Chapter 272 Buying a House (1)

"Don't push your luck. If you don't want it, I won't buy it," she said. He had only brought her to see the house as a formality, thinking that if she behaved well, he might consider buying it. But now, it seemed completely unnecessary.

The woman also lost her temper. "I don't care for this shabby house. Buy it for some other woman!" With that, she stormed out of the lobby.

The man walked out with a cold face, leaving Ge Qing stunned where she stood. Did she speak all that for nothing? She had thought these two would buy a house here and help her hit her sales targets, but they just left.

Many of her colleagues saw that this customer deal had fallen through and couldn't help but gloat. Few of them had made any sales this month either, so naturally, they didn't want anyone else to succeed and surpass them in performance. As for Fu Wenhui's team, they weren't worried at all, as they were certain she wouldn't be able to close any deals.

"Are they insane? They find the villas too expensive, and then they find ordinary residential homes too cheap. They made me waste so much time talking until my mouth was dry," Ge Qing grumbled angrily.

At that moment, another colleague came over to comfort her. "Don't be upset. Houses aren't that easy to sell. Next time you meet customers like this, just ignore them."

"Are you secretly wishing I wouldn't sell anything?" Ge Qing shot back, glaring at her colleague.

"How could I? You didn't make the sale, so you shouldn't take it out on me," the female colleague retorted, equally displeased.

Ge Qing, being in a bad mood, didn't respond. She turned and went to the lounge. She had spoken so much that her mouth was parched.

Meanwhile, guided by Fu Wenhui, Liu Yifeng arrived at the villa district. The houses here were nestled by mountains and water, yet not too far from the city center, only about a ten-minute drive. It was indeed a prime location.

Liu Yifeng parked the car outside. Fu Wenhui got out to speak with the security guard. Seeing that she was from the sales office bringing potential buyers, the guard let them pass.

"Our security guards are all retired soldiers. They are not only diligent in their work but also ensure high security!" Fu Wenhui explained to Liu Yifeng after he got back in the car.

Liu Yifeng had glanced at the guard from the driver's seat; he did indeed look robust and righteous.

Since the villa Liu Yifeng was interested in was a little distance from the main entrance of the villa district, they needed to drive in. Walking would have taken at least ten minutes. After several turns within the complex, they finally arrived at the villa.

"Are there any residents currently living in the villa district?" Liu Yifeng asked.

"Yes, but the occupancy rate is not high at the moment. Many customers are not satisfied with our current renovation style and plan to redecorate. Others feel that a new house needs at least a year to air out before it's safe to move in, so they are still living elsewhere temporarily. In fact, the renovation materials we use are top-notch, and you can move in after one to two months of airing. However, whether they move in or not is their prerogative; I have no right to interfere!"

They got out of the car as they spoke. Fu Wenhui took out a car key from her bag and opened the gate. "If you buy a house here, you can set up a password lock. That way, you won't have to worry about forgetting your key and being unable to get in." They had installed two types of locks: one with a keyhole and another for a password.

Liu Yifeng nodded and followed Fu Wenhui inside. The first thing that caught his eye was the open-air swimming pool, which was currently dry. Next to it was a pavilion for relaxation and a striking artificial rockery with a waterfall. In the pond below the rockery, several colorful koi fish swam. It was a sight that could refresh the mind and ease the mood.

"In these empty spaces, you can plant flowers and such," Fu Wenhui said, pointing to a patch of ground. "This pool can be used for hot springs in winter and for swimming in summer – a dual-purpose pool! Over here is the garage, which can accommodate two cars at once."

Liu Yifeng listened to her explanations and nodded in agreement. Fu Wenhui was very serious and detailed in her introduction, treating Liu Yifeng as a potential buyer. Since she had brought him here, she intended to treat him accordingly.

After introducing the courtyard, Fu Wenhui used another key to open the villa's main door; she had just opened the courtyard gate. As soon as the door opened, Liu Yifeng stepped into the foyer and was captivated by the luxurious decoration. The massive crystal chandelier in the living room made it feel like stepping into a castle. The interior design was simple yet elegant, exuding a sense of class.

"We have floor-to-ceiling windows on the first floor. If you feel bored, you can open the curtains to enjoy the view outside through them. Don't worry, people outside can't see in. The skylight is similar. At night, you can lie on the sofa and press a remote control. The roof will slide open like a retractable door, allowing you to see the stars through the transparent glass above," Fu Wenhui explained, demonstrating with the remote.

Liu Yifeng was astonished by the high-tech features. No wonder the house was so expensive; the various design elements were beyond that of ordinary homes. Fu Wenhui then led Liu Yifeng to the kitchen. "Our kitchen can be used for both Chinese and Western cooking; it's a fusion of both. The first floor has a total of three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The living room takes up the largest space. The second floor has four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a private cinema where you can watch movies with your family. The third floor is also equipped with four bedrooms and two bathrooms. You can renovate these rooms according to your preferences, such as turning one into a billiard room or creating a children's play area for them to have a joyful space."

She led Liu Yifeng through all the rooms as she spoke. Liu Yifeng examined them carefully and found no issues. He particularly liked the layout of the rooms. Most importantly, it was fully furnished, allowing him to move in with just his belongings, saving him the time and effort of renovating.

After touring the villa, Ge Qing, seeing Liu Yifeng’s silence, said, "Sir, that's the general situation of the villa. I've shown you all the rooms. Shall we head back then?" She had no expectation that Liu Yifeng would buy the house.

"Your service attitude is excellent!" Liu Yifeng suddenly praised her. He could tell that the young woman wearing the name tag 'Fu Wenhui' did not believe he could afford such a property, yet she had been so attentive and patient when introducing it, showing no signs of impatience. With such a work ethic, how could she not achieve sales targets?

He had seen the house and found no problems. He decided to buy it. However, he planned to keep it a surprise until they returned to the sales center. He wanted to give the woman who had previously dismissed him an experience of envy and regret. He wanted her to know that judging people by their appearance could lead to significant losses. In this day and age, wealthy individuals didn't always drive luxury cars or wear designer brands. Conversely, those driving luxury cars and wearing designer clothes might not be millionaires, as cars could be rented and clothes borrowed. Without telepathic abilities, one shouldn't judge a person based on their external appearance.

Fu Wenhui blushed slightly at Liu Yifeng's praise. "This is all part of my job!"

"Then let's head back. I've taken up so much of your time," Liu Yifeng said, making no mention of his intention to buy. Fu Wenhui, not considering him a high-priority sales lead, nodded when he suggested leaving. After closing the villa door and the courtyard gate, Fu Wenhui got into Liu Yifeng's van. They soon returned to the sales center.
