off work to see you. If you weren't back by ten, I was going to call the police."

Although Liu Yifeng's tone was one of mild rebuke, the concern within it was unmistakable. Tongtong's eyes also reflected his worry. Upon seeing Liu Yifeng, he immediately got up from the sofa and went to him, carefully examining him.

"Daddy, that video was so dangerous! If that child hadn't cooperated well, both of you could have fallen." Tongtong had watched the video multiple times, meticulously analyzing the level of risk, which he deemed to be very high.

If the child hadn't cooperated, even a slight movement while he was being carefully lowered down could have caused the scaffolding to sway, resulting in both of them falling.

"Thank you for your concern, Tongtong. It was indeed very dangerous, but seeing a child around your age in such peril, my first thought was to rescue him. Otherwise, how worried would his parents be? Don't you think so?"

He picked up Tongtong, who had slowly walked over and was meticulously checking him. When he went to rescue the child, it was entirely out of his own instinct as a father that he felt such an urge to act.

Tongtong nodded in agreement. "That's true. But Daddy, if you thought about Tongtong, didn't you think Tongtong would worry about you too?"

With a slightly aggrieved expression, he looked at Liu Yifeng, clearly very concerned for his safety.

"You're right. This is Daddy's mistake. I truly didn't consider that our Tongtong would also worry about me. Daddy will be careful next time and absolutely won't do anything so dangerous again, okay?"

He then playfully pinched Tongtong's little nose with his warm hand, his doting affection undeniable.

Tongtong frowned, not entirely pleased by Liu Yifeng's words. "What? Daddy, are you saying there will be a next time?"

"No, no, Daddy misspoke. There won't be a next time. I promise this is the first and last time, all right?" Liu Yifeng found the child to be remarkably precise with his words.

Even the slightest nuance in his speech could be understood so amusingly by him, truly reflecting a child's way of thinking.
