Chapter 753 Things Are a Bit Complicated

After answering the phone, a female customer service representative's voice emerged, gently pleading for them to remove the negative review. Her attitude was exceptionally pleasant.

If it were someone else, such a good attitude might have led them to change their review. However, the people they were dealing with now were not so easily swayed.

"How did it go? What did they say?" Lu Fei asked Liu Yifeng curiously as he hung up the phone.

Liu Yifeng nodded. "I've told them what we want. They'll likely send someone to contact us soon. There's no need to rush this; as long as we can stay patient, they'll be the ones to get anxious."

"That's right. It seems they realize they've encountered difficult customers." Lu Fei was in good spirits. Fortunately, with Liu Yifeng handling this, it was being resolved so quickly.

As expected, in the afternoon, Lu Fei's phone received a text message with an address, which was relatively close to them.

Lu Fei had initially planned to go himself, but he felt the other party might not be easy to deal with, so he let Liu Yifeng go instead.

"Hello, are you the one who sent me the text message?" The person who met him was not the butcher shop owner, but a woman of similar age to the owner.

Upon hearing Liu Yifeng's voice, the woman didn't speak immediately but scrutinized him from head to toe.

"That's right, it's me. Are you the one who gave our shop a negative review?" The woman's voice was not like the customer service representative on the phone.

It seemed this matter wasn't handled by just one person; it appeared to be a large operation.

"That's right, it's me. Tell me, how do you want to resolve this?" Since she was the one who left the negative review, Liu Yifeng decided it was best to handle this with an assertive attitude.

The woman didn't seem overly concerned about the issue, letting out a cold snort. "I know you, the famous ambitious young entrepreneur, Liu Yifeng."

He had initially thought this matter would be easier to resolve, but it seemed the other party was not easily dealt with, and they even knew his identity.

"Since you know me, let's resolve this properly. I don't need to beat around the bush. After eating your grilled meat, all of us ended up in the hospital. We have all the reports. Tell me how you intend to handle this."

He couldn't help but sigh inwardly, surprised that his reputation was known. Due to his status, many things were indeed difficult to handle.

"How can you be so sure it was our meat? Besides, you must have seen the reviews. We haven't had such a problem before. You can't just falsely accuse us because of your status, can you?"

Liu Yifeng chuckled. It seemed the other party was indeed not simple. "What you've said is a valid point. However, I previously bought your meat again and had it tested. It was indeed problematic. Furthermore, your marketing tactics are quite unique. You create the impression of a bustling butcher shop by using the idea of large crowds, and then you bribe people for negative reviews. By doing this, you're not only deceiving consumers but, more importantly, you're deceiving yourselves."

Liu Yifeng had simply said what he wanted to say. He hadn't intended to expose them directly, but since they knew his identity, there was no need for him to hide anything further.

"Whether we're deceiving people or not isn't up to you to decide; it's up to our consumers. Those abundant positive reviews are our evidence. Do you think your solitary word will make everyone suspect us?"

The woman remained composed, appearing unfazed. It seemed Liu Yifeng and his companions were not the first to approach them for resolution.

Liu Yifeng had initially thought they were the first to discover this issue and that he needed to resolve it.

But now, it seemed things were not that simple. Someone else must have discovered it earlier, but for some reason, they hadn't received the negative reviews they deserved.

"Since you have ways to resolve this matter, perhaps you should hear your suggestions first." It was evident that the other party was not someone who responded well to pressure, so he decided to try a softer approach.

Upon hearing Liu Yifeng's words, the woman's lips curved into a triumphant smile. "You are a wealthy individual, and money can't solve this for us. If you don't mind, I can help you manage your organic vegetable business. I assume you also have malicious negative reviews. If you entrust this to us, we will surely boost your positive review rate."

Liu Yifeng had also been working on improving the positive reviews for his organic vegetables, but there were always those who couldn't stand it and deliberately caused trouble.

He had also asked Tongtong to investigate this matter, and the findings indicated that it was indeed some trolls deliberately doing it. Since then, he had decided not to dwell on it.

Everything has its good and bad sides. Since he couldn't control the thoughts of the trolls, he could only strive to do his best.

Tongtong could have helped him resolve this matter long ago, but he didn't want to interfere with the natural progression of events, so he hadn't asked Tongtong to proceed.

However, hearing the woman's offer, he couldn't help but feel amused. She appeared quite confident, but Liu Yifeng had no intention of exposing her. He would let her remain confident.

"In that case, I should thank you. It's just that I don't think I need to resolve this matter. You know I'm not short of money. If you only have such a small bargaining chip to offer in exchange, I think we should forget it. I truly don't need it."

Liu Yifeng's tone was firm, showing no particular concern about the negative review.

The woman panicked for a mere second before instantly regaining her composure.

"It seems Mr. Liu is determined to fight us?" The woman's tone became much sterner than before, likely because the conversation wasn't leading anywhere.

Liu Yifeng remained silent, only offering a smile.

The woman let out a cold snort and stood up to leave, seemingly realizing that no progress could be made with him, so there was no point in prolonging the stalemate.

Upon returning to the company, Liu Yifeng was immediately pulled into the office by Lu Fei, who was eager to know the outcome of the negotiation.

"The other party clearly knows who I am. They believe that handling the money issue is difficult and instead offered to improve our positive reviews. It's evident they have dedicated personnel for this, and the person who contacted us is part of this group."

Lu Fei frowned. "So, that means the person who contacted us isn't the actual seller of the meat?"

"Precisely. It appears this industry is quite extensive. However, since this matter has escalated to this point, I must investigate it thoroughly."

He had initially been open to leniency if the other party had been reasonable, but now it seemed he truly had to get involved. Liu Yifeng's eyes showed a look of seriousness.
